5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality Japanese green tea
This is really delicious green tea. It comes with a JAS mark, which is a Japanese government seal of approval indicating that the product meets a strict set of standards for the quality of agricultural products produced within Japan. The tea itself is really great, but you will need a proper, hopefully Japanese, teapot to brew it properly. If you have one of those, then you are going to get some really good tea out of this powder.
1.0 out of 5 stars Bad quality
Worst tasting green tea I ever had in a long time. I would consider if it was £0.99. Also, I’m biased because I grew up drinking good teas.
5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect level of bitterness for me
Both green tea & matcha are an acquired taste so it’s not for everyone, however I really enjoy both. This tea is simple to make, just 1 teaspoon in my little teapot, you should recently boiled water to allow the temperature to drop to 70-80c and leave too steep for about a minute. It is recommended for less time, but I found the flavour a little weak for a shorter period. This tea has a nice refreshing flavour without the overpowering bitter taste that you can get from this ingredient’s combination. The colour is a very vivid green, almost luminous and the aroma is light & fresh. If you like Green Tea & Matcha, then I would recommend this.
