This camera is robust and easy to use, it does not look to childish so ideal for a young child or a older child.It shoots both photos and videos and thermal prints photos of a size to fit the supplied frames.The instructions are really clear but it is also very intuitive to use.You get three rolls of printing paper.It is a great early camera to allow a child to experiment with photography, the quality is good enough to allow them to capture precious moments.It also comes with a memory card. A wonder thing to give a child and see what they take.The print quality is better for photos taken in natural light. You have to really think about it to get a good quality image, but I think it is quite magical for children to see instantly what they have taken.

My niece got married recently and had something similar to this at the reception whereby guests took a photo of themselves, stuck it in the guest book and wrote a message underneath. My other niece loves doing arts and crafts with her 4 year old and loved the idea of instant pictures to capture memories of the day so much I ordered one for my great-niece's birthday. Trips to the farm, park and a seaside holiday coming up will be the perfect excuse for her to make a memory book of her adventures

I must admit that this little toy camera really surprised me, I wasn't expecting anything particularly special but I found myself being really impressed.The camera is simple to use, there are only a handful of controls, you have plus and minus buttons that are used to navigate through menus and zoom in and out etc. , there's a power button , a button marked OK that is used for selecting various options and a button with an image of a camera on it for taking shots etc.This camera can take photos and also shoot video footage, the image quality isn't great but it's perfectly fine for a kids toy camera. The big novelty of this camera is that it will print out black and white images on to thermal paper, these images obviously aren't fantastic quality but you can tell what they are supposed to be and the level of detail is pretty decent. Included in the pack are a couple of extra rolls of thermal paper which should last a while, I think it's a fairly standard size so you should be able to buy more if needed.On top of this the camera allows you to apply a variety of different effects and filters to the images, so there really is a lot to play with here.Alongside the camera function there is a file viewer that allows you to play back video and view your photos, all quite standard stuff but then this camera also allows you to play MP3 files which can be loaded onto the included 32 GB micro sd card which is a neat little addition.This camera also features quite a wide array of options that allow you to change language, print density, switch print modes, change video resolution and image quality, plus a whole load more.On top of everything else this camera also allows you to play a selection of simple games, there are 5 to choose from including clones of Snake, Breakout and Tetris.Overall it's really hard to fault this little camera, image quality might not be great but there is just so much you can do with it, it's easy to use, it also feels really well built and comes with a good amount of different accessories including a pack of frames to put your pictures in.I think this is a fantastic toy and for £32.99 at the time of writing it seems like a bit of a bargain.

One of my favorites
I've reviewed several of these things, and played with more than I've reviewed.This one takes somewhat better pictures than average (only by a little).Physical appearance is B+. Not at good as the P***roid style model with the rainbow stripe, but reasonably decent looking and it's a more convenient shape than some others.Software could be better. Like most models, it boots up in the main menu and you have to push OK to get to camera mode (the shutter button is not recognized). To reprint pictures from the gallery, you have to push OK to turn on printing first, then the shutter button will print. I don't know why none of these boot up in camera mode first.It has two strap attachments so you can wear it around your neck, but the included neck strap is very narrow.It prints reasonably fast. It was defaulted to dot mode instead of smooth grayscale. The dotted mode makes more interesting pictures and does not suffer from washout in light areas.It has a menu beep on/off, but you will want to turn the volume to zero as well to get rid of startup sounds.The date stamp can be turned off.It has a protective window over the lens (I've only seen one without this standard feature).Battery life seems good. I have yet to see the meter go down.

The VATOS Instant Print Camera for Kids, 2.4 Inch 1080P HD Digital Instant Print Kids Camera is such a cute looking, bright looking purple color, and a FUN camera for kids! I had fun with it and I’m checking it out for my grandchildren. I check out all toys I get for them first for safety and appropriateness. This one is fun and creative at the same time. I am an amateur photographer who is constantly with my Canon camera. Obviously, this camera is not going to get the same results as that type of camera and lenses, but it sure does live up to the experience of finding objects in nature to photograph and even print out immediately if you want. The camera comes pre-loaded with a roll of printer paper and two extra rolls of paper. I am not able to find a way to find a resource to order more paper in the future. While taking photos you have the option to add frames to the photos. The camera does have a 32GB Micro Mini Memory Card included which is a great value. It records the photos while you take them. After taking the photos you then have the option to print. It had 5 card envelope frames included. The problem I saw with these is that the printer paper was a different size than the opening in the envelope frame. If you put the printed photo inside the envelope the photo will slide around and not be centered in the ‘frame’. This is a toy so no issue I suppose. There are 5 games on the camera as well. I did play them all. The color screen on the back is well lit and has a nice color to it. There is an option to take video, play MP3’s and a settings option for various functions. The carger cord is included – USB charger. This is a 48.0 Mega Pixel 2.7K Camera with a 16X Powerful Zoom F/2.4f=-4.3. There is no lens cap, but there is a neck strap. The neck strap has snaps on each side to make it removable which I think is important for a children's toy. This is a fun and affordable and creative toy and very easy to take along for any child!
Really Nice Kids' Camera Set!
My 7 year old loves taking my phone to take pictures of random things he comes across. It's a little annoying at times but also endearing. I came to Bolo to see what the world of kid's cameras looked like today and came across this camera set. The camera by itself would make him happy, but the ability to instantly print pictures would make him ecstatic. I ordered this for him to set aside for Christmas but wanted to check the charge level and how to operate it before stashing it away.Upon opening the item, I was happy to see the included accessories. It comes with a lanyard, two sets of roller paper, and several picture frames that he can put his pictures in. The camera is charged by USB C which we have all over our home so I appreciate that it doesn't require some separate type of adapter. I opened the camera to test it, and it immediately came on and was set to take photos. I have uploaded a few pictures showing the unboxing and picture printing from the camera. I was impressed to see how quickly it prints pictures - within 10 seconds of snapping a picture, you will have a black and white printout of whatever you snapped.I recommend this product for young aspiring photographers or for anyone who wants to have the ability to print pictures in real time as they take them. I already know that my son will love this thing - it is fantastic in it's ease of use and function. Great item!
Good for young kids!
I think this camera is perfect for younger kids who are just learning how to take pictures and want the instant photo print out. It does not have the best clarity, but for young kids it does perfectly well enough.
