I ordered this gutter cleaning kit as my parents have moved into a bungalow in a remote area, they are struggling to find anyone who is able or willing to clean gutters, and due to having a lot of trees in the garden they really will need to have the gutters regularly cleaned.It arrives with the cleaning head and 5 extensions, one of which has the handle attached. It's sturdy and easy to put together, as well as being versatile in terms of what length you need. Once screwed together it's quite stable, although I can imagine if you have to use the full length it would be very heavy, and hard to handle, three extensions was heavy for me to use.As far as performance goes I was impressed, it cleared the leaves and moss from the gutters, although I do think you need to be level with the gutter to do the job properly, I'm not sure how well it would work if you were using it from the ground.Overall for my requirements it worked very well, I will no doubt be using it again , and it stores away neatly in the box it arrived in, so I'm happy to recommend it.

I wanted this to clear a gutter that regularly blocks. This worked perfectly, but note that I'm using this from a 2nd floor window that is above the gutter and looks out along the length that I need to clear. I've previously tried clearing this with a bamboo pole with a spoon taped to the end, which wasn't ideal! If you've a similar configuration then this is great. Obviously though you can't use this from ground level and reach up into a gutter above you. You have to be level with or above the level of the gutter you want to clear. And it was quick and easy, plus I scraped some moss off the roof as well.The poles screw together well - one end is slightly wider than the other, so you slot them togther and then screw them into place. The poles are light enough that I could support the entire length while stretching out of the window. There is only a little flex, it's quite rigid. The plastic scraper section is stronger and more robust than I was expecting. And narrow enough to slide along our gutter even though roof tiles are overhanging slightly.

At £19 it’s a budget item really and works ok depending on your needs. At around 8 foot long at full extent it’s a bit wobbly and you will need to get up quite high to use it on the average house. It will work best if you are at the level of the gutter, so if you are working off a ladder it lets you extend the reach along the length of the gutter before you need to move it. It may work well for a bungalow though from the ground but anything above the single storey you will still need to break the extension ladder out.

Gutter cleaning is one of the jobs we talk about and never get round to, and to be honest it’s quite hard if you don’t have the proper tools. This isn’t bad at all, it’s lightweight and easy to put together as you just slot in and twist the bars. The plastic hook thing at the top is okay, not the best quality as the plastic gets scuffed easily and won’t last forever, the instructions are… interesting! But it was easy to use although you will need a ladder. Not just a step ladder, a big one. It actually did remove quite a lot of dirt out the gutter though which I was very pleased with! So I guess no excuses now except getting over my fear of heights.

Review of ## IHKFILAN Gutter Cleaning Tools, Telescopic Gutter Cleaner, 94.49 in ##Good long length to this and it comes in enough pieces to be easily stored.Does the job well and the "spade" part is great for removing gutter debris.The other side of the end is too heavy and awkward to use.It does the job but I think it would be better if it just had the "spade" end and if the angle of the spade could be changed.

I live in a cottage with a road that passes within a foot of the building and so putting ladders up to clean the gutters is akin to risking your life. I hoped this kit would allow me to stand below and manoeuvre moss and debris from the gutters but, once assembled fully, it is a bit too cumbersome to operate accurately. If it had an angled attachment I could use it from a bedroom window but it just does not work that way. If you can get the height to use it horizontally I suspect this device is very beneficial!

A very handy tool for cleaning out the gutters. It comes in pieces so you have to screw the pole ends together, it won’t fit up to a 2 storey house but will for a single storey. Very strong pieces and very well made for the task in hand.
