    It's nice to try a product which is both for anti ageing AND skin clearing because I'm a 49 year old whose battling the years but also STILL prone to clusters of spots (oh, hello hormones!).I know Paula's Choice to be a trustworthy brand because I have used their sunscreens before. I do quite like this. The bright yellow colour is a little off-putting, and visible on application, but it fades away and disappears under a further helping of moisturiser and make up.The current price of £63 is pretty hefty for 30ml of product, and I think I'll have to wait a full month before I see if this serum is effective in preventing my hormonal breakouts – but I very much like it so far for its moisturising qualities. As I have been using retinol-type products for a while, I haven't needed to build up to the 3x per week treatment – but as a newbie I would recommend you do. I don't wholly understand the very extensive list of ingredients!

    I know Paula's Choice is a good brand because I have read Paula Begoun's books over the years. And I have also spent a lot of time on the website where I learned about skincare ingredients. The Paula's Choice brand brings all that knowledge into an effective skincare range.When using this product, I apply it to my skin after cleansing and before applying moisturiser. One pump spreads evenly all over my face.Before using any retinol product, it's always advisable to start small as it can cause some irritation in the beginning. However, this will pass as your skin gets used to the concentration.Also, because the skin takes at least 28 days to renew itself, it's important to use this serum consistently, and be patient because it will take a little time to see results.Suffice it to say though that vitamin A in the form of retinoids like the one in this product are one of the few that have been proven to work at reducing lines and wrinkles, and helping to reduce the appearance of acne.

    Paula's Choice is an iconic brand which uses powerful ingredients and formulations to target particular skin concerns. This particular product offers a dual function, namely to help improve ageing skin as well as a clearer complexion.This has a light creamy texture and is yellow in colour. It only takes a couple of pumps to cover my face and it feels really nice on my skin. As with any retinoid, if you aren't used to them start of using just once or twice a week and build up the frequency of use over a few weeks. I am used to retinoids but still started off just using it twice a week before increasing to every other night just to be sure my skin was tolerating this particular formulation. I have had no adverse reactions to it.While it has a light creamy texture, it leaves my skin feeling nicely nourished. My skin feels smoother and softer and looks brighter. It's too soon to say what the longer term benefits will be with regards to its anti ageing claims but my skin does look clearer and feels really nice. Always remember to use SPF daily when using retinoids as they can make skin more sensitive to UV rays.

This treatment aims to tackle fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone using a combination of retinaldehyde, a potent retinoid, and other skin-benefiting ingredients.All the ingredients and claims of what the ingredients do are all in the product description so I won’t repeat it all again here. I’ll just detail my personal experience of using the product.First off, this product should be introduced slowly into a skincare routine (e.g., 2-3 times a week) gradually increasing to every evening as tolerated. As I’m used to Retinoid products, I did use daily from day one, but I advise others to use follow the directions and build up gradually. I had no adverse effects, but I don’t have sensitive skin.The treatment is of a lightweight, creamy texture. The formula is designed to absorb quickly, leaving no greasy residue, and is suitable for most skin types, especially those familiar with retinoid use. It has a yellow tinge but this disappears once absorbed into the skin.For morning use I apply after cleansing and toning but before moisturising. It is strongly advised to use a sunscreen over the top as Retinoid can make the skin more sensitive to sunlight. After applying the sunscreen I then go ahead and apply makeup.For evening use, again apply after cleansing and toning but before moisturising.I like the way the treatment leaves my skin feeling hydrated even before applying moisturiser. It leaves my skin looking and feeling smooth which is the best I can hope for at my age.As with all beauty treatments, results will vary wildly from person to person, but one can probably expect gradual but noticeable improvements with continued use over time.True to Paula’s Choice values, this treatment is not tested on animals and contains no added fragrances, making it ideal for sensitive skin or those who avoid synthetic scents. This is a big plus!

