4.0 out of 5 stars Nice looking and lightweight, but the hose is smaller than standard
This is a rather handsome pale grey hose and reel set which looks very smart in the garden.The reel is easily mounted to a wall, and is made to be detachable so that you can remove it and take it somewhere more protected over winter, which is when most hoses get damaged by frost and ice. You can also carry it around the garden very easily, if you need to.The reel is plastic, but seems very robust and solid, and importantly, the handle is easy to turn, making reeling in easier. I would have liked to have seen the wall mount that the reel hangs on be a little more chunky to support and hold onto the reel more securely when I was reeling the hose in, but to be fair, it hasn't actually fallen off yet. You get 20m of hosepipe, plus a 2m length which attaches the hose and reel to your outside tap with a push-fit connection. As with all connections, whether push-fit or screw, you'll need a roll of PTFE (plumbers tape) to ensure that the connection doesn't leak.I hadn't realised before it arrived, but the hose gauge is slightly smaller than standard. I can appreciate that this makes the entire thing more compact, and the reel easier to move and to store, but I do worry that if one of the push-fits fails--the spray head for example, or worse, the tap mount--then I'm not sure how easy it will be to source another. Flora Guard themselves don't appear to sell spares.The hose has a handy trigger nozzle with a little flow lock on the top. The trigger is at the back rather than the front of the nozzle body, which feels a little odd to me, but it works fine with no leaks.In all this is a smart looking hose in a colour that disappears int othe background, which is great. It does look very nice on our white plaster wall. I do still remain a little worried that I won't be able to source spares for it though, particularly since the manufacturer doesn't seem to stock them, so for that I've deducted a star.

This is a great solution to having a loose hose that you have to wind by hand and hope it stays compact.The reel allows the hose to be easily and neatly stored when not in use.It can be hung from a wall or simply placed on the floor. Alternatively it can be stored away in a shed securely to prevent theft.The spray gun is very useful for selectively watering different things with different intensity as plants, cars, etcA good solution but you need to check the price against other comparable options out there.Recommended as long as you can get at a good price

Overall it's a great hose reel though it does seem shorter than you would expect for it's size. It is however well made and seems durable. Only knocking one star for the lack of length for the price that is being asked for it.

I'm not quite sure why this garden hose is priced at £79.99, as it's essentially just a garden hose with a plastic reel. I do appreciate that the product is lightweight and portable, and the plastic reel makes it easy to move around. You can also connect another garden hose to extend its length, which is a nice feature. During my tests, there were no leaks as long as the connector on the reel was tightened properly. The hose appears to be heavy-duty and resistant to bending, and while all other parts are plastic, they function well.While it’s a good and complete system, I still think it’s overpriced (£79.99 at the time of writing this).

This is a very good hose and is well made and goes right to the end of our garden. It feels really substantial in that the pipe is thick and flexible and very robust. The mechanism for rolling it back up is okay in my opinion but is not substantial enough and just needs to be a little bit more bigger I think but that's my personal opinion and that stops me putting it on the wall. Overall it's a very good hose pipe and well worth the money paid.

This is a nice looking hose (well, as nice as hoses can look!!); it's easy to attach to the wall, is light and portable but, as other reviewers have pointed out, the hose is slightly smaller than the norm which may make finding replacement parts more difficult. I'm not quite sure why the cost is so high (£79.99 at time of review) as I can't work out what makes it special over and above other hoses so a little on the expensive side I would say but it's a nice hose!

Impressed with the quality and ease of using this hosepipe. The reel is solidly made with a nice easy to grip handle to wind the hosepipe in. It comes with a generous 20 metres of hosepipe and also an extra bit of hose to attach your reel to the tap. The head sprinkler is nice to hold and has different spray functions which you can adjust by simply twisting the nozzle.

This garden hose reel is a good length at 20 meters, which is enough to cover the majority of my medium sized garden.The reel can be fixed to a wall or used freestanding, giving you options and I find that it's quick and easy to unreel and reel the hose back in as and when needed.It also comes with a hose gun, which has several different spray patterns which can be changed based on what you're watering or washing.So far, it's done a good job without any major leaking, so I'm hoping that continues.Everything feels strong and durable, so I would expect it to last a good number of years, but time will tell on that front.All in all, it's a good hose reel, but quite expensive at £79.99, which was the price at time of writing.

Works Good
I ordered this for our front yard. We mounted this to the side of the house. So far no problems. This has been such a help in keeping our hose from getting any kinks from when we previously stored it on the ground. Nice solution to keep our yard and hose neat and tidy. i recommend this product,
Decent Budget Level Hose and Reel
This isn’t a high end hose reel and I’d say it’s more of a budget level reel. But it’s also a lot cheaper than the high end reels so it seems like that’s to be expected somewhat. It’s plastic and the hose is very small and thin, and I’ve found that the hose kinks pretty easy due to its lightweight size. The upside of the light plastic and hose is that it’s easy to move around if you’re not mounting it, and it’s perfect for carrying around the yard to do quick hand watering jobs.
Good construction of the hose reel
This is a very durably made product and the hose is good for every day use honestly. The house is well-made and very sturdy and the hose is nice and thick so it does not move around great but if you’re just using it in shorter areas, it is fine and easy enough to handle. I bought this to put on the other side of a fence cause I do not have a hose hook up on the side of the house where I wanted to use this so I just use a shorter run from the backyard and hook into this and then use this on the side of the house and it works great. I’ve had no issues with it sun drying or cracking the hose and the plastic has held up in the elements.
Nice
As you can see in my photo, this hose reel set is a huge improvement from my jumbled up mess of a hose that is laying next to it. It comes pre-wound and the only thing I had to do was install the crank handle, trigger handle, and the connecting hose. It literally took me 2 minutes to set up once I got everything out of the box. It's easy to use. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the trigger handle has an actual trigger on it that you have to squeeze in order for it to allow water to come out. It doesn't seem like a big deal until you realize that not squeezing the handle means water is building up inside of the hose and needs to be released somehow. Just seems like a design flaw. As long as I remember that I think it will be fine. Overall, I'm happy with it.
