4.0 out of 5 stars Ok
These light up trees are ok... But I was torn between giving this 3 or 4 stars-They are one of those things that look much better from a distance rather than close up. They're essentially white with stickers on to make it look similar to bark. They feel pretty cheap and flimsy to hold. One good thing I will say, is that these get bonus points for having both a battery pack, and a USB cable power option!. Far too many Christmas decorations are the moment can be powered only by battery packs. It's driving me insane and I wouldn't use batteries as they are just too inconvenient-Ok product, nothing special. Look good from a distance. Current price £18 for two which is too high for the low quality in my opinion
5.0 out of 5 stars Great value
Extremely pleased no batteries to worry about
4.0 out of 5 stars Great decorative trees
It looks so cheap, the bottom is white thi n plastic, body is covered in white plastic tapes. The branches are wired, can be set for desired shape. But in a bit of distance, it looks OK.Especially with the lights on, it does look too bad.It can be powered by batteries(3×AA) or USB plugged into powerbank. It would be perfect for occasional decoration, for the price the effect is good.
5.0 out of 5 stars Small but attractive trees
These are ideal for small spaces and will fit in places that larger, similar ones will not.The branches are easily bent to give an attractive appearance, especially when the lights are illuminated. They are supplied in quite a small box with the branches bent. If the trees are only going to be used seasonally then they could be re-packed back in the box they were supplied in, however, I would be concerned that repeated bending of the branches may eventually break them. There were no instructions but only minimal assembly is required and it was quite straightforward, simply connect the small connectors from the trunk and the base, push them into the trunk and screw the trunk into the base. They are not mains powered but are low voltage from a USB port. Two lengths of cable are included with a USB A connector on one end and a round DC type socket on the other. The DC socket plugs into a connector at the base of the tree, next to an on/off switch. The cables are only 1 metre long and for outdoor use most people will need to also purchase a suitable extension with a USB adapter. The 24 LED's on each tree emit a warm white light and look attractive in a garden or either side of a door but they also look good when used indoors too.
3.0 out of 5 stars two lit trees.
I was excited to use these for Christmas but am a little disappointed. The description reads that they are two feet. They do look significantly smaller as the branches are thin. The bark is just printed plastic tape that has been wrapped around the wires and lights. They look great in the dark!
4.0 out of 5 stars Better viewed from a distance
This twin pack of birch twig trees with warm white LED lights would be suitable for a number of occasions such as Christmas, weddings, engagement etc. Each tree is 2ft / 60cm in height and the individual twigs can be manipulated to get the required shape. The main upright section has some unsightly bunch up plastic wrap and the outline of the wiring is visible in a number of places. The base and upright come as separate pieces and you need to first insert the power connector then screw the upright into the base. I found the bases to be a little wobbly. Each unit comes with a USB A to jack cable which is 1 metre long - a USB C port would have been more user-friendly as it would have enabled use of existing longer-length cables providing greater options for placement/display.I have added some green and red balls to one so far and will add some hessian around the base as the boxy white plastic looks rather cheap.Overall, the £17.99 pricetag (with a further 10% off voucher available) is a very reasonable for this twin pack and these are a great starting point for a bit of blinging up.
5.0 out of 5 stars USB or 3x AA battery powered twig tree lights (X2)
It wasn't very clear from the description how these pair of twig tree lights are actually powered, but you have two choices....They each come supplied with a USB cable (black) that can be plugged into a spare USB adapter, or you can use 3x AA batteries. See my pics where I show them being lit both ways. They just have a on/off switch on the base - no timer.Very easy to assemble, just conect the cable from the base to the cable from the tree, and then screw in to the base. The twig trees looks quite stylish with their warm white LED lights but the base looks a little bit plastic-y, especially up close, though I think you'll hardly notice. When folding out the branches they reach up to about 60cm tall (see my pic with the tape measure).I'm going to save these for Christmas, but I can imagine them also be used at parties, weddings etc.Very pleased with them, and I think ok value too.
4.0 out of 5 stars Looks nice in the dark
I'll be honest, these trees look better in the dark. When you are close up to them in daylight they look a bit cheap looking due what I assume is tape with a birch tree print to give that birch tree effect. They do look really nice in the dark with the lights lit up though so for that I will give them 4 stars. I do think they can be spruced up a bit to make them look more appealing, just add some burlap to the base and some bow and baubles to the branches.
