4.0 out of 5 stars Not A Breath Test As Mentioned In The Listing
If you read through the listing it currently (at the time of writing this review) contains mention of this being a breath test. It isn't, and to use the kit you'll need to take a stool sample. Unlike the other H-pylori tests I've done, which use a covid style lateral flow tester that you drip a diluted sample specimen onto, this interesting design integrates the whole process. Scrape a small sample using the wand, pale it into to specimen bottle and shake. The fluid it contains will dilute the sample and after 5 to 10 minutes the integrated lateral flow reader gives you a result. It's really very simple, and it helps to overcome some of the ick factor.I'm pleased that my own result came back negative. If it had been positive I'd have made an appointment with my GP, to get it sorted.

The Accufast H. Pylori Test Kit arrived boxed with clear and easy-to-follow instructions.While it isn't very pleasant to do, it is quick and can be done at home.I had H.Pylori several years ago and have never ever felt stomach pain like it in my life, 1000 times worse than than labour pains and toothache together,it was horrendous, i am always scared I might get it again,so when I got the opportunity to try this test I jumped at it, thankfully it came back negative. Please if you ever can get this test cause i honestly wouldn't wish the pain on my worst enemy it was that bad.I would 100% highly recommend this test.

A lot of people live with H.Pylori without knowing it so when you have stomach problems it's difficult to know the cause and with this kit you can test yourself without trying to persuade a GP to get the test done.The instructions were a bit vague in places and the paper you place over the toilet to catch your specimen was rather bizarre, I improvised on this step. However, testing was simple, if you've ever had to do a bowel screening test then this is a piece of cake.One can only assume the accuracy of the results but it does save the wait of seeing a doctor.

The range of conditions for which a home test is available seems to be growing. This one is for H. Pylori which is an undesirable bug of the Helicobacter family which can infest your gut with unpleasant effects such as ulcers and cancer. It is not a test for either of those conditions on their own but is useful if you are having issues.Like most of these tests it is very easy to use albeit maybe a bit messy and not the most pleasant as it does involve collecting a stool sample. A device very similar to the covid tests we hot used to show a positive or negative result. These tests are pretty reliable and a positive result should be followed by a trip to the GP who can prescribe a very effective drug based eradication therapy. Do not be alarmed by a positive test because it does not mean you already have cancer as many people can live with H.Pylori with no problems. Eradication of the bug is also easy and effective.

It is always of high value to know if have an over abundance of H.Pylori in and near stomach. A quick accurate results to see if any preliminary H.Pylori able to be detected.IF detected, contact your GP asap to have additional testing and medication to bring it under control.

I started getting regular stomach pain, that still comes and goes, about three months ago during a period of major stress. It’s hopeless trying to see a GP, so eventually I spoke with somebody after calling 111, who said he would pass on the notes to the GP. Needless to say I am still waiting.One of my concerns was that this might be H Pylori, which I’ve read is responsible for nearly half of all stomach cancer cases, so I thought it would be really good to take the test.The procedure itself is fairly straightforward with clear instructions on the outside of the packet. I’ll spare you details on the process, but basically it involves leaving a stool sample on a sheet of paper that comes included. Although I managed OK, I do think a wider piece of paper would be helpful in this instance.After collecting a sample it is really quite easy, as long as you follow the instructions and my results were negative. Obviously I cannot vouch 100% for the accuracy without a confirming test from a GP, but right now I am quietly relieved that is showing negative.

Ordered this hone test to check do I have helicobacter pylori as one of family members (my parent) living in different household has been tested fir that lately and I visited that person before we knew the results. Just wanted to find out that I'm clear from that, and thankfully, according to this home test I'm free from this nasty bacteria.The test was ready easy to do. Instruction is clear but it should be written in bigger font for others who need reading glasses to see that small writing.I'm glad I did this test do now I can sleep peacefully.This test gives clear results within couple of minutes. And for the £12 something, it's really worth to know are we clear from this bacteria or not.All the parts of this kit is good. The paper sheet is like large band which goes around the toilet seat (on top and underneath for secure hold) the sample stick collects the stool sample and goes inside the container with liquid for 10 seconds. After this short time we turn the 2 pieces of sampler and container connected together and we wait until some lines appear. One line near letter C says that test is negative and two lines on C and T shows presence of h. pylori.I can recommend this test to anyone who might have some symptoms in stomach or was lately in hospital or visited someone who has been tested positive for that bacteria.

Anche questo kit è stato all'altezza delle mie aspettative.La lettura del risultato è simile ai test covid di cui tutti siamo oramai esperti, e richiede meno di 10 minuti. Insomma, richiede più tempo la lettura delle istruzioni (è necessaria la lente di ingrandimento per quelle complete) che il test stesso.

En su interior tenemos dos piezas envasadas individualmente (recogedor de muestra y tapa con líquido), papel de recolección y folleto de instrucciones.Puntos positivos:- Nos permite hacer un test de Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) en heces, que a su vez constituyen indicios de alerta de posibles enfermedades como cáncer gástrico, gastritis y úlceras. Es conveniente hacer tests de detección temprana de este tipo de enfermedades de forma periódica.- Es fácil de utilizar siguiendo las instrucciones, una vez recogida la muestra se cierra con la tapa y la reacción con el liquido nos mostrará una raya en la ventanita al cabo de unos minutosPuntos negativos:- La recogida de la muestra no es muy agradable, el sistema de recogida de heces con el papel de recolección no es el mejor sistema disponible- No es barato, pero los beneficios de una detección temprana lo compensan sobradamenteEn conclusión, un test excelente para poder hacernos una prueba de anomalías relacionadas con el sistema gástrico. Auto test en attendant un rendez-vous vous medical !
Difficile de donner un avis sur la fiabilité de ce test mais au moins cela donne un résultat qui peut être vérifié par la suite en milieu medical spécialisé.Au vu des délais de rendez vous médicaux les auto tests ont de très beaux jours devant eux, c’est déjà une façon de pouvoir avancer dans la prise en charge.L’utilisation est facile : à la portée de tous si on suit bien le protocole expliqué sur la notice.Cependant le titre de la page produit est inutilement anxiogène car ce test aide à détecter l’helicobacter Pylori qui n’est heureusement pas souvent synonyme de cancer !
