Bought for my nephew who is a mad football fan, he has all the kit, several balls, and pop up posts so was at a loss what to get him. This is a great gift - doubles up as a comforting nightlight for nervous sleepers but has the 'cool' factor as you can change the colour and turn on and off by remote. It does need to plug into a socket as it is not battery powered and the cable supplied isn't very long, but that is the only downside! Although it should also be noted that the football is flat - when lit up it looks 3D ish but it is just an illusion.

I don't often leave reviews but had to with this, it's lovely for Halloween, what struck me most was the quality very well made l have a few light ups (diffrent occasions) but this base is the best yet highly recommend xx

I gave this to my son’s friends and they loved it so I would recommend as a gift for someone’s birthday.

This is brand new out the box and it turned on and looks great my boys love it. Then it just doesn’t turn on, this is plugged in by the usb and everything is connected and it just doesn’t turn on. I even tried the remote and that doesn’t want to do it either. I unplug it and start again and after a few attempts it works again. Then I turn it off and go back to it and it’s not working again. Nice idea but doesn’t seem to actually work
