At 37p/capsule this is not the cheapest supplement out there, nor is it supposed to be.Fisetin has been shown to reduce senescent cell buildup, but at relatively high doses, and studies show it being used for just 2-3 days per month, usually.The suggested dosage on this product I do not think is adequate enough. From studies I have seen, I need to consume about 12-15 capsules of this, two or three days per month.That means that this bag should last two months when consuming 15 capsules/day for two days per month.I've been a fan of the Longevity Box brand for a while now as their products are genuine, and usually well-priced for high-purity supplements.It is difficult to really say if this does what studies show, as I have no way to test and see if they are efficacious. So, I will just trust the science and assume that these must be doing what I hope.As usual I like that this brand uses good packaging that is resealable, although I would like them to use recyclable packaging.For the cost compared to other Fisetin supplements, it is fairly reasonable.

Bolo’s community guidelines do not now allow me to report on my personal experience regarding the efficacy or health effects of products. Therefore, unfortunately, I can not comment on these aspects in this review.Suffice it to say that I am very happy with these Fisetin capsules from Longevity Box and am likely to buy more. Good ingredients at decent strengths and good value. They are easy to swallow and tasteless with no unpleasant or unwanted side effects so far.

This is a review of 'Longevity Box Fisetin 100mg x 60 Capsules - 98% Pure Fisetin with Third Party Certification'.This is basically an antioxidant supplement. There a lot of antioxidant supplements available at lower cost than this but this particular compound has been shown in studies to extend lifespan by eliminating harmful cells. In theory, this is what all antioxidants do but this one has studies to show its efficacy. The issue lies in the dosage as the dosage from the studies is much higher than you'd take with this supplement. This is something I'd recommend taking under the advice of a doctor if taking more than one a day, though. Overall I feel it's a good product but you'd have to take about 5 a day to get the benefits shown in the studies, so it should be looked at more as general antioxidant support rather than a product to extend lifespan and perform miracles.

I've been taking these supplements for a few months now as part of my focus on healthy ageing. It's hard to say for sure what effect they're having, but I feel good and that's what matters. The supplements are easy to swallow and have no unpleasant taste. I've also noticed that my energy levels have improved since I started taking them. Overall, I'm happy with these supplements and would recommend them to anyone who is interested in supporting their health and wellbeing.

The packaging on this is comedically small. You need reading glasses to read the label. Frankly, I think, given the elderly audience to combat senescence, it’s too small.Also, once you do, the idea of ‘Ultra’ slightly goes out of the window. There are 60 tablets here, and it says:“Take one capsule daily. For a therapeutic dose take five or more capsules at cadence that is advised by your healthcare practitioner.”Normally, when something is referred to as ‘Ultra’ you’d expect 1 a day to be a high dose. Not need to take 5 (out of a pack of 60) to have a ’therapeutic dose’ (and exhaust your £25 pack of pills in 12 days!)(Also, reads awkwardly. It should be ‘at a cadence’ not ‘at cadence’. So please fix that in the next batch folks.)I looked up the doses of Fisetin used in studies, and it is typically 20mg/kg of body weight per day according to what I saw on a quick online search of different studies.14 stone-ish = 90kg ish. So 90 x 20 = 1800mg per day by my reckoning.So, perhaps 100mg isn’t so ultra?Another brand I’ve tried has 500mg per pill for a similar price (cheaper actually) and still has 60 tablets. Two a day of those and you have 10 times the dose of one of these.Most importantly, the dose on these is just too low. It’s a dose that isn’t meaningful.Even at 5 a day it would probably be too low to be ‘therapeutic’; given that the actual studies are using probably using 3 times even that a day (or the equivalent of maybe 15 of these a day!). At a properly ‘therapeutic dose’ I’d probably exhaust this pack in 4 days (not good at 25 quid a pop!)Honestly, I’d skip these. I like the brand. But the dose is simply too low.
