4.0 out of 5 stars Very accurate and fast

    S. · 10 September 2024

I already have a more expensive gaming mouse than this one (in fact originally twice the price of what this mouse currently goes for) and it is easily as good as that, and has a number of advantages (in particular the readout that enables you to see it’s current configuration). It is very accurate and fast and has configurable and very high DPI options. Aesthetically it looks the part and it looks pretty good both docked and undocked next to my keyboard/monitor, and the RGB effect and LED readout are attractive in a subtle way. Only minor criticism I can think of is the plastics lack a premium or high end feel, but for the money this is nice piece of gaming kit. Recommeded.

Bought this mouse as I was sick of using a wired one. I wanted one that had a stand because I thought it would look cool. And it does. It's an extremely reliable Mouse and it's helped me improve my gaming by alot. Theirs barley any latency from what I can see and feels extremely smooth to use. The RGB looks clean and the mouse has held up pretty well over the 6 months I've owned. Much better than what I thought. I was expecting a cheap box and a cheap mouse for £50 but I got an extremely nice box which felt like it was loved and the people at Klim genuinely love their products. While it's probably not as good as a Logitech G Pro super light or a Razer V2 pro. For only £50. It's a must buy mouse as it's extremely reliable and looks gorgeous. The skates on the mouse feels nice and smooth making it a breeze to use and the stand has nice and grippy feet to hold it place. The stand doesn't move at all when taking the mouse on and off the stand at all. The software could do with looking better but it works and it's simple. I have to say. It's a must buy if your looking for an extremely good cheap wireless mouse.

This is a really lightweight mouse which you may or may not prefer it is roughly a quarter of the weight of the mouse I use at the moment and that is probably why they call it a gaming mouse because in every other aspect it is just a normal mouse. My wired gaming mouse has a lot more programmable buttons on it.The left and right click feel nice as does the scroll wheel action. The mouse can either be used wired or wirelessly using 2.4Ghz or Bluetooth and that is where the problem is as I received this without a dongle. I opened the small compartment on the back of the mouse where it looked like it was supposed to be and the compartment was empty, see attached photographs. Being as I am reviewing this as part of the Bolo Vine programme I cannot return it, if I had purchased this it would obviously be returned. This absence of the dongle rather negates the reason I requested this; I suppose I could use it with my Steam Deck but at the current price of £79.99 that would be overkill when a cheap BT mouse is all you really need with that. I will probably end up giving this to someone who can use it via Bluetooth on a laptop. Not too impressed to be honest as at this price point there should be good quality control that is why I have only given 3 stars as the mouse itself does not feel that bad.I hope you found this review helpful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Five Stars

    B. · 29 August 2024

This is a good quality wireless gaming mouse. It took a little time to work out where the transmitter was as there was nothing in the underneath of the mouse like you would normally have in a wireless mouse, and there was nothing in the box. The instructions weren't as clear I would have liked but we eventually worked out the charging base is the transmitter! However, I got this for my son to use and he says it's the best mouse he's ever had. It's easy to use, responsive and lasts well on one charge. The base needs to be plugged into a USB point, but they you can just put the mouse on top to charge it. It also comes with grip stickers which you can put on the side and bottom of the mouse. It is a little expensive but nonetheless still warrants a good five stars for the quality of it.

5.0 out of 5 stars High quality rechargeable gaming mass

    S. · 29 July 2024

This is really nice gaming mouse. It's responsive and feels good in the hand. I like that it has a rechargeable battery rather than using disposable batteries. It's also nice that it actually has a charging stand rather than just using USBC. Don't get me wrong. USB type-c is nice and much better than the alternatives, but you can't beat a dedicated charging stand when it comes to your mouse. I haven't seen this very often on other mice that I've tried. I do play games on my PC but I'm not a competition gamer however, I do find that this mouse is "better", whatever that means, than then the mouse I used to use. Maybe it just feels better in the hand, I don't know. As you would expect is also perfectly fine when just using it for office work. I don't have any complaints other than the price which I thought was quite high. I suppose you get what you pay for. All in all, this is a good mouse that I would recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Mouse