    Ich verwende das Serum nun seit einiger Zeit und finde die Anwendung und die Ergebnisse sehr gut. Meine Haut sieht straffer und ebenmäßiger aus. Meine Hautstruktur hat sich verbessert, und die Poren erscheinen kleiner und die Haut bricht weniger aus.Durch die eingekapselte Form des Retinaldehyds scheint der Wirkstoff besser verträglich und verursacht keine Irritationen.Das Serum hat eine gelbliche Farbe, und fühlt sich mehr wie eine Creme an. Man muss aufpassen, dass man nicht mehr als 1-2 Pumpstöße auf dem Gesicht verteilt. Es zieht sehr schnell ein, fühlt sich leicht an und ist parfumfrei, was ein klarer Vorteil ist.Der Granatapfelextrakt verleiht der Haut einen gesunden Glow und unterstützt die Kollagenproduktion. Bei empfindlicher Haut sollte man unbedingt der empfohlenen Anwendung folgen und mit dreimal pro Woche starten und dann steigern.Ein wichtiger Hinweis: Tagsüber sollte man unbedingt auf Sonnenschutz achten. Insgesamt kann ich das Serum empfehlen, wenn man kein Problem mit den hohem Preis und es sich leisten kann.

    Ich bin absolut begeistert von diesem Serum! Schon nach wenigen Wochen Anwendung sehe ich einen deutlichen Unterschied in meiner Haut. Die Kombination aus Retinaldehyd und Oleyl-Adapalenat ist wirklich beeindruckend – feine Linien und Falten sind sichtbar reduziert und meine Haut sieht straffer und ebenmäßiger aus. Ich habe empfindliche, zu Unreinheiten neigende Haut und war zuerst etwas vorsichtig, Retinoide auszuprobieren. Doch dank der eingekapselten Form von Retinaldehyd habe ich keinerlei Irritationen oder Trockenheit verspürt. Das Serum fühlt sich leicht an, zieht schnell ein und hinterlässt ein angenehmes Hautgefühl. Es ist zudem komplett parfumfrei, was ein großer Pluspunkt für meine empfindliche Haut ist. Ein weiterer großer Vorteil ist die Wirksamkeit bei unreiner Haut. Schon nach wenigen Anwendungen konnte ich eine Verbesserung meiner Hautstruktur und eine Verringerung von vergrößerten Poren feststellen. Die Antioxidantien, insbesondere der Granatapfelextrakt, geben der Haut einen gesunden Glow und unterstützen die Kollagenproduktion. Anfangs habe ich es dreimal wöchentlich benutzt, wie empfohlen und konnte die Anwendung problemlos steigern. Wichtig ist natürlich der Sonnenschutz am Tag, um die Haut zu schützen. Ich kann es nur empfehlen und werde es definitiv weiterhin verwenden!

    Das Paula's Choice CLINICAL Pro Retinaldehyde Dual-Retinoid Treatment soll ein hochwirksames Anti-Aging-Serum sein und gleichzeitig unreine Haut bekämpfen. Das Serum ist für alle Hauttypen geeignet, selbst für empfindliche Haut wird es empfohlen. Dank des Pumpspenders lässt es sich hygienisch entnehmen und ist leicht zu dosieren. Das Serum hat eine gelbe Farbe, lässt sich gut verteilen und zieht gut ein. Ich habe bisher keine Hautirritationen festgestellt, nutze es zweimal in der Woche am Abend. Da ich das Serum erst seit knapp 3 Wochen teste, habe ich keine großartigen Ergebnisse feststellen können. Der Preis des Serums ist mir leider viel zu hoch, daher ist es für mich kein Nachkaufprodukt.

    Dieses Serum zieht sehr schnell ein und versorgt meine trockene Haut mit angenehmer Feuchtigkeit. Meine Haut fühlt sich sofort gekühlt und weich an.Das Produkt sind sehr ergiebig, schon eine kleine Menge reicht aus, um die Hautstellen mit dem Serum zu versorgen. Aufgrund des Pumpspenders lässt sich eine beliebige Menge dosiert entnehmen.Meine Haut ist nach der regelmäßigen Nutzung des Produktes insgesamt geschmeidiger geworden & sieht gesünder aus. Zudem vertrage ich dieses Produkt gut auf meiner sensiblen Gesichtshaut, dies ist bei anderen Produkten oft nicht der Fall.
