    It gets 3 stars because it's a nice item it's just incomplete and I've had to buy the missing part off eBay and replace all the LED's because I installed them as shown on the board only to find they should've been installed at a 90 degree angle. I used the picture on the Bolo sale in the end but it really should have had some description of how these components should be mounted. It was missing one of the ceramic capacitors but luckily it comes with a component description so I ordered a bag of them. Obviously.... nobody will sell you just one you have to buy a whole bag full ffs.Other than these issues, when the parts finally arrive I'll be able to finish it and I'm sure it will be fantastic.*EDIT* - Upped to 4 stars as I have now completed the speaker and I have to say it is pretty fantastic. The sound quality is quite unexpected, it's really REALLY good.The seller was fantastic, after hearing there were parts missing and that I'd had an extra outlay they refunded me for the full item so I can only thank them for that. I have to say, they have probably been the most helpful Bolo seller I've dealt with to date.Take your time with the build, ask questions if needs be and you'll enjoy the speaker like I have been!

    What a load of total rubbish no instructions !.Parts missing on my first order so returned and got a replacement but this also had a resistor missing.None of the resistors are labeled so unless you have a multimeter with ohm's test you don't knowvwhat resistors are what then you have no chance of assembling it. Plus the band's of colour on the resistors is so feint you can't read them.Tha clear acrylic box has a film coating on both sides and is a total nightmare to remove.You have to build this from the photo in the listing to be able to see how it's assembled.I bought this as a fun little project to kill a few hours but to be honest it has caused more stress than pleasure.

    Got for my son for Xmas stocking filler. Love the idea of making something and gaining some skills with something he will actually want to use at his age as lot of kits aimed at younger children. Very happy

    instructions are no complete BUT following the video thats is on the products page i worked out 99% of the build and it works great. The only thing was the mini ariel i could not find where it gets soldered had prpper instuctions been provided it would of had 5* however the sound quality is much better than i thought it would be, even the base is clear.

    Firstly, it works, and works well.The Instructions are not so great shame the resistors were not marked but resorted to using you-tube video and an resistor identifier app.Mic is very sensitive, but that also can be adjusted using a screwdriver. but all in all I did enjoy making it.

    Der Bausatz wird nur mit Schaltplan/Stückliste für den selbst zu lötenden LED-Pegelmesser ausgeliefert, wie das Gesamtgerät aufzubauen und zu verdrahten ist bleibt im Dunkeln, dafür gibt der Hersteller noch nicht mal Hinweise im Internet! Ein Fehler kann kann bestenfalls die komplette Elektronik zerstören, schlimmere Folgen wie Brände sind durchaus vorstellbar. Ein solches Machwerk dürfte in Deutschland niemals in den Handel kommen, schon gar nicht als EInsteigerprojekt für Neulinge in der Elektronik. Bolo sollte hier doch mal etwas kritischer hinschauen!
