5.0 out of 5 stars good oil filled radiator
This is a very good heater for a lot of reasons1: it is very light weight compared to others2: the wheels aren’t too high so therefore offering more stability3: it doesn’t make noises like the older versions of different brands4: the thermostat is digital and will match the room temperature you set it to keeping it at that temperature all nightAll in all, I am most pleased with this heater
5.0 out of 5 stars Warms the room nicely
Despite the various claims, oil filled radiators are neither cheaper to run nor warmer than regular heaters. The oil inside does hold on to the heat and release it after the heater is switched off but equally, it soaks up some of the heat when it's cold. What it does do therefore is even out the release of heat with no rapid heating when it's switched on and no rapid cooling when it's switched off. This is a pretty efficient two-killowatt model with nine heating fins that's good for even relatively large rooms. It arrives safely packed into a large box and the only assembly is to snap on the two feet which have wheels attached. Apparently, the profile of the fins makes them more efficient but other than the assumption that more surface area means more efficient heat transfer I don't know how true that is. Also the interior design of the fins is supposed to offer efficiency gains that I can't check. You get a small but very neat remote control from which you can control power, heat and timer. There is a "mode" button too but I don't know what exactly that does. If the batteries run out or you lose the remote you can control the setting straight on the touch-sensitive panel. Settings are displayed clearly with white on black digits.Temperatures run from a frost-defeating 5 degrees up to a balmy 35 degrees and power can be cycled from 800 to 1200 to 2000 watts. For safety it will shut off if tipped. It does all the things a good heater should do and seemed to warm my room slightly quicker than my old one but it's really not easy to tell. They're not especially cheap to run until you compare the cost of heating just the room you're in to switching on the central heating to heat the whole house.Modern looking and with plenty of thought towards making it efficient it seems like a very nice heater that could be an economical alternative to heating the whole house.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great heater but poor instruction manual
This is a review of “Midea Oil-Filled Radiator - 9 Fin Electric Heater with Remote Control & LED Touch Screen - Efficient Heating, Overheat & Tip-Over Protection, 24h Timer, Quiet, Digital Thermostat, 2000W” , currently priced £69.99.We initially had trouble installing the feet as the instructions are poorly translated and the images are not clear. Eventually we worked out the wheels are not supposed to be equally spaced from each end of the heater and then we were able to get them to click on in the correct places.Similarly the images showing how to work it were confusing as initially we thought the image related to the remote control and the icons were just different. It turns out there are no instructions at all for the remote control and instead once you turn the heater up the large black circle one the end lights up and is actually a control screen, and this is what the instructions relate to. The instructions also include a rather disconcerting warning to use it for half an hour then unplug it and check the plug hasn’t got hot. Ours hadn’t but I wonder what has happened with others for this warning to be necessary…Once we’d worked out what the controls on the radiator and remote control do it was easy to use and heated up quickly. The timer seems to work as it should, but it stays hot for quite a while after it is turned off. We like the heater, but the instruction manual could really do with being clearer.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for the winter
We've been trying to do everything we can to reduce our heating bills, and one of those includes just heating the rooms that we're in for longer periods, rather than the whole house. Oil-filled radiators are perfect for this because they're portable and generate enough heat to warm a room. This oil-filled radiator with Arrowfly Heating Technology offers impressive efficiency, and it heats our bedroom faster than the older oil-filled radiator we'd been using. The U-shaped heating fins provide wider heat coverage and better heat conduction, ensuring warmth is distributed evenly across the room.A standout feature of this heater is its LED touch screen and remote control, which make adjusting settings incredibly convenient, including from comfort of the bed! You can select from three heating modes (800W, 1200W, 2000W) and customize the temperature range between 5°C and 35°C to suit your preferences. The 24-hour timer and quiet operation mode allows you to set it up and leave it running without worrying about it.Safety and portability are also well-considered in this design. The radiator features overheat protection, tip-over switch, and rounded edges, ensuring safe use around children and pets (a key consideration for us as we have two dogs). The caster wheels and handle make it easy to move from room to room, while the side-hidden power cord storage keeps your space tidy and clutter-free. Overall, this oil-filled radiator provides excellent warmth, user-friendly features, and safety measures, although its size may dictate where in your room you place it.
