    This is really nice set and it is built with nice quality. Great value for money, size of board is just perfect. Magnetic bord is really handy and now kids can have a fun play and sharp their brains.

    This is a really well-made and great quality chess set. The pieces are stored in the box, which also acts as the board. This makes it a very portable set that’s easy to take away on holiday with you or around to a friend’s house. The magnets are the part I like the most. My wife is incredibly clumsy and frequently knocks the pieces over or knocks the board while we’re playing, which has sometimes led to the end of a game as it’s impossible to put things back. The magnets hold everything in place, so we don’t have to worry about her negligence any more. Although this does seem to mean that she is more focused on the game, so she’s a more challenging and competitive opponent that she has been up to now!I'm quite impressed with the build quality, for the price. A decent set.

    I'm really happy with this chess set. It's great value for the price, as the box (which is also the board) is good quality wood and has a nice soft green interior to hold all your pieces. The addition of two extra queens is fantastic, although I am still a novice so it will probably be a while before I use them.It comes in a cardboard box which can be seen in the listing. I almost wish this wasn't cardboard because I love the design of the box but for the price, I can't really expect anything else.This is definitely easily portable as it takes up very little room and is surprisingly lightweight. I haven't played with a magnetic set before but I don't know how I could play with anything else now because both myself and my boyfriend are extremely clumsy- so this eliminates a lot of frustration.Overall, I'm really happy and can recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality, affordable set that doesn't take up much room.

    Good value traveling chess set this, with simple wooden carved pieces but it has a nice charm to them, they are very light but have a magnetic base in order to sit nicely on the board, wont withstand a huge knock, but it's certainly magnetic enough to move it around if you need.The box it comes in is pleasantly presented tho it is simply printed cardboard, but still, the extra effort was appreciated.The board itself is a simple chess board, folds out nice and flat and isn't too book at 30x30cm, big enough to play on tho.All in all, its a good travel set and will be coming with us in just a few short weeks.

    The media could not be loaded. This is a very practical chess board, which is nicely manufactured. There are some minor imperfections, such as the marks you can see in the attached picture between the numbers 4 and 5 either side of the board, but it's generally well-crafted otherwise.The board opens up to contain the pieces, each with their own slots. The addition of the extra queens is useful, for those who are skilful enough to make it to the other side with a pawn (don't think I'll be getting much use out of that one!). The knights look a little unusual, as they're not as curvy as in most sets, but on the whole the pieces are nicely cut.The magnetism is very effective. It's strong enough to prevent pieces falling with a slight shove of the board, but not too strong, so they're still easy enough to move. I would feel comfortable using this on a train (if I'm lucky enough to have a table seat) without fear of the pieces throwing themselves all over the carriage.

    Das Schachbrett bzw der Kasten macht einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck und gefällt mir gut. Die Oberfläche ist nicht aufgeklebt, wie bei anderen und sehr gut gearbeitet. Der Verschluss funktioniert und stört nicht. Die Figuren (magnetisch) sind schlicht und ohne Schnörkel gearbeitet. Hier hätte ich mir etwas mehr Feinarbeit gewünscht. Dame und Läufer sind nur durch die Größe zu unterscheiden. Aber für den Preis okay. 2 Damen sind dabei.Die Figuren fallen heraus, wenn man den Kasten kippt. Im geschlossenen Zustand sind sie aber gut fixiert.Insgesamt bin ich zufrieden mit dem Kauf.

    Je cherchais un jeu d'échecs en bois, pas trop cher, aimanté, ni trop grand ni trop petit, pour faire découvrir le jeu à mes petits-enfants. Difficile de choisir parmi toutes les propositions... J'ai finalement opté pour celui-ci, et il me convient parfaitement !
