It may not be the most attractive sock dryer in existence but I have to say I absolutely prefer it to others I've had in the past, which were plastic and inevitably discoloured and went brittle and cracked. The hook is tall enough that you can hang it off the top of a doorjamb. With 40 pegs, it fits a lot - having said that it is very compact, so I would recommend hanging it somewhere that gets good air flow if you're using it indoors, or occupying just half the pegs, otherwise items will struggle a bit to dry.

This clothes dryer is made of metal and so is a massive upgrade to the typical plastic pegs dryers I've used before.We've gone through several plastic dryers in recent years as they don't last very well - deteriorating quickly under sunlight, becoming brittle and snapping. I've patched a few up with DIY fixes but even the good ones don't last long.I was therefore keen to try this all-metal design.First impressions are that the dryer is not very aesthetic. It's not the prettiest thing to look at.The quality is also a little below what I was hoping, for example, when you squeeze a peg half of your effort is used bending the metal of the pegs rather than causing the peg spring to open up.The dryer is sized at around 28 cm x 35 cm and has 39 pegs.However, overall the fact that it should last a LOT longer than plastic equivalents is a massive plus and even better it's around the same price as most of its plastic equivalents too.Therefore, 4 stars from me. For five stars the design could be a bit nicer and the metal used a bit stronger - it's a bit strange too that the top arms are smaller than the peg holder bars as they are taking more weight overall. However, it is sturdy enough to cope with a full rack of socks.

This is great if you don't have a lot of line space, or you want to hang things to dry indoors when the weather is bad.I've had a similar plastic one for ages but a few of the clip springs have broken over time so I was due an upgrade!This Stainless Steel version shouldn't rust, it feels well made and the clips hold items securely.I can get a pair of children's socks in one clip or smaller items like pants and vest tops, anything bigger like a hand towel you just use a couple of the clips.Great item for small houses and students.

This is a good dryer for socks and other small items. Made of stainless steel, it is a bit more 'wiry' than I expected, but it does feel reasonably solid. I like the stainless steel. There are 40 hooks on here, which depending on how you wanna do it, it 20 pairs of socks or 40 individually hung ones - because the pegs are quite close together, I might suggest hanging items individually unless its a pretty windy day, to allow air to properly circulate. It gets a bit dense otherwise. The pegs will however that double thickness material if you want to hang more.I found the pegs a little tricky. I think it's because they are more wiry than having a solid pad to push. However once you have the knack it works well.This is a good space-saver. It could easily be hung over a shower rail; the middle hook is a clever device which can either have a safe catch, to stop it blowing too much outdoors, or no safety catch in place, for indoor use.I confess I have a different style of dryer that looks a bit like an octopus which I love, so this type was going to have to go some to compete. For me, I still prefer the other, but this one can pack your washing more tightly and will match any decor. Seems sturdy too.Four stars.

got this metal sock dryer to replace my old plastic one and it’s way sturdier. The clips are super strong, maybe even better than wooden pegs, and it holds up well even for things like shoes. It's really handy for socks and hankies since air flows nicely around them. The safety feature on the hook is useful, so no worries about it falling off the line.Downside? It’s not the nicest-looking and could be made with stronger metal. But it’s a massive upgrade from plastic ones, and at just £9.98, I’m happy with it!

Price at review: £9.98This is great. I've had plastic ones before but this one is much stronger. The clips work really well and I've even hung shoes off this to dry after being out in the rain. It had no problem with it.It says its folding but the only bit that folds is the hanger part on top, so it goes flat but it doesn't fold up any more than that.Its a great item though and is about the classiest way to have your wet socks hanging around the house!

This sock dryer rack came well packaged and I personally think it is a well thought out product. It is easily foldable and can be hung up when you wish to use it. There are 40 pegs so you can hang up about 20 pairs of socks in the dangling hooks that have been provided within a small space. The sizing is perfect as you can move it around your home or hang it up in your garden or wherever you wish as it is small and compact.One thing I would like to say is that, I may have preferred it more if the rack was made out of plastic as stainless steel and metal products tend to get rusty after continuous use and wear and tear, so I am quite worried with water getting on it. If the rack was made out of plastic, then the chance of this happening would have been pretty much eliminated. Regardless, this is a great product and it works really well.

