4.0 out of 5 stars Super uniqe
This HUEL drink is a super unique different fizzy drink that I've not had before. The watermelon tastes a little strawberry-like but still is an excellent flavour. The bottles are lovely and the drink tastes amazing chilled. The 100mg of caffeine makes it feel like a healthier alternative to other energy drinks. The value for money is great considering the number of tins you get. There is an abundance of extra vitamins and minerals in this which makes you feel much healthier and happier than most energy drinks as well, all extra vitamins and minerals have a decent RI which makes it beneficial and not a gimmick like some other companies. There are no concerning ingredients In this drink so overall this drink is a healthy choice. The only thing I wish this product had no caffeine so I could consume it more times during the day instead of just in the morning. I also believe having this too quickly can make the drink taste a little sickly with the flavour.
5.0 out of 5 stars Refreshing and re-energising drink.
I'm not a fan of energy drinks generally, as I don't like the taste or the caffeine content. However I really liked these Huel drinks, they didn't taste like energy drinks at all. They were fruity and fizzy with no strange artificial flavour. These drinks are lower in caffeine and contains multivitamins and minerals. I drank one on gym days and I really noticed the difference with my fatigue levels. They work well for ne, and I am definitely going to keep buying them.
5.0 out of 5 stars Tasty
I confess I had never heard of Huel until I ordered these cans. I thought Huell was the rotund chap from Breaking Bad!No but in all seriousness these cans are tall and skinny (unlike Huell) but are 330ml which is the volume of a regular drinks can. They have an average ring-pull opening. I was sure to thoroughly refrigerate my first can before I drank it for the first time...The drink is fizzy/sparkling and in my opinion the taste was fruity and delicious. It put me to mind of a nicer and less bitter version of the old drink Lilt. The pineapple was strongest but I feel that the addition of the mango helped take the edge off the slightly bitter kick you can sometimes get with pineapple. The mango came through more in the aftertaste I found. Now look, this brand & drink also claims to be packed with Vitamins and goodness. I can't really either confirm or deny this personally I'm just some dude not a scientist but what I would say is that in my opinion if you wanted to see benefits from this you would most likely have to drink more than 12 cans of it anyway. But what do I know?!I'm happy here. As a Huel newbie I was impressed and quite delighted by the lovely fruity flavour. I would for sure be interested in ordering more again, however fortunately I have 11 cans left so won't have to place any orders just yet!
4.0 out of 5 stars Lovely fruity drink with a gentle caffeine kick
This refreshing and fruity blend of pineapple and mango offers an enjoyable taste experience, though it leans a bit on the sweet side. I like the light fizz and the fact that it isn’t overly fluorescent like some drinks. While the sweetness can be slightly overpowering – owing to the sucralose – it’s tolerable in moderation. The inclusion of various vitamins and minerals makes this a suitable option for busy days, especially when you need a gentle caffeine boost without feeling jittery. I've found it quite handy before my morning hill walks or after a strenuous DIY project in the garden. However, I’d prefer it to be slightly less sweet and more refreshing. With these in mind, it’s still a pleasant, low-calorie drink that helps me stay revitalised and focused, even during my financial analysis marathons.
5.0 out of 5 stars Quite pleasant, tastes fruity, bit sweet for me
Mine is the Pineapple and Mango flavour. It’s a light yellowish colour, not vivid and florescent like some of these drinks tend to be. It has a good level of fizz, but not too much. The best before date is around 10 months away.Ingredients all sound fairly good and there's a reasonable amount of actual juice in it. I like that the caffeine isn't too strong, because I'm not especially into the whole energy drink thing. This seems to be a one stop route to all your daily vitamins and essential minerals. It’s low calorie, vegan and gluten free. It tastes fruity and you get the pineapple and mango, but it's still a bit on the sweet side for me.I’m still a quite happy to drink it though.
5.0 out of 5 stars Tasty way to boost your energy
I already liked Huel as a brand, and was keen to give this a try. It's delicious! It tastes like a lovely, fruity, lightly sparkling drink, as opposed to an energy drink. However, thanks to the 100mg of caffeine (which is roughly the same as a cup of coffee), it works as an excellent pick-me-up.Usually, I find you have to compromise either on taste or energy with these kinds of drinks. But this gives you a decent dose of both.
4.0 out of 5 stars A little too sweet for my taste, but quite pleasant
The first sip of these is really quite nice - it's a very fruity flavour and indeed surprising to drink something tasting so sweet but only 30 calories per can. This is down to the sucralose though which I find gets a little sickly after a while. I've found that while I enjoyed the start of each can, by the end, I'm looking for some water to wash the taste away which is a shame, but then again I really do NOT have a sweet tooth. The cans contain an assortment of vitamins and minerals and caffeine but they are also quite expensive at nearly £2/can.
