    My old toaster died after 23 years of use , so replaced it with this great toaster, arrived a day early , plus easy set up , I like that you can review toast while cooking without turning if the heat . Made my first toast just now brilliant, very good buy

    I have been using Russell Hobbs products for a while now and these usually last a long time and have pretty good quality overall. Therefore when looking for a new toaster, this was an easy choice for me. This 2 slice toaster is well made and looks very stylish with a black and chrome finish. It is also not too big in size and does not take too much space on my kitchen's worktop.I am also very pleased with its ability to toast consistently every time. The controls are very easy and intuitive too. I also like the wide opening for each of the toasting slot so suitable not only for thick bread slices but also bagels. There is also a lever on the side that can be pulled up to see the toasting progress without disturbing the timer which I think is quite handy. The bottom tray can be removed to throw away crumbs for easy cleaning. In terms of its price, it is fairly reasonable so offers good value in my opinion.All in all, this is a very well made and practical toaster. Would definitely recommend and rate it as 5 stars.

    This is a classic, neat, little two-slice toaster from Russell Hobbs. The quality is on par for a Russell Hobbs small electrical appliance. It looks smart and takes up only a little of the kitchen countertop.There is a cord wind on the bottom of the toaster to allow you to use as much of the cord as needed. The sides are an attractive brushed stainless steel. There are three buttons - one for reheating, one for frozen and one to pop up your toast before the end of time. There is a brown-level dial and a lift lever. When in use, the toaster works just as expected, browning the toast evenly.I especially like the ability to lift the raiser lever at any point during the toasting process and it won't interrupt the timer so you can have a little peep at how your toast is coming along. I've never seen this function before and think it's a great little feature that all toasters should have!The problem came for us with the height of the slots. The slots are not as long or deep as our previous toaster so the bread we like to use (see photo) wouldn't fit properly. It may be okay with slightly smaller rectangular bread and would definitely be fine with standard bread.With its simple buttons and small size, I know my elderly mother will find this toaster a delight as it will suit her needs perfectly.

    I've been using the Russell Hobbs 2 Slice Toaster Classics for a while now, and I'm thoroughly impressed. The build quality is excellent, with the brushed stainless steel giving it a sleek and durable feel. It’s easy to use, with intuitive controls and clearly marked settings.The toaster works well, delivering consistent results every time. The wide slots accommodate various bread sizes, and the six browning levels allow for precise control. The "Lift & Look" feature is particularly handy, as is the high lift function for safely retrieving smaller slices. Overall, a fantastic toaster that does the job perfectly.

    This is a great two slice toaster, easy to operate and doesn't take too much room up on your kitchen worktop. Looks really nice with the satin steel outer and seems very well made. Just about takes UK sized bread slices and works well with thick slices too. Didn't get wither undercooked toast or burnt either!Overall this is great value and I am now looking at purchasing the matching kettle too.

    I don't know anybody who doesn't love a new toaster! I seem to go through loads of toasters? I just like them when they are spanking new.This is a reasonable weight item, ususal features and toasts my toast.What I liked was the build. There wasn't too much chrome for me to be obsessing about polishing. The outer casing is a nice brushed sort of steel effect with is smooth, I'm a bit fussy on the smoothness.This suits my new Russell Hobbs kettle (different than in the picutres).
