4.0 out of 5 stars Nifty little pencil!
This pencil is great - time will tell how 'infinite' it is! But its sleek, feels great and has a nice weight to it. The only gripe I have with it is the second nib is just meant to be kept safe somewhere - which I know I'll lose! I'd rather pay more and have the second nib as part of a set of 3 in a little case or something like that (like how you get the extra lead for mechanical pencils). Or even a way for the extra nib to be inside the same pencil or something! But don't let that stop you, its a VERY nice pencil!
5.0 out of 5 stars Quality pencil
This is a high quality pencil. It has a good weight to it and feels great to use. Perfect for those who need to use a pencil for work or hobbies as it does not need to be sharpened and the nibs last. There are 2 nibs in the box. I run several businesses and I like to do my accounts on paper so a pencil is always useful until my figures are finalised or for making notes on some of my items but able to rub them out later. It gives consistency of writing/drawing (whereas an ordinary pencil changes as you wear down the lead and I hate sharpening pencils and the mess they make) I would highly recommend it
4.0 out of 5 stars Great drafting pencil
I know it might be old-fashioned, but I do still like to figure out designs and plans for projects using a paper and pencil. From a tactile point of view, the pencil feels great and is pretty much indestructible. The nib is quite hard and so produces fine lines that are a lighter grey rather than black, but are still perfectly legible. In fact, this is an advantage for me, as I use it for drafting outline designs which I can firm up later, but other people might find it less satisfactory. It is somewhat expensive. I’ve knocked off one star because of that and because the presentation could be better at the price, but I feel it would still make a good gift.
3.0 out of 5 stars Heavy in weight, light in drawing
On paper this looked like a good solution. I am often drawing up plans the old fashioned way using propelling drafting pencils or ink pens.I thought I try this as an alternative. It doesn't need sharpening, then again, nor does a propelling draughting pencil. Nibs do have to be replaced, and I'm not sure how long they last.I found it harder to be mm accurate with the wide tapered nib when drawing lines.Though solid in feel, and made of metal I found it too heavy and tiring for long periods. Most important of all, it is very faint, I need a more solid line when drawing. At 19.99 it felt more like a gimmick that a true craftsman's tool.
4.0 out of 5 stars Convenient infinite metal pencil
The infinite metal pencil is a sleek, eco-friendly writing tool that eliminates the need for constant sharpening or replacement.Pros:• The design is both modern and ergonomic, making it comfortable to hold and use for extended periods.• Its "infinite" lasting capability ensures you'll never need to replace the pencil, making it a sustainable and cost-effective choice.Cons:• The marks it makes are lighter compared to a traditional graphite pencil, which may not be ideal for users who prefer darker, more prominent writing. Conclusion: The infinite metal pencil is a well-designed, durable alternative to traditional pencils, offering endless use. However, if darker lines are essential, it might not fully meet your needs.
2.0 out of 5 stars Looks great, performs less so.
this pencil feels great in hand - I like the heavyweight feel. I think it looks good too.However...Its really lightIts really scratchyIt doesnt even come with a capIts really not for me.
4.0 out of 5 stars Lovely to hold, easy to control and works well, but the writing is very light.
The HOZO NeoRulerGO Classic Elegant Design Metal Infinity Pencil has a lovely design, I love the shape and it has a good weight, which I prefer, and I find it very comfortable in the hand. The inkless nibs are new to me and in use I find the HOZO NEORULEGO aids precision and have experienced no smudging. The only downside I have is that the writing is a very light grey, I prefer a bolder style when I am drawing. I do not know the technology but it would have been perfect if the spare nib produced darker tones. The packaging could have been better, I am concerned about losing the spare nib, but overall it is a great concept that works well up to a point (excuse the pun).
3.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't need sharpening and looks nice
This provides a better nib than my other mechanical pencils as the lead does tend to break on them if I get even a bit heavy with themThe hobo comes with the two nibs and doesn't need sharpening. It has some heft to it so good when being held, but I did find the output is a little too light for me in some forms of drawing. If they could produce a nib that gives a darker "HB" equivalent then that would be great
Good Pencil
The Everlasting Metallic Pencil is a unique addition to any sketcher’s toolkit. Being metallic gives it a sleek and modern look. The pencil’s heavy weight provides a substantial feel in the hand, which can be both a positive and a negative depending on personal preference. One notable feature is its durability. Unlike regular pencils, this one doesn’t require sharpening, which is a significant advantage for those who sketch frequently. The lack of an eraser can be inconvenient for some, but it is not bad at all for me.Overall, the Everlasting Metallic Pencil is a solid choice for artists who appreciate a durable and stylish tool.
