    Review of Fansir Led Night Light 3D Soccer Light,16 Colour,Remote Control, Dimmable.A small night light that uses 3 x AA batteries or 5v USB power, a USB cable supplied but no batteries or 5v supply.The small round plastic base houses the electronics, LED lights and battery case, a control button on top can spool sequentially through all the light settings and used for the ON/OFF switch also. Slotted into the base a perspex screen with a football design this sitting above the LED light beads.An infra-red remote control is supplied which has to be used facing the front of the light, this duplicates the controls that the base button can be used for, in use the light can be dimmed although not to bright anyway, colours and light sequences abound and whilst the imprint of the symbol (football) is lit it not really 3D, a lot of imagination is needed to actually see a 3D image from a few angles but mostly this a flat football on a perspex screen.This a nice item but more a novelty with colours and sequences of light on an imprinted flat perspex screen, not at all like what one may see painted on the pitch at sports venues however an affordable stocking filler for Christmas.

    This football night light appears to be a lot bigger in the photos than it actually is. The visible ball/crown part is, in reality 113 x 150 mm.It’s very easy to set up, the illuminated ball fits in the base, you plug it in and that’s it. The remote control can have the light working in any of its 4 modes in any of its 16 available colours. It’s a solid well constructed unit suitable for anywhere that needs to be lit. I suggest though that it might be best for a football mad young man, rather than a young Lady who’s into Barbie!At £8.99 this football light is very good value and the cheapest one I could find on Bolo.

    This night light is comprised of a circular base with a slot in the top. Into that slot goes a transparent acrylic panel, which has a design printed on it - here, a velociraptor. I found the light easy to set up and operate. The only assembly required was getting a protective sheet off the acrylic panel and then slotting it into the base. It was a little tricky getting the sheet off but once I'd gotten my fingernail under a corner, it all peeled off easily enough. The panel isn't fixed into the base, so can easily be packed away - it's all very lightweight too.When the light is switched on, the LEDs in the base light up, which from a certain angle makes the design look like it is floating. There are 16 colours you can select via the remote control. There are also flash, strobe, fade and smooth functions which cycle through the colours in slightly different ways - smooth is my favourite of the four.The power button on the base can be used to turn the light on and off and cycle through the colours and modes, but if you want to adjust brightness you need the remote, which comes with a battery already included. The light itself takes three AA batteries but you have to supply these yourself. It also operates via USB - a USB-A to USB-C cable is included but it's not long enough for my needs so I am using a longer one of my own instead.There's nothing special about this light compared to others of its type, functionality is basic with no timer option but that doesn't bother me. The dinosaur design is suitably fearsome and it looks cool so overall I am very happy with this night light.

    My little boy has a spidey version of this light and my second son (who is football mad) has been wanting one ever since so this one is perfect. He loves the football design. It is really easy and straight forward to set up and easy to operate. He likes to lay in bed with the little remote control and select which colour he wants each night as he uses it for a night light through the night. They also both love to put it on the flashing mode and turn the lights off as they feel like they are having a disco!
