This will be about 20 full loads of washing for me as I have a 10kg washing machine and sizes given for a 5kg machine.But it’s good value.On opening the washing machine - you get a gentle floral scent, and once the clothes come out of the tumble drier the clothes do hold some scent.I don’t find the scent as strong as other scents in this brand - but it’s still nice.We are 2 adults and 2 teens, who work out and exercise so clothes get quite smelly and sweaty. I don’t use fabric conditioner - so it’s nice these leave clothes scented and smelling fresh.Bottle and cap both recyclable - would recommend.

Oftentimes I review products that are unfamiliar to me. This time though is the complete opposite. I have used not just the Surf brand before, but I have bought and used this specific Surf Tropical Lily variety before many times, although admittedly I would normally buy capsules rather than this liquid detergent, so I guess that's something new at least!With this being liquid detergent, you of course add it to your machine's drawer rather than placing it directly into the drum. Hey I know that may be a bit of a "duh!" thing to say but I've been using capsules for the last several years and just had to remind myself that it goes in the drawer! So in the drawer this Surf Tropical Lily detergent went for my washing this morning. The liquid is white, thick and fragrant. The mouth of the bottle is wide and pours easily - although you have to be careful not to pour too much (I'm sure they do this on purpose so you use more, run out quicker and have to buy more! Or perhaps I'm paranoid...).But look, as I said up top I have used Surf Tropical Lily before and as such I knew that I would be happy not just with the cleanness of my clothes post-wash but also the smell of them too, and happy I was this lunchtime as I took my clothes out of the washing machine. This is not the first time I have used Surf Tropical Lily and it will likely not be the last. I could go on waxing lyrical but in all honesty the fact that I've bought it before and would 100% buy it again should be testament enough. I see no reason why anyone would be unhappy with Surf Tropical Lily variety.

Surf laundry detergent does a fantastic job at keeping my clothes clean and smelling fresh. The scent is quite intense, which I personally love, and it lasts on clothes for a long time, even after days in the wardrobe. It’s perfect if you like your laundry to smell really fresh for an extended time. The detergent also handles stains well, and I’ve had no issues with any fabric types so far. If you’re after a strong, long-lasting fragrance with reliable cleaning power, Surf is a great choice!

I ordered this Surf Tropical Lily laundry detergent to try something new. The bottle holds just under 1L and lasts for about 35 washes, which is decent for the price. Do bear in mind it doesn't come with a measuring cup, so you’ll need to have one on hand to avoid using too much (or you can just use the cap, though keep in mind its not graded).The scent is incredibly strong and fills the house with a fresh tropical fragrance. After two loads, I noticed that the smell lingered for a long time. Unfortunately, my partner wasn’t a fan of the intensity and mentioned that as the laundry dried, it had a damp, almost mouldy smell (though I personally didn't share the sentiment).If you're sensitive to strong scents, this may not be for you, but it could work if you like fragrances that last for days or even weeks.

Unlike most products on here, most people are already going to be familiar with Surf branded products, so there is not too much point going over it again.First impressions of this are good, this is a 945ml product, and gives 35 washes if you use exactly 27ml per wash. Measuring out 27ml exactly however is never going to be easy, so your mileage will vary.Wash results are decent at 30c I've found, comparable with pretty much any other brand. The tropical scent is very strong when you smell the bottle, but only mild post wash, esp if you use a separate fabric conditioner too.Overall at £5 this is more or less the same you'll find in the supermarket, so nothing not to like, just comes down to your preference for the scent.