We live next to a state forest in a cool, mountainous area, and have been hanging clothing inside for most of the year. We have a small fleet of those foldable hanging racks, some wood and others metal, but they tend to get in the way when deployed. Plus, they are getting old and ricketier!We have therefore migrated to better ways to hang laundry. We hang shirts on over-the-door flip-down thingies that have space for a half-dozen shirts on hangars, a pull-out drying rack attached to the wall in a place where there is room and a rolling cart with over-and-under hanging poles that can be wheeled into the laundry room when not in use. But socks seem to take over some drying bars, hence selecting this item, which we have not seen before.This thing is pretty clever! With 40 clips available it holds socks or other small garments in a way that allows room air to circulate around them better than hanging them on a drying rod. You can clip one edge of the sock, so it hangs open and not squished together like on a drying rod.The whole contraption can be hung on a clothesline or wherever convenient and takes up a lot less space than the typical drying rack. In our case, we hang it on a shower curtain rod in the bathroom where the drips land on tile or inside the shower stall.Constructed from stainless steel, which is rust/corrosion-resistant, it should last pretty near forever. The clips are well-made, and the springs appear to be robust enough to withstand repeated use.This device is well-designed and constructed, and a decent find at $10. It makes washday easier!

Hier bekommt man einen nützlichen Helfer für die Wäsche.Dieser Socken-/Kleinteilehalter ist aus Edelstahl und 27,5 x 35,5 cm groß. Er hat 40 Klemmen, die echt gut halten. Ist minimal fummelig, wenn man die Klammern drückt und die z. B. Socken aufhängt, aber man findet seinen Flow.Durch die starke Federspannung ist der Ständer aber Wind-/und Sturmfest. Dazu kann man am Aufhänger noch einen anhängenden Ring um den Haken klappen. So hält der Trockner auf der Leine, ohne runter zu fallen.Der Hänger dreht sich auch um 360°, was eine Trocknung rundherum ermöglicht.Mir gefällt hier am meisten, dass er so kompakt ist und sich auch behangen schnell und einfach transportieren lässt, z. B. wenn es anfängt zu regnen oder wenn die Wäsche trocken ist.Die Nutzung ist easy und Platz sparend.Vor allem aber: KEIN PLASTIK! Das geht im Laufe der Zeit in der Sonne kaputt.Ich bin ein riesiger Fan! Zum innen oder außen Trocknen Daumen hoch!
Stendibiancheria in acciaio: robusto, funzionale e duraturo
Ho acquistato questo stendibiancheria in acciaio e devo dire che sono davvero soddisfatta. Cercavo da tempo una soluzione resistente e finalmente l'ho trovata. In passato ho sempre usato i classici stendini in plastica, ma con l’esposizione al sole e al freddo si rompevano puntualmente dopo pochi anni. Questo modello, invece, è interamente realizzato in acciaio inox, sia per la struttura che per le mollette, il che lo rende estremamente robusto e adatto all'uso all'esterno, anche in condizioni atmosferiche avverse.Le dimensioni (35,5x27,5 cm) sono perfette per piccoli capi come calzini, intimo e guanti, e le 40 mollette in acciaio tengono tutto in modo saldo e sicuro.Rispetto ai vecchi modelli in plastica, questo è decisamente più resistente e sembra destinato a durare a lungo.Un altro vantaggio è la compattezza: è facile da spostare e si può appendere anche in spazi ristretti. Assegno volentieri 5 stelle su 5. Se proprio si vuole trovare un difetto è che le mollette sono un po' dure, ma è un'inezia superabile.In definitiva, è un prodotto ben fatto, resistente e molto funzionale, con un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Se state cercando uno stendino che duri nel tempo, questo è quello giusto.
Ideal para extender tu tendedero
Muchas veces me quedaba con ropa en el cesto que no me cabía en el tendedero, sobre todo ropa pequeña tipo ropa interior, calcetines, etc. Esto ya no me pasa gracias a este producto.Lo puedes colgar del tendedero y tiene numerosas pinzas de metal para poder colgar prendas pequeñas como lo dicho anteriormente o ropita de bebé. A mí me ha resultado muy útil porque es lo que necesitaba.Lo puedes guardar tal y como viene y ocupa muy poco espacio.Eso sí, hay algo que no entendí de la descripción que es lo siguiente: "Secado eficiente: este secador de calcetines utiliza circulación de aire caliente para secar rápida y completamente los calcetines húmedos después del lavado." No sé a qué se refiere con el aire caliente puesto que no tiene nada adicional que emita aire.Aún así, lo recomiendo 100% y por ello le pongo 5 estrellas.
