5.0 out of 5 stars Good Quality 3M Adhesive Will Securely Fix this Magnetic Tape to a Range of Surfaces
This listing has two alternative lengths of this magnetic tape; 4 meters and 6 meters. I opted for the six meter size as the tape, which attaches to itself, needs to be applied to both surfaces. This makes the effective length half what is supplied on the roll.The tape is fastened to the surface using 3M’s 9448A Double Sided Tissue Tape. Instructions for using the Fixchord are printed on the circular label and this probably tells you all you need to know, but if you want more information about the properties of the 3M adhesive an Internet search will lead you to full details on the 3M website.The magnetic attraction between pieces of the Fixchord is not very strong and it relies on longer lengths being used. The listing shows it holding, what appears to be a phone, to a wall - any items so held would have to be quite light for the adhesion to be enough to secure them.

We used this tape to create a new door seal for our fly screen and unfortunately have run into the same issue some others have had - it's just not very strong magnetically for anything other than thin netting. If this is your only use for it you should be fine.Aside from that, the quality is pretty good, with no issues to report. You get 6m for the price and this was enough for our door with some left over.It worked decently well for our uses.

I recently got a pair of those under-cabinet motion-sensor lights for my kitchen, and the thing I like most about them is the fact that they're held on with magnetic strips and you can take a light down so easily and use it as a bit of a torch on a night time or any time you need to look in a dark place, like under the bed!After I'd had them for a bit, my brain started thinking about various other items in my house that would be good if they were stuck to the wall or wherever with magnetic strips... do you see where I'm going with this?Basically, I'm going to use this multipurpose roll of magnetic tape to do all sorts of slick keepy-uppy things around my gaff.The magnetic force is pretty strong, too, and it's easy to cut with an ordinary pair of scissors. All in all, I'm very pleased with this product. It's going to be veeeeery useful indeed.

I got this adhesive magnetic strip for making insect screens for a window, and I had also hoped to be able to use it to stick on items that I'd like to attache to vertical metal surfaces.However, I'm disappointed. The adhesive is OK - it seems to be fairly standard thin double-sided sticky tape.The strip cuts easily with scissors, and if heatd slightly can be curved alon the length to stick to curved surfaces. But the strength of the magnet is near on useless, and oly really works if you have one length of the magnetic strip sticking to another. It'll be sufficient for my insect screen, just, but no use for the other purposes I had in mind for it. Just be aware that you will need double the length!

I ordered this with the idea of making a magnetic toolboard to tidy up my tools.Having cut a couple of strips to length (this was easy with side cuts but I found using scissors a little hard) I stuck them to the plastic board and left them to cure - they stick really well to clean surfaces like plastic or fridge doors.Then came time to start hanging some tools - not so good - they held things like drill bits and small spanners but anything with a bit of weight just slides off..However the strips do stick to each other really when you have the polarisation right so for their intended purpose of holding a fly screen up or using them on both the surface and a non magnetic item they work quite well.For 6m of the magnetic strip I think it is good value and it is easy to use but I will be looking for another solution for my tools

Used this magnetic tape to attach art and craft items that our daughter keeps making. It is a great solution for this, I feel. You get a 6m length of strip so this will last a long time for this usage. Lucky that this can be used for may other 'light' things that require to be mounted on a surface.At just over £2 per metre, I think this is good value and the magnetic strength is good for what is meant to be a fly screen holder.

Having a few fly screens around the house, as well as it being nice to mount some things to metal surfaces. Sadly the magnetism is super weak and it couldn't hold up my fly nets anywhere near as well as the magnetic pieces that came with them.I can't find a use for this tape as a result. It's not strong enough for my purposes.

Llevaba tiempo queriendo comprar una cinta imantada de este tipo. Cuando se me dio la oportunidad de probarla, no me lo pensé dos veces, la pedí rápidamente porque tenía mucho interés acumulado.Cuando abrí la bolsa y la vi, lo primero que me sorprendió fue el tamaño del rollo, que si lo piensas bien, es lógico por la cantidad de metros que trae. Pero vamos directamente al uso, que entiendo que es lo más importante para el que está buscando una cinta imantada de este tipo.En cuanto al uso, en mi caso, genial. A ver no es imán de neodimio, por lo tanto, no podéis esperar un gran magnetismo, eso yo ya lo sabía antes de comprarla porque si bien no había utilizado una cinta de este tipo, sí estoy acostumbrado a usar imanes en términos generales, así que el magnetismo no es más ni menos del esperado. Suficiente para sujetar un papel, suficiente para sujeta una canaleta para cables, suficiente para cosas que no ejerzan mucha fuerza. En mi caso concreto, principalmente la he utilizado para sostener unos separadores de unas baldas metálicas en una tienda, y justo ahí, va perfecta.Las utilidades que se le pueden dar son infinitas, depende un poco de vuestras necesidades. Yo ya tengo medio rollo gastado, y el resto ya estoy buscándole utilidad.

Das Magnetband kommt wie bebildert und beschrieben daher. Ich habe es benutzt um Acrylspiegel an der Metallwartungsklappe meines Bades anzubringen. Das hat super funktioniert. Nachdem ich auch relativ starre Neon-LED-Band an meinem leichten Schreibtisch anbringen wollte, kann ich nun aus Erfahrung auch mit anderem Magnetband sagen, dass das Band entweder stark ferromagnetischen Untergrund braucht, oder aber erst auf "Länge" richtig ordentlich Anziehungskraft entwickelt. Für diese Anwendungen, wie bspw. den leichten Spiegel Fliesen absolut topp - die halten wie festgeklebt sind jedoch jederzeit easy abnehmbar.Wer extreme Anziehungskraft auf winzigen Ebenen oder aber minimal magnetischen Flächen erwartet, wird sicherlich enttäuscht werden, wer aber so wie ich, das Band auf Länge nutzt und auf extrem metallischen Fläche, wird seine pure Freude mit dem Zeug haben.Die Verarbeitung wirkt auch gut und der Klebe ist auch in Ordnung. Hält bisher alles bombenfest.

Gutes Magnetband
Das Magnetband lässt sich gut anbringen und hat eine gute Stärke. Ebenfalls lässt es sich gut schneiden. Habe es an die Wand gehangen um meine Steelbocks an die Wand zu hängen und die halten sehr gut dadran.
