    I resisted buying one of these on the lead up to our son being born. Overpriced, unnecessary, will cause more anxiety than it solves. After we both laid awake the first night, listening for signs he was alright, getting up to check when it had been 5 minutes without a snuffle or a “eh”, I changed my mind.This thing is incredible. You’ve got to make sure it’s fitted well, or it might get a weak reading and give you a small heart attack (just once, and it was my fault!), but that slow pulsing green light on the base station as you blink your sleepy eyes is the most comforting sight you’ll ever see. You can’t put a price on peace of mind, though admittedly, Owlet have given it a good go! Worth. Every. Penny.

    A lot of money but peace of mind is worth so much more. As a premature baby mum and being in NICU for 10 weeks I needed something to calm my anxiety as my boy was hooked up to machines the whole time and the comfort of knowing if something goes wrong I will know

    There is no straightforward way to connect it to wifi, the app is very slow freezing multiple times. I had to contact support or return itAn UPDATE!Finally, I was able to set up it , the app is extremely buggy !Based on the following issues, I assume the product is either faulty or, if this is the way it works, then it is absolutely useless and goes against its advertisement that says parents get better sleep. Instead, I get much, much, much less sleep because of loads of false yellow alarms coming from the base during the night.While the base and the smart sock on the baby are less than 2-3 meters apart, during the night we randomly get multiple yellow alerts regarding difficulty reading the sensor or Bluetooth (BT) connectivity issues (the range between the base and sock is very close so very strange), and then it goes back to normal again! I cannot find a way to mute these kinds of notifications from the base and mobile app during the night, which causes a lot of disruption to our sleep. I had to completely shut down the base to get sleep! It seems the sock has become useless.Can you advise what is the solution to these issues?1- Why do I randomly get a yellow warning regarding difficulty reading (it can read again shortly after 2-3 warnings)?2-Why does the BT randomly disconnect, and again I get those annoying yellow warnings during the night? A nightmare! (It comes back again shortly after 2-3 warnings)3-How can I mute the yellow warning notifications on the base or mobile app? those false alarms are very annoying.

    A chew on to get set up but worth it. Gives you a great peace of mind that the child is being monitored. We are first time parents so everything is new to us, so having the information to hand and being able to review it is great. Would I recommend, Yes. Would I buy again of course. I couldn’t put a price on my child’s life.

    Doesn't work on 5GHz WifI networks (doesn't tell you this anywhere in the product description) and most wifi networks nowadays will use 5GHz. Some providers don't allow you to change this and a lot of people simply won't know how.Also doesn't work in the UK, even though it gives you the option to choose UK as a region. The base station didn't connect after 20 attempts and the setup process is overly complicated and buggy. Save your money and get something else tbh.

    Poor product. Low quality app. Constantly disconnects from the sock, the base station and the WiFi. It gives a false sense of security.

    For the price I'm not sure it's the best bang for your buck but it does provide peace of mind. We noticed our baby's S02 levels would sometimes read low then spike but looks like the reading might be faulty. Nice to track baby's sleep and to see when he's waking or being fussy. Often the app is quicker than our baby monitor in alerting us.

    Intente mil formas de registrarlo con la única aplicación de la marca disponible en Mexico y no pude. Este producto no funciona en Mexico. Trate inclusive con una cuenta de iphone de Estados Unidos para poder descargar la aplicación de alla, la cual es distinta, y tampoco pude registrarlo. El soporte del producto solo te lo dan si estas en Estados Unidos. Perdida de tiempo.

    Funktioniert sehr zuverlässig . Auch wenn das wlan mal ausfällt, kann man sich darauf verlassen, dass das Kind weiter überwacht wird. Bereitet uns einen besseren Schlaf, da man nicht ständig in Sorge ist, ob es dem Kind auch gut geht.
