5.0 out of 5 stars Great product and service
Lovely device, works as intended with not lagging. Customer service was quick to respond and my device was registered for an extended warranty.
5.0 out of 5 stars Really useful for managing workspace
I have both PC and Mac OS laptops with two monitors and this is a very seamless way of switching between without significant hassle. I can share resources via USB and use the foot switch (or hand switch) to move between. Especially helpful to those that know that Mac Office 365 is slightly different to windows and you need those additional MS OS feature sets for work - but prefer to work in Mac OS. ANyhow, switching made easy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works Great
This KVM switch works great and is extremely helpful as I have a work laptop and a desktop PC! Would definitely recommend!
4.0 out of 5 stars Useful 4K HDMI KVM Switch.
Short Story: The VEDINDUST KVM Switch (with a wired remote control) allows two computers to share one screen (up to 4K@60Hz resolution) and four USB 3.0 Sockets. The device utilises HDMI connections at a reasonable cost.Longer Story: A well-made metal box, this KVM HMDI switch from VEDINDUST supports resolutions up to 4k@60Hz. USB 3.0 cables connected to both PCs route through the switch, allowing the user to select which PC displays on the single shared monitor and has access to four USB-A 3.0 sockets and any device connected through them; these could be a mouse and Keyboard, an external drive, or a webcam. The VEDINDUST Switch also has a wired remote, and in the box are the two USB 3.0 A to A cables at about 1 metre in length to connect the two PCs and a DC 12V adaptor to power the switch. The construction is reasonable, given the main box is metal; I like that the USB 'hub' ports face forward, and so does the control-to-switch. The wired remote also connects here.Having these connections and controls to the front means a tidier cable run is possible if the device is on your desk, with peripherals like a mouse and keyboard connecting here and equally a memory stick or drive. There are two HDMI ports "in" along with the two USB 3.0 "in" connections running from the two PCs at the rear, as is the one HDMI out to the switched/shared monitor.I use a software program that connects my computers, Windows and Linux (although it could also be Mac), which can handle multiple computers using the same mouse and keyboard over my network. The experience is like moving between screens on an extended desktop.Provided there is a network to use (and that may not always be the case), it might appear this setup would make a device like this redundant, but it doesn't.This switch lets me control the computers with just one mouse and keyboard, physically switching between the two without the program running. However, I have three monitors; this switch means I can "share" the centre screen, giving the Windows or Linux PC an extended desktop, respectively, which is helpful depending on what task I am doing.I liked this switch and think it is a practical device. I find the price point (currently at £29.99) reflects this.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality product
This is perfect for your work or home work station. The switch supports 2 computers sharing 1 HD monitor and 4 USB devices. So everything you need works uninterrupted and is stable. Great quality product that does exactly what is advertised. Very pleased with this.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent USB & HDMI Switching hub
HDMI KVM Switch 2 x 1N.B. The specific switch I am using does not seem to be available any longer on this listing at the time of review - please check my image for the device I testedDevices testedLenovo X1 Yoga Carbon Gen 3Lenovo T14ContextI have a slightly unusual setup where I have an ultrawide monitor on my desk which I connect to my laptops through 2 different hubs.1. I have a regular Aukey USB C hub which I use when using either my work (T14) or personal laptop (X1) for general tasks2. I have an eGPU which I connect up predominantly to my personal laptop for photo editing or gaming. Now the challenge has been that when I switch from the hub to my GPU, I have to manually change the input source on my monitor and also switch my USB peripherals manually as well. Definitely a first world problem, but annoying nevertheless, especially on days where I do this a few times.BuildThe switch is well built and made from metal with clearly labelled ports with a high contrast white text on black metal design. A wired button is also provided, although I am not currently using it.UsageWith this new switch, HDMI out is connected to my monitor and HDMI in is connected to my USB-C hub and my eGPU. My USB peripherals (mouse/keyboard, headset and webcam) are all connected via the front of the switch and both the hub and eGPU are connected into the switch via USB too.Now when I transition from hub to eGPU, all I need to do is press the button on the front of the switch and the monitor input is changed as well as the USB peripherals. I can also have one laptop connected to the hub and one to the eGPU and quickly switch back and forth. This is useful if I have a background photography export running during the workday. In my few weeks of testing, the device has worked flawlessly and has definitely improved my workflow.
