    The machine itself is ok. Once you get the tension sorted it's fine. The instructions are terrible, bad translation and very basic so finding a you tube video is much more helpful. The finish of the machine isn't great so I had to use a nail file to smoothe off the burs to prevent the yarn catching and causing dropped stitches. It worked well and didn't take much doing, but it's a bit tedious doing all 40!I very quickly realised I should have bought the 48 pin machine though (and have recently bought it!) because you can only make child sized hats. It's not so bad if a hat is a bit roomy but it's no good too small!Doing panels is a nightmare and takes a lot of practice. In general I spent a lot of time ripping up makes due to stopped stitches and tension issues so patience is needed. I eventually worked out how to repair dropped stitches and it helped but it's not easy (if you know how to fix dropped stitches in knitting it's similar, I'd reccomend using a metal crochet hook rather than the plastic rubbish they include).I can't work out how to make the pattern shown on the box but there are some patterns online you can buy but most are for the 48 pin machine so, again, I reccomend spending the extra.Over all it's a great way to knock up quick hats if you have the patience to get to grips with it, but you'd be much better going for the 48 pin option.

    I bought this product arrived 11th October by 11th November it is no longer fit for use. The plastic cogs within the machine keep sticking or slipping resulting in slipped stitches, also the counter stopped workingI'm trying to get a replacement and return it but after 30 days it is made very difficult. Beware of this when buying it's difficult to get customer service support if anything breaks.

    This machine is awesome! I have made 60+ hats for low income and homeless. Watch the videos on youtube. You'll get some tips and instructions. This machine runs smooth and it is easy. Just a small tip - keep an eye on the row counter. Every once in a while it doesn't change to the next number. I would highly recommend this knitting machine to anyone - even people who don't knit or crochet.

    Some people on Facebook complain about how these machines are cheap and dont work well, but this one works great and runs very smooth. I’ve only just started using it but it works like a dream. There are of course more expensive circular knitting machines but this one works great so will stick to what I have.
