This weed control fabric has been an absolute godsend! I used to spend hours weeding my flower beds, but this has made a huge difference. It's really easy to lay down, and it's strong enough to withstand being walked on. I've had it down for a few months now, and it's really kept the weeds at bay. My plants are thriving, and I'm no longer battling with those pesky weeds. It's also great value for money - the roll is a good size and will last me for ages. I'm so glad I bought this, it's made gardening so much more enjoyable!

I’ve used this for under the stones on my flowerbed to keep the weeds down and two strips overlaped along the back of my fence to try and keep my untidy neighbours weeds from coming through my fence. Still have loads left for other projects. Good quality. The black woven fabric is easy to cut with a sharp pair of scissors but it does fray a bit at the end, so I doubled it over and tried to cut it as straight as possible to avoid too much fraying.Happy customer.

If your garden is anything like ours you will have annoying weeds growing all over the place. You kill them off only for them to reappear again, or to show up in different places. BEEWAY have the solution.Cut the Heavy Duty Weed Control Fabric to your required size and insert it under stones, inside flower beds, artificial grass, patios, and greenhouses. Or use it for general gardening and landscaping. I will be using this 1m x 50m roll under some gravel at the back of my house.The material is echo friendly and chemical free. It promotes optimal growth for your plants, by ensuring soil health, allowing water, nutrients and air to pass through.UV stabilized to avoid UV bio-degradation from sunlight, this should last for years to come. Resistant to punctures and tears, it is also corrosion-resistant.Rake the area, cut and place the fabric around new or existing plants, anchor and secure with DeWitt Anchor Pin, cover with bark, mulch or stones. You're done!Difficult to tell whether this is effective or not at the time of writing. It's supposed to keep weeds at bay for up to five years and so it's early days yet, so far so good.A much needed product at an affordable price.

This is a good quality and well priced weed control membrane that’s constructed of a robust woven mesh that’s easy to cut and shape. With a few decades gardening experience I’ve used quite a number of similar weed control solutions and, whilst this isn’t the absolute thickest membrane I’ve used, it’s fairly hefty and it looks and feels like it will perform well for a number of years. At £32.99 for 1m x 50m it’s competitively priced and considerably cheaper than my local garden centre and landscaping supplier.It comes in a heat shrink packaging and mounted on a rigid card tube, so it arrived in great condition and is easy to unroll and lay down the amount required. The black fabric features a horizontal green line every 25cm that makes positioning layered sheets of the membrane a breeze. It’s advertised as UV resistant, which is a necessity with this type of product, and it breathes and lets water pass through to help avoid clogging etc.I’m very happy with the product and think it’s good value for money.

I'm planning to gravel over a part of my back garden that's a bit of a pain to mow due to its size and shape, so I've been on the lookout for some weed membrane for a wee while. The Bolo spy satellite must have been hovering overhead and obviously decided to beam a roll of it in my direction.This roll is excellent value compared to other similar items I've seen, most commonly sold by the metre in garden centres. It's just as thick (possibly a bit thicker) and is UV stabilised too. It unrolls and goes down well and whilst you may need some pegs to hold it in place, that depends upon what sort of ground you're putting it on and what you're placing on top of it - in my case 20mm gravel. It cuts cleanly and accurately, especially when I use my 70 year-old carpet shears - sharpened with my 90 year-old carborundum first (family heirlooms!)I've no doubt that this membrane will provide stellar service and I'd definitely recommend it.

It wasn’t clear from the listing what the gsm of this membrane is. The roll weighs 4.8kg, so I reckon once the cardboard tube is taken away this would leave the roll at around 4.5kg, meaning it is 90gsm so medium to heavy weight, which concurs with the label saying it is ‘WEECONMEM#90’. This should be added to the description, as people do like to know these things when choosing for their gardens. The long edge of the membrane is sealed well – I have had other, cheaper rolls that fray here and it is frustrating having to seal off the long edge as well as the cut edges. As with most membrane, as soon as you cut it anywhere it will fray very easily, so have a mini blowtorch on hand to seal it off. I use the mini blowtorch to cut it in the first place, which seals it as it is cut. No negatives to report, and I would recommend.

I’ve used this weed control membrane in my garden , and it’s really done the trick. The high-density material blocks out sunlight effectively, stopping weeds from growing without needing any chemicals, which I appreciate for keeping things eco-friendly. So far, my garden’s been weed-free, and the plants seem happy!The fabric is also water-permeable, which is great as it allows water and nutrients to reach the soil. It doesn’t suffocate my plants, and I’ve noticed the soil stays healthier overall. Installation was straightforward too, with clear lines to guide cutting and placement.What’s nice is that it’s durable and UV-stabilised, so I don’t have to worry about it degrading under the sun. It’s been a helpful solution for not just the garden, but also under paving slabs, keeping everything tidy and weed-free!
