    I got this for charging while out and about as we have a tethered charger at home.Comes with a bag, rubber caps to protect the ends, velcro straps to keep the cable neat and a very nice purple and grey cloth to errrr.... clean it I guess before you put it away!It's not too long so sits nicely in the boot not taking up too much space.Have only used it once and it works as expected. Car registered the 7kw connection and charged as quickly as I would expect. 5M is perfect for public chargers where you park right next to the charging station.Highly recommended.

    It really makes me feel unease when I see cars parked on the spots designated for EV charging, and you are cannot use the charger for your own car.Well, this extension cable will help you to avoid these situations. Essentially, this cable allows you to connect to the charging cable from the public EV charging station to the inlet of your car, effectively extending it for another 5m. The cable is using type 2 adaptor, which by now is used by most of the electric vehicles and charging stations as well.The quality on the cable is quite good and it is able to withhold the currents on the public EV charging stations without any issues.This is a good quality EV charging cable.

    Just so you know, I review products for Bolo, so I did not pay for this item. Having received it, here's what I thought:I have a BMW I3, the car changes all the time on a 7.4kw charger. I tested this and it worked as expected.I did have a problem with a charge point out and about but that's not unusual.The finish is good, the bag is nice, and the cleaning cloth is a bonus, clean your screen while it charges at 7kw if you like, you'll be there a while.I'd prefer this to have a 22kw rating to make it future-proof, or even an 11kw rating to maximise the speed from a 3-phase DC. I have seen other cables around the same price which have these features.No problem recommending the cable to deliver what it's designed to do. It looks nice as cables go too.

    As charging cables go this one certainly feels a punch above with the quality of how itโ€™s been made, there is a toughness and a resilience to the appearance and feel that provides a level of reassurance that the charging cable wonโ€™t let you down, and should last for a long time.The connections are perfect, the length is ample enough for the majority of users and the charge time does seem to be relatively fast and stable. Even using in the rain Iโ€™ve experienced no reduction in efficiency.Each end of the cable comes with a rubber protective cap which fits on like a glove. The carry case is okay, does the job but nothing particularly special about its quality.If youโ€™re in search of a Type 2 charging cable that supports a Max output of 7.4kW/32A, or the lower 3.6kW/16A then this product is definitely worth considering.

    When I purchased my EV i received an old cable so I wanted to replace it but some are just too expensive for me to contemplate buying,This cable came in a case with a cleaning cloth and the cable all neatly tied up. The valco helps to keep it tidy and it makes it easier to place back in the bag.I have found the connection to be reliable, having used the cable at home and at work it has worked as expected each time.There is plenty of flex in the cable to manoeuvre as you need to reach around your EV.Really pleased and I have found it a great price compared to others.
