Item arrived with a good packing. I like the way it hide the USB cable so I don't need to worry about the cable while travelling. I'm using Windows 11, once plug in and I can use it straight away.

Very compact, though feels a tad flimsy. Plays CDs and BDs well - can't comment on writing. The built in cable is convenient, especially with the two different plugs, but could do with being a little longer.

The player is good but again douse not come with any blue ray software which sucks had to xxxx about while trying to set to the region goods I want to use on it also it's annoying when you don't use windows and even on windows you still end up xxxx in about with it

I bought this as a replacement for a DVD drive i had because i wanted to start ripping my Blu-ray collection into digital format. It worked well at first and for the most part if works fine. But it is quite flimsy and if knocked or moved slightly while reading a disc it will stop working. The lock on the drawer isn’t great and can take a few goes to get it to stay closed. There have also been a few occasions where the button failed to make it open - this is easily solved by asking the computer to eject the disc. I have ripped around 100 DVDs and blurays over the past few months and it has had issues reading the disc maybe a dozen times. Whether this is the disc or the drive I’m not sure. But I have had some fail and I’ve come back the next day and they’ve worked fine which suggests a temperamental drive rather than a dodgy disc. If the return window wasn’t closed I would probably return it and buy something maybe two or three times as expensive with a different drawer mechanism but it’s fine for now.
