I can't believe how much this smart watch from BIGGERFIVE does, especially for the price. The strap is designed to fit a range of wrist sizes with holes along its whole length. It's longer than my (adult) watch strap and even fits my husband, comfortably. The watch can be used with or without the Bigger Five app, although there are more functions with the app, which is colourful and very easy to use.The watch is great to look at, not too chunky, and has a smart colourful screen featuring planets when turned on (or several other colourful screens which can be selected from the settings menu, or many more via the app, including your own pictures). It records and monitors steps throughout the day, displayed as a colourful graph, as well as heart rate and blood oxygen SATS, all of which are very useful for monitoring health, keeping fit or even just for reassurance. There are settings for activities such as running, martial arts, gymnastics, tennis, basketball, hockey, skateboarding, skiing, surfing, football etc - it will work out calories consumed as well. There's also a setting for workouts, and to measure sleep quality. It can also be used as a watch, with alarm, stopwatch and timer, and there's no reason why it can't be used equally by children, teens or adults.The watch is easy to charge, and there's a power saving mode if you're running low. It can be set to silent, to ring or vibrate to alert you to incoming phone calls and alerts (when using with the app). It's a gentle vibration, not too disturbing - I really like that it's both easier to hear and less harsh on the ears than a ring tone (I have hearing loss so my 'phone's ring tone is set to very loud, then I worry about it making everyone jump, but with vibration from the watch this isn't an issue); the same is true of the alarm, which is very easy to set and can be timed for any combination of selected days of the week. It can be worn whilst swimming or showering ('though not diving or sea swimming), and has 5 small games to play. The colourful displays are intuitive and easy to navigate around. All-in-all we're both impressed!

Our son has been testing this for us in the last couple of weeks and it has proved to be so popular with him that he wears it day and night - and only takes it off for charging ! The IP68 waterproof rating has performed as expected, as he has worn it on long cycle rides with us in heavy rain storms and it continues to function perfectly. In use, it has a very secure and comfortable strap which helps it lay flat against his wrist despite it looking quite large on his arm. The screen is large enough for him to operate the functions easily and has the nice feature of being able to swap between different home-screen designs. There is a small side button/bar, although most activities are touch-screen controlled from the simple menus. Without linking the watch to the phone app, there is a good range of features immediately available - sports, heart rate and activity monitors, plus a useful sleep monitor and a handful of simple games. Linking the watch to the phone app (which I was able to download easily) gives access to extra features such as parental controls, message and call reminders - plus dozens and dozens of extra sports modes. Our son has found the watch easy and informative to use... the fact that he is still enjoying exploring its multiple functions reflects just how successful the watch has been. This is a very competent starter Smart watch for a child, currently at a very sensible price-point which would make an excellent gift !

Review of ## BIGGERFIVE Kids Smart Watch, 1.8" Fitness Watch Pedometer ##A smart looking well made childrens watch that has plenty of features.I have another of these that looks similar to this unit and so I am familiar using an app that goes with it. The Biggerfive app that this watch uses is very similar and has the same controls and setting that many other smartwatches of this type have. The Smart watch connects with it easily and setting it up is easy.The watch has many functions including Heart Rate Monitor, Sleep Tracker which seem to read well enough but this is not, and does not pretend to be a medical device so the accuracy of the reading can't be relied on but give a good indication of change of rates.The pedometer function is similar to the one I already use and the step count is on a par with it but again it works best for comparison from one day to another rather than an absolute reading.The watch has a good alarm and timer.To increase the battery life it is good to turn off the 'raise to wake' function. This does mean that you need to press the button to see the face light up but this increases the time between charges considerably and I can now get at least two weeks between charges which is excellent.The watch face can be changed, this is good because some of the faces are very poor but it is easy to find a free one to load on the watch and this can be done easily via the app.If you do not want a watch that connects to the app this watch works very well in a stand alone configuration but of course some of the functionality is lost but it is still a great choice.
Everything you need for a kids watch
This is fantastic, has everything that my 700 $ watch has plus much more. My son loves it, always tracking his steps and activities. Battery lasts 3 days easily.Just one quick thing to consider, it's on the bigger side than what it looks in the images. More like an apple watch 10 size.Couldn't be happier.

Este ano foram proibidos telemóveis e relógios com cartão SIM.Claro que também foram proibidos os relógios inteligentes com jogos, e foi isso que me chamou a atenção neste em particular.Conseguimos usar com e sem APP. Se usarmos sem APP é um relógio "normal", sem cartão SIM mas como muitas características interessantes.Tem o que é normal no relógio, alarmes, calendário, cronómetro, etc. E tem depois outras características que o distinguem como a resistência à água IP68 e medição de frequência cardíaca, para além de ter acompanhamento do sono, entre outras coisas como a medição do SPO2.Claro que para o meu filho isto nao importa muito como para os adultos, no entanto ele ficou cativado pelo monitor do sono e o Pedómetro.Se utilizarmos com a APP que se faz download das lojas oficiais da Google e Apple, o que transmite confiança, podemos acompanhar todas estas coisas e também, personalizar uma outra série de coisas.Podemos adicionar outros mostradores à escolha de uma grande variedade, podemos alterar o que medimos ou não no relógio das features de monitorização ao nível da saúde.Podemos também escolher se o telemóvel tem ou não jogos.Esta funcionalidade tem uma opção para mostrar ou não os jogos, não funcionou mas pode numa próxima actualização.No entanto quando proibimos a sua utilização e se tenta aceder, mostra uma mensagem a indicar que é preciso ligar à aplicação para activar os jogos. O que para mim já é positivo.Temos também uma grande variedade de desportos à escolha, dos mais diversos e normais que podemos encontrar neste tipo de dispositivos.Isso passa depois tudo para a APP, e no meu caso, consigo acompanhar o foi feito.Para configurar basta instalar a APP e colocar o relógio a carregar para activar. Depois é só sincronizar com o telefone e fica adicionado.Caso não se pretenda usar juntamente com a APP escolhemos a primeira página que aparece, se quisermos basta adicionar o relógio com o código de barras na segunda página, dentro da APP no tab dos dispositivos.Este já é o segundo modelo que compro com receio que ele perca o anterior ou o roubem, apesar disso ele prefere a bacelete anterior e aqui é possível facilmente mudar. Pelas medições que fiz tem 21mm de largura, existem muita variedade na própria Bolo.Gostei bastante, confesso que apesar de ser à prova de água não vamos usar na piscina porque a pulseira neste modelo em particular, é de tecido e tem velcros, mesmo que sintéticos, não vai levar para a natação.Muito surpreendido com o funcionamento e com as funcionalidades, para além de ter uma APP com muitas configurações para além do controle parental.Recomendo!!!
