The only thing that would have made this perfect in my opinion would have been a carry case...For the price here I really think we are getting our money's worth. The build quality and feel of this definitely feels premium. The main body of it has that lovely smooth and protective snooth rubber finish. I'm not sure exactly what it is but I've felt it on other premium products and it's just so nice to touch.This was so easy to connect by just holding down the Bluetooth button and my phone found it straight away. It's worth noting, even though this is rechargeable, I did have to plug in the power cable to turn it on for the first time. It came charged but, like other products like this it did need to be plugged in on first use.The base on this is really heavy. In general it's a bit heavier than I like, but they have done it well. No distortion at all even at higher volumes, and this goes REALLY loud.The best feature is the fact that it's not required to have to be on a flat surface to get the best sound. The base isn't affected like many on the market and that's really noticeable.The battery life is great for a full day out and it's small enough and light enough to fit in any bag.The fact this is usable pretty much anywhere in any weather really sets it apart, especially when you pair it with the overall quality. It's not gimmicky at all... They have thought of everything and just done it well.

This Bose SoundLink Bluetooth Speaker is by far the best portable speaker I have ever come across. It is compact and lightweight (0.6kg), so it can easily be clipped onto/tucked inside your backpack. This speaker has a rechargeable battery that can sustain up to 12 hrs playtime. To enable it to excel in the portable speaker category, it is not only IP67 waterproof, rust resistant and dust proof, but also has some extra durability and withstands the typical drops and shocks a portable device will endure.In terms of sound quality, it brings a surprisingly loud and bold, but clear and balanced tone to any event, with a deep punchy bass despite its compact design. With the Bose App installed, I can adjust the EQ easily in the app to finetune the speakers to the sound quality that I prefer. I have used this speaker for soft instrumental music, strong bass, audiobooks, and podcasts. It has never let me down since I can always adjust the sound to meet my exact requirements, whether for a noisy party or myself in quiet surroundings. Connecting and switching between Bluetooth devices is quick and seamless. In addition, it is interesting to know that this speaker is able to sync with other speakers within the SoundLink lineup. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to try this function yet.

When I received this speaker, my first thought was how small it is. However, as it's Bose that didn't really concern me. Turning it on out of the box, the speaker announced that the battery was at 30% - enough for a test. In terms of connecting to my phone, the phone located the speaker without my needing to search for it, and connected first time.If you don't already have any Bose products, downloading the app makes a real difference to the usability of the speaker - in this case mainly with the equaliser (which makes a noticeable difference to the sound).It doesn't come with any instructions, but that's not really a problem because it's very straightforward to use. The controls are conveniently placed on top and very obvious. The speaker is covered in a sort of rubberised material and looks like it would be reasonably weatherproof (although I'm not intending to use mine outside).Sound quality from one speaker is excellent with a good level of control through the app. I was surprised just how good the sound is given the size of the speaker - it is room filling with deep bass, and good mid and high range responses (but that will be at least partly dependent on your source). However, what I like is that two can be joined together to give a true stereo sound. (As I only have one, I can't comment on how well that works).The listing states "optimal sound in any position". I would dispute that - this sounds at its best by far hanging freely in space (which is simple to do thanks to the nylon loop). That's just me being picky though.Overall I am very, very pleased with this speaker and when I have the money I may well come back for a second one to allow them to be used in stereo. This is well worth the cost - I've tried plenty of Bluetooth speakers ranging from the very cheap to the reasonably expensive, but in terms of value for money, this is by far the best, even outperforming some more expensive speakers.
Big Bose sound, small sleek package!
The Bose name is synonymous with excellent audio quality, and they have proven that once again with the SoundLink Flex Gen 2! The audio quality is superior to any other portable speaker I own or have heard recently. The highs are crisp, the bass is punchy and the mids are mid! You can really crank the volume up too and be met with little distortion. The Bluetooth is amazing, as the speaker is abler to store multiple connections at a time and switching between them is a breeze. I had previously set up my phone and TV to play audio through the speaker, so within seconds I am able to switch between the two quickly and effortlessly! The speaker is also rated against water and dust, so you don't have to be afraid to take it on you r next outdoor adventure, even if that is just in your backyard. The design of the speaker is sleek and modern, but is constructed heavy duty and durable, and it certainly has some weight to it, considering its size. That's not to say it's not easy to carry around because it is, especially with the aid of the built in strap. Overall, I think Bose hit a homerun with this speaker as I can't find a single thing to complain about. Even the battery outperforms any speaker I currently own, leading to hours of uninterrupted play time. I highly recommend this speaker and I am sure to enjoy mine for many years to come!
SoundLink Flex Gen 2
Received 2 Alpine Sage Gen2 Flex yesterday and spent time with it. I already have 2 Flex Gen1. Comparing the both in stereo mode is pretty much the same but I do notice more clarity and stability with the Gen2. Probably because of the Bluetooth 5.3.....The best thing is Bose FINALLY addessed the biggest issue ....THE APP! Now it's the Bose app and it's flawless. In stereo mode, you simply press the shortcut button on each and voila...there's also a long awaited EQ and it's subtle adjustments NOT agressive changes.Definately now playing in the big leagues with this much needed upgrade that only improved what was already steller performance and keeping the same price.I also have the JBL Charge 5 and it's better to my ears easily. Depends on what your looking for. Best sound in this category hands down just got a turbo!!
Great sound, clarity and adequate volume
It’s wonderful, great sound, clarity, easy connection to a phone and I wa also able to use it as a speakerphone for Zoom calls
Excellente enceinte
J'avais déjà une autre enceinte de super qualité d'une autre marque mais cette enceinte Bose SoundLink Flex 2 m'a épaté .Elle est petite et légère mais a un super son, avec des bonnes basses et le son est magnifique , vraiment à la première utilisation j'ai été sous le choc de la qualité du son.Le son reste excellent même quand le volume est très très haut .Je l'ai laissé allumé une dizaine d'heure après une charge complète et aucun souci , elle aurait même encore tenue plus longtemps, elle tient donc très bien la charge et promet des très longues heures de musique sans être branchée.Une superbe enceinte d'excellente qualité , elle est super.

Sound is good and clear base perhaps don’t expect deepest base like we experience with ultra quite comfort earpods..although considering bluetooth speaker its good to buy during discounts atleast
