I have bought a number of different Clarins products in the past and been pleased with them all, though this has been my first experience of their serum. It is nicely presented and good to use, with a decent dispensing action which delivers evenly in suitable amounts. I like that it is easy to apply on my skin, with a very light feel and even a small amount of the product covers well. It has a very nice, light fragrance which is less noticeable after a short time and the serum leaves my skin feeling hydrated but not oily. Repeat use has left my skin feeling soft and looking healthy, though it hasn’t miraculously hidden my wrinkles.

As it was a present for the wifey, this is what she had to say:Great serum.Double Serum 9 from Clarins has left my skin feeling hydrated after each application.Even though there is avocado oil along with other types of oils amongst its ingredients, I can say that it did not leave my face greasy, but on the contrary, my skin was smooth and it looked more rejuvenated and awake.There is no strong scent to this serum and you only need to apply a little amount, because due to its consistency it spreads easily and covers a lot of skin.This absorbs almost instantly and doesn't leave an oily glow behind.I have a sensitive skin and I haven’t had any adverse reactions when using it so I can say it will be ok to use even if you have a sensitive skin.Happy wife, happy life is what I have to say to this :)

Clarins box arrived with lid open and did not have usual cellophane round box as it looks like it has already been opened, which was very disappointing considering the cost. It is a present and doesn’t look good without cellophane.
Light, Luxurious Serum
This Clarins Double Serum is so luxurious and works well on my skin. It comes in a nice spray bottle. The sprayer locks, which is great for travel, so you don't accidentally spill any. One spray is enough for my entire face. The serum itself is oily, but it absorbs really quickly. I use it once a day in the morning, right after I cleanse my face. It absorbs after a few seconds of massaging it into my skin, which I appreciate, so I can quickly move onto the next steps of my skincare routine. It doesn't make my face feel greasy, and it works well with my other skincare products. It also does not affect my makeup.The product has a noticeable floral fragrance; to me, it smells like roses. The smell fades after about ten minutes, but it's pretty strong at first, so you may not like it if you are sensitive to scents. I like the smell of it, though.I've been using this serum for several weeks, and I have noticed great results. It makes my skin look smoother and my pores appear smaller. I've never had many wrinkles, but in the past year, I have started to notice small wrinkles around my mouth. Those wrinkles have been less apparent since I've been using this product, which is probably my favorite thing about the serum. It also makes my skin feel more hydrated. It doesn't necessarily make my face dewy/glowy, but it does make my skin look healthier and more radiant overall.I think there are a lot of great serums out there that will moisturize your skin and increase radiance, but this one stands out to me for how well it reduces my wrinkles and just makes my skin look healthy. It's not a cheap product, but since I only need to use one spray once a day to see results, I think the 1 oz bottle will last me for a few months. I also don't feel the need to use as many other serums when I am using this, which also makes it a better value.
Good serum; strong fragrance
I see other reviews talking about how this product doesn't have as strong of a scent as other Clarins products. That may be true, but I still find this product to be quite heavily fragranced. It's not a deal-breaker for me, but it's very rose scented- much more than I'd prefer personally. I do like the way this product makes my skin feel- moisturized and firm. Time will tell if the benefits will last.
It's that price for a reason
I only have one small complaint about this product: the way it pumps the serum. Due to it being liquid, especially at its price, I feel like it can be tough to control the amount that comes out, so some of it can get wasted. Aside from that, I love this -- I can definitely see a difference. I have never found anything that reduces my pores like this! It's very noticeable, not just a small difference but a big one. My lines are far less prominent. It applies and absorbs into my skin so easily, and it ends up feeling and looking great.
Hydrating, and Uplifting
This is a skincare product I absolutely love. I even take the entire bottle with me on work road trips, which is rare for me. Luckily, it’s a compact bottle with a cool dispenser that locks into place, so it doesn’t spill. The serum gives my combination skin a long-lasting, hydrating glow that I love. It also has a fragrance I enjoy, which lifts my spirits every time I apply it. It feels great, smells wonderful, and enhances the look of my skin. A little goes a long way, but sometimes I use a bit more because it just feels and smells so good!
Anti Aging?
I’ve been using for three weeks and honestly haven’t noticed any improvement in skin firmness and wrinkles. It does provide hydration which is good. I’ve been primarily using around my mouth and eyes which are my major wrinkle areas. A little goes a long way and the bottle is great for dispensing small amounts so product is not wasted. It has a slight fragrance that is not unpleasant. I’m over 60, so product may prove more effective on someone younger. Due to the cost and my results, I will not be reordering.
