5.0 out of 5 stars Good compromise on performance and price
I like these more than my current Bose Quiet Comfort 2 ear buds. They sound better and the noise cancelling is at least as good as the QC 2. The Bose ANC is the best I've used so far (though I haven't as yet tried Sony earbuds). It's fun to put some loud aircraft cabin white noise on the stereo and feel the background noise but be able comfortably listen to music. The best sound quality for me is through a good pair of wired earbuds or headphones and normally that's what I use. When you're in a noisy environment though even the best passive isolation can't beat good ANC and that's where the QCE work so well. The case can sit on a flat surface with the lid open unlike the QC 2 case. The EQ is better than the QC2 giving a 5 point equaliser instead of 3. The sound quality is to my ears better than the QC 2 even without messing around with EQ. The buds seem larger but don't feel bulky in my ears and one advantage of a larger surface area for touch controls is that they seem to work better and more reliably. The app works a bit better than the QC2 app and so far connects perfectly each time (on Android that is, iPad connection is a bit flakey). The app could do with a hearing or fit test because both of those make a difference to sound quality and how well the ANC works. I know that QC 2 and QC Ultras are available at well under £300 but these QCE still undercut even discounted QC2. And that makes them a real bargain for me.

4.0 out of 5 stars Top noise cancelling
The Bose QuietComfort Wireless Noise-Cancelling Earbuds are some of the best options for in ear headphones especially if noise cancellation is a top priority. They come in the usual charging case that accepts USB-C and include 3 sizes of tips (medium fitted already) I found them a little fiddly to get good fit in my ears but to be honest I struggle with most in ears (I guess I have weird shaped inner ears) They have a slightly unusual design which means once fitted they offer a really good seal and have amazing noise cancellation (probably the best I have used) the sound quality is also very good with a slightly boosted bass and top end, I would have liked a bit richer smoother midrange as I listen to a lot of female vocals but I'm sure the tonal balance will suit others especially if you listen to more bass heavy recordings. The Bose app is quite comprehensive offering a fair bit of control and adjustment like being able to change what the controls on the earphones do (volume, answering calls, track skip etc) and also a EQ option for tweaking the sound.Bose claim 8.5 hours battery life which I haven't tested yet but I don't normally use them for really long periods and obviously they start recharging as soon as you put them in the case. The Bose Quietcomfort are very nice in ears and I would recommend you give them a go especially if the noise cancellation is important to you.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality ANC earphones.
When I first got these earphones I was a bit unsure if they were genuine because the packacking was just a cardboard sleeve over the box which you wouldn't expect from a pair of earphones in this price range. However, luckily it's what inside that counts the most!Onto the case, I found the case to be a good small size which fits perfectly in my pocket and it also houses the earbuds neatly and they're easy to put back in. My only issue is you can't easily tell how much charge is remaining in the case as there is no indication in the app to show the % remaining. There is an LED indication but I'd prefer the app to tell me the %. So far I haven't got to the point where its needed a charge and I've used them quite a bit on this one charge which has impressed me and I think it'd be great for commuters. The earbuds themselves are VERY comfortable, probably the most comfortable earbuds I've used. I have added an EQ to these earphones which is more like a V shape for higher bass and higher treble and they don't struggle with this. There is plenty of bass with punchy and low bass coming through well without drowning out the mids and highs meaning you get to hear plenty of detail in the sound.ANC is very good, I've been out on walks and on a bus with these and it's worked quite well but the only problem is when its a windy day as unfortunately I don't think there is a wind reduction setting in the app for these earbuds which distracts from the listening experience so keep this in mind. Touch controls work fine, single tap for pausing and double tap for going to the next track but you can customise this in the app.Overall, solid pair of earbuds, good sound with an impressive battery life.
Great Headphones
Bose introduces the QuietComfort Earbuds a wallet friendly option from a company known for making premier sound products. These earbuds pack a punch with their design, sound, and noise canceling capabilities. My favorite part of these earbuds is the fit. With multiple ear tips and wingtips sizes along with their lightweight design these earbuds are super comfortable and fit great. This leads into the next great point, they support a 8.5 hour battery life with ANC along with wireless charging. You can truly wear these all day because of how comfortable they are and how long the battery lasts. ANC on this product is amazing but my favorite way to wear them is in "Aware" mode. The new Bose app is super easy to use and provides the user with multiple customizations offers. Bose really created an excellent product which I would recommend to all my friends.
An upgrade for my Bose Ultra QC
No kidding! This is an upgrade for QC ultra except for Spatial features which is coming soon to this product in the next few days. To summarize these are the upgrades:*Wireless Charging Case*Multipoint bluetooth connection (easy to switch in each device)*New Apps with multiple new features*Voice assistant (Hey Headphones Take photo etc)*No lost connections*Improved noise cancelling*Cheaper price compared to Ultra*Battery much longer life than UltraAnd many more…
My favourites Bose
I never used to like Bose’ products due to less sound customisation. Initially wanted to go for AirPods Pro 2 but saw reviews from users and experts about these buds and decided to take a chance. To my surprise it met all the ticks which I was looking for. Great and crisp sound, equaliser customisation, perfect balance of mids, highs and customisable punchy bass which makes it my perfect companion. The app is nice and important features are maintained. The only regret is there’s no spatial sound feature and the app takes long time to connect to earbuds. Noise cancellation is amazing, but takes times to switch between transparency and NC mode. Bose should improve this app usability. Overall a best pair of earbuds and a must for music enthusiasts.
