    This scented candle from brand "PPIFAS" is very decorative. The container the candle is poured in is a nice cut, coloured glass. In this case the glass is green. It has a lid but thankfully the lid, whilst adding to the overall attractiveness of the presentation, doesn't actually take up too much 'real estate' and the bulk of the unit is candle. The manufacturer isn't pulling a fast one by adding a lid but having the lid be half the size of the overall product!The lid on this candle has a finial built into it. It is purely decorative of course but makes the unit a little taller than it needs to be. Lid on, and including finial, the whole candle is 14 centimetres high. Lid off this becomes a touch under 8.5 centimetres high. The candle is quite stout though and the diameter of the whole glass (again lid off) is 8.5 centimetres. Lid back on the whole candle has some heft to if what with is being made from glass. Out of curiosity I put it on my digital kitchen scale and it weighs 648 grams. Hefty indeed!Fragrance-wise this specific candle is floral and zesty in my opinion. I have here the "Blossom Garden" variety and it is genuinely one of the more flowery smelling candles I have ever owned. Being floral the scent is fairly gender-neutral of course, although if you were old-fashioned you may say it would appeal more to ladies than gentlemen.Overall I'm happy personally. I am a 41 year old bloke but I've always liked smelly things like scented candles and the like. I would be happy to give or receive this as a gift, I am not put off by the floral scent at all.

    This Citrus Herbaceous & Lavendery Sage candle is absolutely perfect! The scent is a wonderful blend of citrus and sage, with just the right hint of lavender—it fills the room with a fresh, calming aroma that isn’t overpowering. The large jar lasts a long time, making it great for regular use, and the organic soy wax burns cleanly and evenly. I love using it in my bedroom for a relaxing atmosphere, but it also works well in the living room or bathroom.The candle itself is beautifully designed and makes a lovely decor piece. It would make a great gift for both men and women, with a fresh scent that anyone could enjoy. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a high-quality aromatherapy candle that looks as good as it smells!

    Item being reviewed: PPIFAS Lavender Lemon Scented Candles, Gifts for Women Men, Large Jar Candle for Home Scented, Aromatherapy Candle, Natural Soy Wax Scented Candle for Relaxing & Calming, Fresh Spring Scent.Price at time of order / review: Candle is normally £19.99, on sale for £17.99.We bought a hand-made candle in a VERY similar jar at a craft fair for about 2/3 the price of this one. Same size, just a different color and a slightly different lid that fits much better than this one. This one fits so badly I honestly wonder if they put the wrong one on the jar. Given both facts (especially since hand-made tends to costs much more) I can't believe this costs as much as it does. Good thing (IF you get a better fitting lid than I did) that you can at least reuse the jar. Cotton buds is what I'm thinking. The candle itself smells lovely and the other scents available all sound like they'd be just as nice. Personally, I won't be buying them until the price is much lower.

    This spicy cinnamon pumpkin soy wax candle is in a beautiful decorative glass jar that evokes childhood memories of my Grandmother's dressing table and her decorative glass collection.The jar is a good size and the lid has a finial making it easy to lift off. The candle has a lovely smell and has a burn time of up to 60 hours.This arrived extremely well protected (inset in polystyrene) and the design of the outer packaging makes it ideal for gifting.At the time of ordering, this was priced at £17.99 (with a further 10% off voucher available) making this good value for money.

    This candle comes in a styrofoam pack cardboard box and contained in a glass jar with a glass lid.It looks very attractive, and smells a whole lot stronger than I expected.While unlit, it still helps perfume a room (if the lid is off), and it looks fabulous.It is taller than the listing photos make it appear.I'm quite loving this.

    I got the lavender candle as a gift for a colleague who absolutely loved it, as she loves most things lavender. The candle is pretty big and the item description claims it can burn for quite a long time, like 60 hours. The glass jar that houses the candle is beautiful itself, so this would definitely make a great gift idea.

    It's such a shame the internet hasn't developed the ability to transmit smell. Nor always because things smell great but sometimes so you know what doesn't. These candles come in a lovely if slightly old fashioned glass container like something grandma used to keep on her dressing table. It does beautifully refract the light though, and being glass it can still be used for a variety of things once the candle has burnt down, some 60 hours later. I opted to try Starry Serenade which states that it delivers "citrus and lime. Lavender and sage instill a sense of calm, gathers aromatic notes of traditional herbs to create a mellow scent."It's nice but perhaps a little too herb-heavy for me. It's very well done and the scent is amazing, it just doesn't quite hit the spot for my personal tastes. A bit more citrus may have helped.Being Soy-based the candle puts less harmful material into the air (VOCs), and so is less irritating to those with respiratory problems and for lungs in general.A terrific gift especially for candle lovers.
