THE LONDON AGENCYIn the style of later John Grisham this is an excellent thriller-from a new author-which I selected from a recent push of Bolo suggestions. The novel thrills but raises many important social issues but doesn’t preach and keeps the issues (AI is one of many, of course) well embedded in the fabric of the story. It’s set in the here and now and avoids the almost ubiquitous terrorist bomb threat, drug cartel or people trafficking scenarios and explores some current major concerns; I will not spoil anything for you. Jump in!The story follows the rules of the genre and in classic style, separate isolated threads of the story with well-developed characters weave and bond with an increasing pace and excitement; the author clearly know his stuff as whether the setting is a marketing meeting in London, UK or an interview with an ex special services operative somewhere in small town USA the background, technical detail and dialogue always read as highly credible.I would recommend this novel for perfect holiday reading on the beach or by the pool or in the fall to escape from work and endless scrolling. One other thing. Read carefully and take notes as it may just one day save your life; those awful disposable plastic security cuffs? There is a way out.
5.0 out of 5 stars Intriguing page turner. Great holiday read.
The premise of the story is intriguing and scarily probable! As the plot develops, Josh, a disaffected project manager in London whose life is increasingly directionless and hollow finds that his new client is also the focus of American journalist Matt’s investigation into a potentially explosive and secretive new technology.Nothing is as it seems, and Josh’s life rapidly becomes more exciting than he could ever have imagined. The story swings easily between London and the USA and as the tension ratchets up you find yourself really on the edge of your seat as both Josh and Matt head into dangerous territory. It is well written and convincing; both the characters and the worlds of marketing as well as the military are realistic and believable and the threats are real. A great holiday read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great plot!
It’s a really good read - very “of the moment” and very believable. You’ll find yourself rooting for the main protagonists. If you’ve worked in agency life, it’ll resonate even more, but it’s not necessary - at heart it’s a well written crime thriller.
5.0 out of 5 stars Exciting, Gripping… I just couldn’t put it down!
This was a gripping thriller from start to finish. The author has a great style with his own distinctive approach to developing a multi-layered plot!I highly recommend this fantastic debut novel… I can’t wait for the author’s next book!
5.0 out of 5 stars Splendid thriller
Really enjoyed this. The plot is great, the story rattles along with no let-up, very vivid characters and, importantly for me, it feels really visual. It’s a great read and frankly begging to be put on tv. Have a read, you will not be disappointed.
