A few years ago a cable like this would have been well over £10.00, the odd thing is the cables aren't "cheap" in terms of quality or materials, any more than they were then, but rather as demand has increased the perceived exclusivity has greatly reduced so the artificially inflated prices ceased to be sustainable.This is a perfectly good cable that does all that it's supposed to, it may not be as cosmetically attractive as some over priced cables that in every way apart from appearance are essentially identical but it does the job just as well.The PVC sleeve is sturdy enough to protect it from knocks and pinching, it forces slightly longer curves which prevent kinks and damage to the inner insulation.The plugs are a good fit, not so tight that they may damage the sockets but not loose enough to be shaken or pulled out easily.All in all a good quality inexpensive cable that dispenses with the cosmetic frippery and just provides a good length of cable that does the job properly for not a lot of money.

This looyotul ultra-high speed 8k HDMI cable is three metres long which can be quite useful, stretching between desks so that you can share video on monitors on neighbouring desktops or you can run a cable out to a projector.The cable outer layer is tough rubber and at each end, the cable strain relief mouling is moulded into the plug and the cable so that it is quite strong. The plug itself has a metal shell around it to prevent cross-talk and make it tougher.The plugs at both ends have gold-plated contacts and shielding so they will not corrode and by not having a metal oxide layer on the surface, the connection has a lower noise level.This HDMI cable is a useful length and has gold plated contacts for a long life.

This cable is great value (at the time of review). I ordered the 1m cable, and many longer lengths ar available. For the price, build quality is fine - reasonable protection on the cable and the connector joins. I'm only using mine at 4K/50Hz, and in that set up (between a satellite STB and AVR) it works fine. It is rated for use up to 8K/60Hz. I'm not using the eARC functionality, and did read a review mentioning a problem with that - so if you need that feature it would be worth testing it straight away. Overall - a decent budget cable.

Running a dual monitor system from my PC and have been having glitches on and off for the last 2 weeks. I only need a short HDMI connection, so the Looyotul 8K data cable was the ideal length for my purposes at 1 metre. The cables appear to be on offer from lengths of 1 metre to 30 metres, so there’s plenty of scope here to satisfy most connection scenarios.These are not the usual braided cord you tend to see nowadays, however, the rubber sheath is every bit as robust and pliable as its equivalents. With 3 layers of shielding and gold plated connectors, the HDMI cable delivered a good crisp and clear image for my second monitor.In summary, no complaints from me on this one and at a retail price of just a penny shy of £3.50, what’s not to like.

For under four quid for the metre long cable it works ok. It's a bit cheap and cheerful but picture and sound is fine. I can't vouch for the 8K claims but standard HDMI is fine.Quality is quite cheap, and the packaging has loosely translated english on it with glaring errors, but it does work ok.For a cheap cable it's fine for HDMI.
