I had been having some trouble with an HDMI cable connecting my DVR to the TV. About 50% of the time, when switching inputs back from the TV's home screen to the DVR, the signal would not be recognised and all I would get was a blank screen, and I would have to reach round the back of the DVR and pull out the HDMI cable and reinsert it to force a signal change. I thought that perhaps the HDMI cable was bad, or just cheap and not up to spec, so I got this one to test out and see if it made any difference. Well, it definitely has. Since installing this cable to replace the old one I haven't had one single instance of the signal from the DVR not being recognised by the TV input. Now, there's no anxiety when switching back and forth between TV inputs, wondering if the DVR was going to come up blank and I'd have to go digging around behind it to fiddle with the cable. This cable works perfectly and does what it says it's supposed to.

The Looyotul 8k HDMI Cable is a nice, braided cable with metal plugs, that feels nice put of the packet and appears to be of good quality. I am not in a position to test it's claimed 8K capabilities, as my TV is 'only' 4K, but on that device at least, playing a UHD Blu-Ray f4rom my Sony player, the pictures are as crisp as deep you could wish for, and the sound via my Onkyo 7.1 amp is superb. The plugs are Gold, but that is for aesthetics only, as the information is carried via the internal pins alone (the outer bit is just reinforcement) but it gives an air of quality and attention to detail. The braid is heavy and feels like it will last, and the price is very good indeed. I have no doubt that it is made to a price, hence the low RRP, but for any modest setup it should perform admirably.

This cable replaces a very old cable going from Xbox to an LG 4K tv. The old cable had become temperamental, and as the TV and Xbox are not close together, we wanted a longer cable so we could 'hide' it easier than the 1.5m cable this one replaces.Firstly, the quality of this cable's construction is very good. The braided outer is strong, yet still more flexible than the cable this replaces, so that's great. ANd the gold plated plugs have a really positive hold in the sockets of both the TV and Xbox, which is good.The cable seems to have unlocked additional settings on the TV also, which were not there before, and the quality is literally night and day. This cable has not only replaced a rather temperamental lead, but also provided an upgrade.For less than £7, this is a total no-brainer, and highly recommended.

2M long HDMI 2.1 cable, 8K @ 60HZ 4K @ 120HZ rated @ 48gbps.I tested this cable on my Xbox SX and PS5 both tests were at 4K 60HZ and 4K 120HZ.Both consoles were excellent at 4K 60HZ with a solid and stable image, Xbox SX was solid and stable @ 4K 120HZ but my PS5 was less stable @ 4K 120HZ with very infrequent black screens and I do mean infrequent, I'm not saying it was the fault of the cable as my PS5 can be a bit temperamental depending on the HDMI cable used so I would just look at the Xbox results TBH but I wanted to mention it anyway.I must admit I was not expecting a cable at such a low a price as this cable ( £4.99 at the time of writing for a 2m cable ) to be as good as it is and must say I'm impressed by it's quality.The HDMI cable has a very nice braided outer cover and the HDMI plugs were smooth when inserting them into both my PS5 and Xbox SX HDMI ports, the plugs had a very firm/solid feeling connection, the cable plugs included dust caps, The plug casing has "UHD 8K HDMI 2.1" info clearly printed which IMO is very valuable to have so you can keep track of what the cables specs is, so many times I have retrieved a cable from a draw and ended up scratching my head because I did not know the specs.Note, I was not able to test the 8K specs as I don't have any 8K equipment, sorry about that.So IMHO a super value cable that punches above it's weight considering the low price.Well worth the 5 stars I'm giving it.

I tested this on a PS4 connecting to an e-arc socket on a Sony TV and it does not disappoint. The PS4 is activated by selecting the appropriate external source within the TV menu and the picture and sound are first rate. The cable is strong and braided in design giving it grip and strength. I’m happy with the cable.
Best Hdmi log cable
The cable is very rugged. I had to string the 40ft cable thru the attic and it worked well when connected.
