4.0 out of 5 stars An elegant looking rechargeable soap dispenser
A really nice looking soap dispenser that looks very elegant in my kitchen. It’s very easy to fill and holds a good amount of liquid or foam soap. It’s very handy being completely waterproof so splashes won’t cause any harm.Being rechargeable is great but I wish they had used a standard usb charge instead of the magnetic one, it means if you lose the cable you can’t recharge the dispenser. I understand why they’ve used this type of charging cable as it’s now watertight.
5.0 out of 5 stars High quality dispenser
This is a solid and attractive little unit which blends seamlessly with your bathroom décor. It is nice to see proper waterproofing with this kind of dispenser as it is virtually impossible to prevent splashes by the sink. The soap containment vessel at the bottom neatly screws out of the main unit, at the top there is a single button to switch on/off and set one of two modes as well as two small contact points to attach the proprietary magnetic cable for charging - I think I would have preferred USB-C but at least I know that this one will be better protected against the elements. The dispenser works exactly as described but, as mentioned you only get two speeds which is a little limiting but that is the only slight negative. This dispenser has a high quality matte finish, looks and works perfectly so I have no complaints.
2.0 out of 5 stars Short battery life
I don't know if I got a faulty one, but as a Vine reviewer I am unable to order a replacement, so I will review it as is but give the benefit of the doubt that the short battery life might be a fault rather than a featureThis is a nice design, with clean lines, simple functionality, and decent capacity. That's about all the positive things I can say about it.I have a couple of gripes with thisVisibility - you can't see how much soap you have left, so you won't know it's time to get more soap until you've run outAdaptability - It has too dispensing modes: too much soap; and way too much soap plus a beep for no reasonBattery capacity - this thing went flat within a few days. There was no warning light, and it took a while to realise that I needed to charge it. The cable is proprietary, so I had to go dig it out and it's very easy to accidentally dislodge it.Controls - I had a surprisingly hard time turning it on and off. The buttons are sensor-based, so you can never be quite sure that you've pressed itNo manual mode - once the battery went flat, there was no pump action option to get the soap out manually, which seems like an enormous design oversight.
3.0 out of 5 stars works very well (with not-too-thick soap), waterproof, looks nice. Proprietary charging cable
PROS-looks nice-sensor works well-easy to set different rates of flow-easy to refill reservoir (which is pretty big, refills are infrequent)-looks nice in my bathroom-fully waterproofCONS-proprietary charging cable: lose it, and you can’t charge this any more. A major CON-struggles a bit with my liquid soap (which is pretty thick, admittedly). So I diluted it a bit, and it works ok with that.NOTES-not a great decision to use a proprietary charging cable, USB-C would’ve been a _much_ better choice (make it waterproof with a silicone cover, job done).
4.0 out of 5 stars Stylish and practical but non-standard charging
The media could not be loaded. This automatic soap dispenser is both stylish and practical but it has one minor annoyance (the non-standard charging cable). The unit looks good and is very easy to use. The charging cable is a weird magnetic one and I’m not sure if you would be able to get a replacement so you really need to keep it somewhere safe otherwise you won’t be able to charge the soap dispenser if you lose it.It’s good value for less than £20 (at the time of review) but I would only recommend it if you don’t mind having specific cables for your devices.
5.0 out of 5 stars A brilliant soap dispenser!
The media could not be loaded. This dispenser is fantastic! If I'm honest, I wasn't too sure what to expect when I ordered it but its blown me away. First of all, the touchless feature is incredibly convenient—just hold your hand under the spout, and it dispenses the perfect amount of soap without any contact, which is a big plus in keeping things hygienic and stops me from using half the bottle at a time which my wife often tells me off about. The size holds a decent amount of soap too so I don’t find myself having to constantly refill it.Another fantastic feature is that it's rechargeable. I haven't charged it once since receiving it and it’s still running without issue despite constant use.The dispenser is also waterproof, which is important in a bathroom. I don’t have to worry about splashes or accidental spills ruining it. It works great with liquid soap as you can see in my video which is ideal because I don't like the foam stuff.Overall, this soap dispenser is awesome! If you’re looking to make handwashing easier and add a bit of modern style, I would highly recommend this clever gadget!
