At the time of testing this advertised at £15.99. It is well made, light weight and compact. The spring in the base holder is vert strong and will secure the device to a table top quite securely. The magnet holds the phone quite securely without it being a tug of war to get off. The clamp only opens around 2cm before the spring becomes quite a challenge. It will fit most desks and certainly train tables and airline trays. I have found this particularly useful on my train journeys which allow me to read without having to hold the phone or try balancing it on the chair trays. If you fly a lot or do even one long distant flight I would say this is invaluable . It comes with a 2 year no quibble warranty and instructions. My iPhone fitted this perfectly but if you have a non MagSafe phone then sticky magnetic rings are provided as are two templates to ensure you fit them correctly. If you are looking for this kind of device look no further as you won’t be disappointed.

This phone clip is great if you specifically know what you need, but has limited functionality as a basic phone stand.By that, I mean that if you need to clip your iPhone to a vertical surface and don't need to charge it at the same time, then it's great. That may be a seat-back tray table on a plane or train, or it may be a monitor or some other existing stand. But it doesn't make a good free-standing phone holder as the base is too small to hold the weight of a phone. There are plenty of MagSafe compatible chargers that are much better at that kind of thing. The spring loaded clip is nice and strong, with rubber cushions on the inside to protect whatever you're clipping it too. And the magnet is strong enough to work through my phone case, although it's designed for either a naked phone or case that has the magnets built in. Either way, it worked well.Overally, if you know this is the exact thing you want, then it's a good buy. But it's not especially flexible or doing anything other tnan clipping an iPhone to a vertical service.

Brilliant quality product from ESR, as always.The spring that secures the holder to a desk or plane tray is extremely strong and holds it securely in place.The magnet that secures the phone to the holder is also extremely strong and holds my iPhone 15 pro perfectly, no concerns of my phone falling whatsoever.Brilliant design and fantastic quality, highly recommended!

This item is sold as an airplane phone holder and it does that job perfectly. The spring clamp allows you to fix it to horizontal or vertical edges. There is 360 degree rotation and 270 degree folding arm as well as being able to rotate the phone to any angle on the magnetic plate. This should mean you can find the correct position in almost any situation. Perfect for on an aeroplane or train so you don’t have to hold the phone.

This is a really simple item and one of those things you didn’t think you needed until you have used it.After just coming back from a vacation to Cyprus, I wish I had it with me then.It is very well constructed and will definitely stand the test of time.There is a spring loaded clamp which is opened with a thumb lever and a 360 degree moveable MagSafe ring mount. Your compatible phone sticks like glue and the clamp is very strong which results in a very stable phone for allowing hands free viewing when travelling.When not in use it folds nice and small which allows you stow away in your travel bag without taking up much space. Great product.

Hello there, nice to meet you! ;o)It's not everyday you find a phone holder that has super strong magnets to hold your phone in place, be it on the plane, some cars, some desks and what have you. This well-made compact phone holder can really travel with you and keep your phone secure.To say the magnetic ring of this device is super strong is an understatement. My (heavy) iPhone 15 Pro Max Wallet with Magsafe, is held beautifully by this holder. I'm totally amazed and impressed! The device is beautifully compact and can be tucked into your computer bag, purse, or carry on.One small piece of advice, however. Those with arthritic hands may find the clamp lever a bit stiff to push down to clamp on to a surface. I'm at a loss to suggest a workaround. That said, the clamp grabs onto your choice surface area, very, very well-- a good thing! ;o)You get a nifty template for just about any iPhone (and others) up to iPhone 15 Pro-- to help you align provided magnetic rings onto the back of your phone case, should you not have a Magsafe connection. Yes, the perfect flight accessory
I hate trying to keep up with my phone on a flight. I am afraid to use the seat back pocket for fear of leaving my phone behind, and so I am constantly fidgeting with it to find a safe, steady place to keep up with it. This clamp style holder is perfect. The clamp and magnet are strong enough for takeoff and landing and work with the tray up or down. The clamp is so strong it takes a fair bit of hand strength to use it, but the reward is a secure phone for the entire flight.

I haven't been able to use this on an airplane yet but I do use it to clamp on to my desk and it works great!the magnet is strong, the head spins fully and bends so it's a great tool for holding a phone.

Even if you’re not going on an airplane anytime soon, you should probably pick this up. The little clamp part is actually super strong, so it grabs onto the tray (or table) really good. The biggest thing for sure though is the MagSafe. It is incredibly frustrating having to deal with those universal clamp style holders because they always either seem like your phone is going to pop out at any moment, or it’s pressing down so hard it’s pushing buttons. I think it’s really cool how they included everything you’d need to make your phone compatible, but as long as you have a newer phone that has MagSafe charging, you’re totally good to go. I am actually really impressed with how strong the magnets are too! Even with a case on, that puppy isn’t going anywhere. Works great for the desk too!
Good holder
I saw another passenger using one of these holders and decided I had to try it. I ordered this one and tried it at home on a tv tray and it fit ok, not fully seated to the tray leaving some wobble. The MagSafe snaps right onto the phone and holds it tight. I give it 4 out of 5 stars and reserve the right to update after my flight next week.
