4.0 out of 5 stars Good so far
Only been using for a couple of days but results are good so far, sharp blades with an even grind giving a nice clean shave. Time will tell how long they'll last , a good green alternative to a safety razor.
3.0 out of 5 stars Design flaw
I really wanted to like these. I don't often use disposables but do occasionally when I travel. I was looking forward to trying a more eco friendly alternative. However, there is a design flaw which made these a little uncomfortable to use. They have 2 blades but only the back of the bottom blade is exposed, the top blade is almost fully enclosed at the back, covered by the handle. This means it gets clogged very quickly and easily without any easy to unclog it, shaking in water and running under the tap made little difference. This caused the Razors to drag along my face, so not a comfortable shave at all.As they are eco friendly and they might work better on very fine hair I've given them the benefit of doubt with my rating.

Does the job, great value and zero plastic!
4.0 out of 5 stars Decent eco disposable razors
The Eco Origin Disposable Wheatstraw Razors, currently priced at £4.99 for a pack of 5, offer a more environmentally friendly option for those conscious about their ecological footprint. These razors are made from wheat straw, which is a great alternative to traditional plastic handles. While they aren't the cheapest disposable razors out there, the eco-friendly aspect justifies the price to some extent. The razors come in a simple cardboard box, which is a nice touch for reducing plastic waste. Each razor has a twin blade with a lubricating strip, designed to provide a smooth and clean shave. The handle is lightweight and has a comfortable grip, even when wet. In my experience, these razors work quite well for general shaving needs. The blades are sharp enough to provide a close shave without too much effort. One thing to note is that while the handle is eco-friendly, the blades and lubricating strip still need to be disposed of properly. This means the razors aren't entirely zero-waste, but they are a step in the right direction compared to fully plastic options. Overall, these razors are a decent choice if you're looking for a more sustainable option for your grooming routine. They perform adequately for everyday shaving tasks and come with the added benefit of being better for the environment.Pros:- 🌍 Eco-friendly wheat straw handles- 🧴 Lubricating strip for smoother shave- 👐 Comfortable grip, even when wet- 🚀 Sharp blades for a close shave- 📦 Comes in a recyclable cardboard boxCons:- 💸 Slightly pricey for disposable razors- 🪒 Blades can drag, especially on thicker hair- ♻️ Not entirely zero-waste due to metal blades and lubricating stripIn conclusion, Eco Origin Disposable Wheatstraw Razors are a good option for those wanting to reduce their plastic use. They provide a reasonable shave, are comfortable to handle, and come in eco-friendly packaging. While there are minor drawbacks, the benefits of using a more sustainable product outweigh them for environmentally conscious consumers.
2.0 out of 5 stars Not the best razor for your face
At the time of this review, you get five razors for around £7These razors arrive in a cardboard box. Each razor has a individual cover for transportation / safetyThe razors are twin bladeThe handles are hollow, but have a comfortable grip for shavingThe majority of the razor is made from WheatstrawSo as not to be misled by any environmental claims I’m quite happy that these razors arrived in a simple cardboard box that can be recycled, and the razors are made from Wheatstraw and not plastic which is much better for the environment however, the razors have a metal blade so the razor once used can’t be recycled. In this box, as I mentioned you get five razors so that works out at £1.40 per razor. It would be cheaper to buy bigger bulk packs. This supplier does also sell a box of 10 for £10 which works out as £1 per razor.I’ll normally shave and then back shave my face every other day.I had a shave yesterday with my normal wet razor .Today I had a shave with one of these razors and whilst this razor didn’t cut me, it was not a very comfortable shave, the blade dragged a bit and missed some beard. My experience leads me to think they’ve not used the best blades possible, that is why I’ve given it only two stars. You can buy what looks like a very similar to product to this in bigger bulk packs which works out even cheaper per razor if you’re happy with the shave quality of the ones provided here.Perhaps, like me, you will decide to order a small pack and try them or maybe you will go for a bigger pack which works out cheaper per razor. I won’t be ordering anymore, just not a comfortable shave for me.If you are thinking about buying some, I hope you find this helpful

Gave this a go and cannot recommend enough, good sharp disposable safety razor that is completely plastic free with lubricating strip that helps shave better unlike others. Comes in a kraft box. Great product!
