    I pre ordered this as I thought it would look really nice with my white keyboard.The mouse is compatible with the Turtle Beach Surf II app & most of the styles or rhythms of the RGB, are locked into the colours they have as default. You can only change the colours of ones that stay a fixed colour, and they don't match what you pick at all. I had to chose a red to look more pink, but it's a very faded pink. I'm not sure why, but if you pick a pre set pink it's bright & beautiful, so it's frustrating that you cannot match the colour to what you want.My mouse didn't come with instructions/manual, so I came back on here and read that I had to download the above mentioned app. There you can change the DPI & other settings. It also comes with grips, but they don't tell you where to place them, but I figured out they're meant to go on the side of the mouse.The cord seems durable so far, as I got the wired version that's important to me. It's responsive too, but I have no idea how to fix the buttons or assign them to anything. The lack of manual with the mouse really messed me about, there was not even a QR code to show me the manual online.The mouse fits my tiny hands, so I doubt this will be as good for medium/ large hands as stated, good for me, not good for those with big hands.I feel a little disappointed after waiting so long for this to arrive, and I'm glad I didn't get the wireless as I feel like that would have been an even bigger waste of money.

    Vor voller Freude endlich ne neue Kone.Haptik sehr gut, Oberfläche perfekt nicht so glatt wie die Kone AIMO.. aber das Mausrad finde ich persönlich inakzeptabel.Verglichen mit meiner Kone AIMO ist das Mausrad beim drehen 3x so laut, für mein empfinden ohne Headset auf, deutlich zu laut. Ansonsten würde sie 5 Sterne von mir bekommen. Die SWARM 2 Software ist zwar eine Umstellung aber kein Problem.Ging leider wieder zurück.Habe mir ein Glück noch 4 AIMOs zum guten Kurs gesichert..

    Really love the mouse so far. Was skeptical since I've never been a fan of turtle beach. So far this mouse has done everything I thought it would do. I am a bit worried about the switches that they use. They're still using the Titan switches which I am not a fan of. But they did introduce debounce for the clicking which is nice. I think I'll probably update this review in 3 to 6 months to see what has happened with the mouse. I tend to do a lot of gaming and my issue with recent Mice from this company is that I get a rampant double click due to not using an omron switch. Love the size of the mouse and it's ergonomics for my big hands. The grips that cam with it are meh honestly. Too small to feel nice. So I don't use them.

    With Turtle Beach acquiring ROCCAT back in 2019, this has led to Turtle Beach moving forward with products that ROCCAT was known for, but now under the Turtle Beach brand.In the past, I have reviewed the KONE (the last was the Kone XP Air in laste September), but this time around, for 2024, I am reviewing the Turtle Beach Kone II, a wired ergonomic RGB gaming mouse.The mouse features a 26K DPI Accuracy Sensor and 640 IPS Tracking Speed. This no doubt shows an improvement of the KONE of years past which utilized a 19L DPI optical sensor.Also, featuring click tensioning and a Titan 100M click life cycle optical switch.This wired mouse features Multi-Zone RGB illumination and features three fully customizable RGB lighting zones and are programmable via the Swarm II app including the synchronized AIMO intelligent lighting.It's important to note that if you had used ROCCAT peripherals before, the original ROCCAT SWARM software will not detect this mouse, you will need to download the Turtle Beach Swarm II software from the Turtle Beach website.Also, when you download the newer software, it will ask if you want to download the legacy ROCCAT drivers. It's important to note that the Turtle Beach Kone II requires an update, so I would recommend installing the SWARM II software. In addition, the amount of settings that one can control via DPI settings, polling rate, DCU calbiration, standby mode, debounce time, angle snapping, lighting effects, and primary button customizing and easy shift.One of the big selling points of this mouse is that it's ergonomic. It does feel good to the touch and your hands feel it's a much better fit when holding this mouse, thanks to its curvature on the left and how it's made.The feet feature PTFE feet for smooth gliding but it also comes with these stickers that grips to a flat surface much easier.It's important to note that they offer an arctic white of this same mouse but of course, if you want the wireless AIR version of this mouse, expect to pay a bit more. And because you are paying for the Turtle Beach brand name, expect to pay under $65 for the wired version and under $100 for the wireless version.But having used this mouse for the last two weeks, it reminds me why I loved the KONE product line.  The mouse has always been my go to but the KONE II feels just right in your hand and it's easily customizable with ease with SWARM II.But overall, I do think that Turtle Beach acquiring ROCCAT was quite smart. I absolutely enjoyed ROCCAT keyboards and mice (albeit, they were a bit pricey), but you really can't go wrong with the Turtle Beach Kone II. I think if anything, the ROCCAT component now integrated has made Turtle Beach more than just a company known for its audio devices but now a full fledged gaming company that will provide competition amongst the other giants in the competitive gaming device industry.The Turtle Beach Kone II – Wired Ergonomic RGB Gaming Mouse is recommended!

    Feature-rich Gaming Mouse, but Heavy

    The Turtle Beach Kone II Air Wireless Ergonomic RGB Gaming Mouse is a feature-rich, technologically gifted, beast of a mouse! However, it's pretty heavy, especially when it comes to gaming. The 110 grams vs the 68 grams on my lightweight gaming mouse is a big difference in perceived weight!I've tried to use it for FPS gaming purposes, but I just can't get over the weight of the mouse compared to my other lightweight mice. The specs on this mouse are great for any other applications, but not for FPS gameplay in my personal opinion.Otherwise, this is a great-looking feature-packed mouse! The ergonomic shape fits well in my hand, and the tactile buttons (Titan Optical Switches) are nice and crisp. The multi-function 4D scroll wheel can switch between tactile scrolling and free-spinning by utilizing the button between the scroll wheel and the DPI button. The DPI settings are easily and quickly adjusted via the DPI button just behind the scroll wheel button and easily identified by the color of the RGB lighting when depressed. The Owl-eye optical sensor is very responsive and accurate. The Easy-Shift button on the mouse expands Kone II Air's 7 buttons and 4D scroll wheel with tilt capability into 21 customizable functions, which is pretty wild! The included, but optional, grip tape was a nice touch. It isn't too aggressive, so the mouse is still comfortable to hold with it applied. It just gives you that little bit of extra grip on the mouse.The Kone II Air has the "Air" designation because it can be wireless. The tri-mode connectivity of the mouse is also another great feature. It can be operated wired via USB-C cable to the mouse, via 2.4 GHz wireless with the included USB adapter/dongle, or via Bluetooth. For gaming, wired or 2.4 GHz is the way to go. For casual or non-gaming applications, Bluetooth will suffice.Overall, the Kone II Air is a great mouse! If not for the weight, I would have given it 5 out of 5 stars. I can, however, understand the weight being justified when taking into account everything it can do. It's jam-packed with features, and the electronics to accommodate such features have to go somewhere. At the end of the day, it's a matter of personal preference.