This review is for MechLands AJ159 APEX Wireless Mouse, Lightweight Gaming Mice, with Magnetic Charging Design and Display Screen, 30000 DPI, PAW3950Firstly let me say I am not technical in any way, so I can only review this item on how well it works for me, I am unable to review any of the technical parts, this mouse is really sleek, it was very simple to install, basically plug and play, the mouse happily sits on its charging station until you are ready to use, and it fits really nicely in my hand, and the scrolling wheel is really responsive, and the buttons on the side are also really responsive, the whole unit looks really spaceage with its LED design telling me how charged it is, like I said I am a total technophobe, but I am really happy with it.

Very lightweight and nice charging base

    C.K. · 26 September 2024

I'll start off by saying that this is a very lightweight mouse and at least a little smaller than average so if you have large hands or want a mouse with a little more weight to it then it might not fit your preference. probably have about average size hands so I find the size of it to be fine but if it was any smaller I might have been complaining. Since I don't really play FPS games or similar mouse-heavy genres the weight of it wasn't really important to me. It has many customization options and you can connect to it wirelessly via bluetooth, wirelessly via the base through 2.4GHz, or wired directly. I've been using it wirelessly with the charging base and I'm happy using it like that. I leave it on the charging base when not in use so I'm never worried about it dying. A very clear advantage this mouse has vs other wireless mice is honestly the charging base, it's just so convenient compared to plugging it in. Plugging it in isn't even that much effort but comparably the magnetic charging base makes it so easy to just plop it on and charge that I couldn't see myself using it any other way; it also has a display screen that shows your settings and with included downloadable software you can customize it in ways like turning the idle screen into a gif. I don't notice any kind of lag when using it via 2.4GHz but I'm not too picky about that kind of thing where others might be. My one minor and personal nitpick would be that it's a little disappointing that it doesn't have any extra buttons as I'm used to a MMO mouse with like 12 extra buttons but I'm a bit biased there because of that. It has 2 side buttons that are configured for back and forward but I'd have appreciated even one extra button to bind to something of my choosing. Overall it's a great quality mouse and in my opinion the current price of ~$103CAD is somewhere in-between budget and high quality, but I think the price is fairly reasonable though niche as people looking for a budget mouse are likely going to look for something much cheaper and people looking for a high quality mouse are likely going to prefer paying for something pricier looking for something with more features. I think I'd recommend it as long as it isn't lacking any features you want.

    Very lightweight and sensitive mice

    K.N. · 1 August 2024

I use this mice to play pc games. The mice itself is very lightweight as it is, so the added sensitivity was awesome for gaming (I had the DPM set to 1600). My wife who was using my computer to surf the net said that the mice was too sensitive and made it a little tough trying to track where the cursor was since the mice essentially glided across the mouse pad (since it's so lightweight) and the cursor was zooming across the screen. When I adjust the DPM for her, she became a big fan of the mice since it's so lightweight. Overall, a great mice for everyday use.

    Light, responsive and small

    J. · 29 October 2024

I've been using this mouse for about 3 months and it's worked without issue. Great presentation, the box it came in was nice and comes with accessories. I've mostly used it in wireless mode. All the buttons feel tactile and satisfying to press. When compared to my Logitech G pro wireless its lighter, smaller and has a lower profile. Great for those with small hands or want to use the 'claw' grip when gaming. The digital display is a bit much I could of just done with a smaller dongle but it sits well on a desk and easy to access when you need to recharge. RBG is great as well, bright and crisp colours.