Elegant Design and Excellent Control, but too Light for Bold Marks
The HOZO NeoRulerGO Classic Metal Inkless Pencil is a fascinating and elegantly designed writing tool.On the plus side, it is weighty, and feels substantial in hand, which I personally love. The weight allows me to control my writing better, especially since I tend to press hard when I write. It erases cleanly and doesn’t smudge as much as a regular pencil, which is a significant advantage. I also appreciate the angular design, which makes the pencil easy to gripHowever, I have mixed feelings about the writing output. While the pencil erases well and smudges far less than a regular pencil, the marks it leaves are quite light. I compared it to a BiC 0.7 #2 pencil, and the difference is noticeable. I wanted so much to love this, but it just doesn't show up boldly enough for my liking.Pros:* Heavy, well-balanced feel for better control* Smudges less than traditional pencils* Erases cleanly* Attractive, angular design for easy gripping* Reusable and environmentally friendly*Cons:* Writing output is too light for drawing or detailed note-taking* Lacks the boldness of traditional pencilsOverall, the HOZO NeoRulerGO is an attractively designed pencil that offers a unique and enjoyable writing experience, particularly for those who appreciate a heavier tool. However, if you need bold, dark lines, this might not be the best choice. It’s more suited for light sketching or as an elegant accessory on your desk.

I wanted to love this
I received the product that is just the pencil with the 2 nibs. The box it comes in was a simple cardboard box with a dividing insert. For a $20 pencil, I would have thought it was worth maybe a little plastic tray that presents it nicely when you unpackage it for the first time. The nibs were in a separate poly bag, which i could see was smudging the inside of the bag. I screwed the nib onto the pencil and it also smudged on my fingers. When writing words, it didn't smudge, and if it did it was very minimal. Which is a good thing for people who are left handed. However, when I did some scribbling to mimic shading, it did smudge (see picture for my smudging tests lol) on the paper and my finger.I'm a heavy handed writer. 0.5 mechanical pencil lead fears me. I prefer to use 0.7 lead because of it's boldness and because it stands up better to my writing. The NeoPencil boldness is lacking. If you see my uploaded photo, its lighter than 0.5 lead. I do appreciate that no matter how heavy handed I am, I won't break the nib, but i really wished they offered nibs that wrote bolder. Even if it meant more smudging, I'd purchase the nib in a heartbeat. I'm considering getting the colored nibs set, but a bit hesitant that the colors won't be saturated enough. I could see the NeoPencil working well for artists doing sketches, but not so much for someone like me. I will continue to have it on standby for marking little things, but don't see myself relying on it for everything.
Sort-of neat gimmick; an updated version of an old-school drawing tool; light lines
I got this through the Vine Program in exchange for my honest review. If you are really eager to get on the '"inkless pen/pencil" trend right now, this is a nice one in terms of weight, how it feels in the hand, and general sizing. I think this is a nice item for someone who is professionally doing drafting or technical drawings, assuming they're willing to buy extra nibs, use a separate eraser, etc. For the average person, this is more of a gimmick. The price is a little steep ($19.99 at the time of writing) given you can find sets with multiple pens and nibs for less on AZ, and this comes with one pen and only two nibs, in barebones packaging. That said, the body of the pen is nicely designed and made. The multi-faceted design makes it feel natural like a wooden pencil, but it weighs something like a heavy-duty mechanical pencil. As others have said, it writes very lightly and with very fine lines, unless you are shading. Then it shades very lightly. I've learned that this is almost ALL inkless pencils given how the nibs are made. Most have hard graphite nibs, which is why they can last a long time and not need sharpening. However, the harder the graphite, the lighter the lines will be. If your classic school pencil is an #2 (US grade) / HB (EU grade), this is more like a 3H (EU grade), meaning it will be much lighter than a normal #2/HB pencil. So it's more suited for graphical and technical drawings, or for light sketching that you plan to go over with color pencils or ink. It's not really suitable for taking notes, detailed art sketching, etc. unless you really want light grey writing and lines. The nibs for this are graphite. There are other inkless pens (aka infinity pens, forever pencils, etc.) that use other metal allows and claim a sort-of magic "oxidization" process. Those pens simply use a different lead-free alloy with pewter or silver in the nibs, and you can conceptually use those types of nibs in this. That all said, none of these "magic" pens and pencils are new or revolutionary. It's all a really old technique called silverpoint (or metal point) from the Middle Ages that was outmoded by more modern pencils. You can still find traditional artist-grade metal point styluses that use copper, gold, silver, etc. at a variety of price points.History lessons aside, this is an okay pencil for someone who wants something that feels good in the hand and has some weight and plans to use it for drafting or technical drawings. For the average user who wants it to take notes, doodle, sketch, etc. I don't recommend this. And for those who want to use pencils for their more artistic pursuits, I recommend getting affordable sets of traditional pencils that cover a wide scale of blackness and hardness.
