5.0 out of 5 stars Comfy gardening gloves
These are really lovely, soft, comfy gardening gloves. From new they do have that loverly leather smell which I'm sure will fade overtime for those that are not a fan. The leather while soft seems to be strong enough to prevent some pokes and scratches from thorns. These won't stop everything from coming through though. The only negative is these glove are a one size fits all affair. These fit me pretty much perfect and I have medium (size 8) sized hands. For those with smaller or a lot larger might not find these gloves as easy to work with.Overall I'm very pleased with these gloves, time will tell how well they will hold up but there is nothing to suggest to me they won't last. I like these so much I will buy another pair to replace these and may buy some for my mum who loves gardening.
4.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable and Flexible Gardening Gloves with Good Protection
I tried the EINSKEY Leather Gardening Gloves and have found them to be a comfortable and flexible choice for my gardening needs. The gloves are made of soft leather, which feels lovely and smooth on the hands, allowing for a good range of movement. I especially appreciated the velcro wrist strap that helps keep the gloves secure, even though they are slightly larger than my hands. The initial leather smell is quite strong but fades over time, which is good news for those who might not enjoy it.These gloves offer decent protection, particularly around the palms, which are reinforced with a double layer. This feature is very useful when handling prickly plants or doing other tough garden tasks. However, I did notice that the fingers only have a single layer of protection, making them somewhat vulnerable to sharp thorns. While this design choice does enhance the gloves' flexibility and dexterity, it does mean you need to be a bit more careful when dealing with particularly thorny plants.Overall, I am pleased with the quality and performance of these gloves, especially considering their reasonable price. They are well-stitched and robust, making them a reliable choice for everyday gardening. Although they might not offer the highest level of protection available, they strike a good balance between comfort, flexibility, and safety. For anyone with medium to large hands looking for a solid pair of gardening gloves, the EINSKEY Leather Gardening Gloves are a worthwhile option.
5.0 out of 5 stars Gardening gloves
This is a lovely set of gardening gloves. They're very soft and flexible meaning it's easy enough to do gardening tasks while wearing them.I don't have anything thorny in my garden, but for everyday garden or odd jobs these are great - they're reinforced around the top of palm so offer reasonable protection when grabbing anything prickly or spiky. The gloves are also well made, stitching looks good and they feel robust. They fit well too, if a little big at the wrist and long in the fingers for me - it's not a hindrance though and the velcro wrist strap helps. The gloves do have a fairly strong smell out of the packet but it's nothing too off-putting and fades with use.Great quality, protective and comfortable.
3.0 out of 5 stars Nice, but mine seems to be one new and one used glove!
Now this could be limited to mine, but my pair of gloves look very different in terms of how worn they are. One looks new and has nice uncreased leather. The other has stains, odd marks and appears quite well worn. The good one is ok, the fleece liner is the thinnest i've seen, size wise the M was good for me and they do feel nice on.I'm not sure how long they'll last, i'm not inspired with confidence with the stitching, but we'll see.I just can't get past the fact one gloves appear to have been worn by someone and not for a quick test. The other looks pristine.A very middling 3 stars.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very Comfortable
I found these gloves to be very comfortable when wearing them, they are a nice soft leather which means they are very flexible and not stiff at all, I was able to make a fist easily when wearing them. The stitching on my pair looked good with no faults that I could find and the Velcro wrist strap is a nice feature. The sizing seems a little large for a medium, but nothing that will hinder me using them. As for thorn proof I have just pulled out a load of brambles that seem to love our garden and grow at an astonishing rate and so far so good, I have not been bitten. In conclusion, I really like these gloves they are the most comfortable to wear pair that I have and these are now my main pair of gardening gloves. Very happy.
4.0 out of 5 stars Decent gardening gloves
These gardening gloves are medium size. The gloves fit my hands without any extra space, but their cuffs are a bit short (they could have been a bit longer to provide extra protection). Unfortunately, these gloves are not offered at any other size (at least at the time of writing this review). These gloves are made of sheep leather. The leather doesn’t seem to be the stronger, but it seems a compromise between flexibility and strenght. The palms are reinforced with a double-layered. This should provide enough protection when manipulating some thorny plants. However, the fingers have a simple layer, no extra protection, what makes this area more vulnerable to punctures. The leather doesn’t seem thick enough to completely avoid that any thorn could cross the leather and reach your fingers. Although a reinforced layer would be ideal on the fingers too, this could decrease the ability to handle delicate objects. In any case, from my previous experience, I’ve already accepted the possibility that my hands could be exposed to some risk even thoughn wearing gardening gloves. Overall, these gloves look a decent quality for its price. I wouldn’t qualify the product as premium, but I understand that its price is not premium. So, I’m not expecting a premium product. But it’s a decent quality.