An impressive wireless mouse with modern features (aka lightweight & compact shape)

    C.I. · 23 August 2024

I picked out the AJ159 APEX wireless mouse because it's been a while since I've updated my mouse and I wanted to try something out with more modern features. It seems like it was only yesterday when gaming mouse manufactures included small weight sets so that you could add just the "right" amount of heft for peak performance. Then they swung hard in the opposite direction with skeleton geometric cuts to remove every ounce of un-necessary plastic. This model promotes itself as an ultra-light (56 g) version with a solid body construction (although I've seen other reviews stating that it actually weighs closer to 59 g).Essentially, this is a copy of another very popular gaming mouse at a lower price point and with some slight tradeoffs - which just about wraps up my summary of this. If you're a competitive online gamer, you've likely already purchased the leading mouse from the name brand manufacturer. If, however, you're a casual gamer who hasn't tried out a new mouse for a few years, then this might be a good choice for your to try out before investing heavily in the state of the art gear. The AJ159 Apex feels comfortable due in part to its size and shape as well as the surface coating that's applied. If you want something with even more grip, the mouse comes with some grip tape decals that you can apply (almost like the early days of skateboarding). I could drone on about polling rates, the PAW3950 sensor, and the Huano green shell white dot transparent switches, but honestly - if you are curious how this mouse performs you should just buy it and try it out.I will say that I especially like the magnetic charging base with the RGB light bars and interactive display screen, which also doubles as the 2.4 GHz wireless dongle connection. It's a convenient way to dock the mouse to a charger when not in use.My final impression after using this for a few weeks now is that I can now appreciate the feel of a lightweight mouse after using many heavier models for years. The AJ159 Apex made a believer out of me to the point where I bought another one for my brother to try out as well. If you're considering a newer model gaming mouse, then the AG159 Apex is certainly worth testing to see if it fits your style.

A Lightweight Wireless Mouse with a Few Hiccups – The AJ159 APEX Review

    P. · 15 September 2024

I recently got my hands on the AJ159 APEX Wireless Mouse, and so far, it’s been a mixed bag of experiences. First off, this thing is incredibly light—56 grams, to be exact. If you’re used to bulkier mice, this one will surprise you with how agile it feels. It glides across the mousepad almost effortlessly, making fast movements in games really fluid. The design is sleek, and it takes up hardly any space on your desk, even with the magnetic charging stand. Speaking of the stand, I love it! It's convenient to drop the mouse onto the stand between sessions, and it ensures you’re not scrambling for a charger at the last minute. Plus, the RGB lighting is a nice touch—nothing over-the-top, but it adds a bit of personality to your setup. The stand also displays the time, which is a neat bonus. Now, here’s where things get tricky. I was really looking forward to testing the 2.4GHz wireless connection, but unfortunately, the dongle wasn’t included in the box. After some back and forth with the vendor, they're checking their warehouse for a replacement. So far, I’ve only been able to use the Bluetooth connection, and I have to say, it feels a little unstable. The cursor jumps around slightly, but I’m still playing around with the DPI settings to see if I can smooth things out.The mouse is equipped with the PAW3950 sensor, which is supposed to be top-tier with up to 42,000 DPI and excellent tracking speeds. But without the 2.4GHz connection, I haven’t been able to push it to its full potential. I imagine that performance will improve significantly once I can try it with the dongle, especially with the 8000Hz polling rate in wireless mode.In terms of feel, the mouse fits well in the hand, and I can definitely see myself using it for longer gaming sessions without discomfort. It’s also rated for 100 million clicks, so it’s designed to last. I haven’t put that claim to the test yet, but it’s good to know that it’s built for heavy use.Compared to other gaming mice in this price range, the AJ159 APEX holds its own—especially if you’re into lightweight models. But if you rely on a rock-solid wireless connection like I do, missing that 2.4GHz option could be a dealbreaker until the dongle issue is resolved.Summary:Overall, the AJ159 APEX has a lot going for it: ultra-lightweight design, a solid sensor (at least on paper), and a convenient magnetic charging stand. The RGB lighting adds some flair, and I appreciate how compact it is. However, the missing dongle and slightly jumpy Bluetooth connection have been frustrating. I’m hopeful that once I can test the 2.4GHz connection, the performance will improve, but until then, I can’t fully recommend it for serious gaming. If you're looking for a lightweight mouse and can rely on Bluetooth or wired connections, it’s worth considering, but keep an eye on those accessories!
