This rake-cleaning litter box is great - when used with clumping cat litter it scoops out all lumps, clumps and poops and stores them in a separate waste bin. Usually I would manually scoop the litter tray three times a day, but not having to scoop on a morning or when I come in from work has been a god send! My cats cute, but his gifts aren't and not having to face his demons at 6am on a morning is bliss.The tray is large, but not too large compared to my old litter tray and is very low maintenance.. typically I empty the waste bin about once a week as its really good at keeping those nasty smells sealed away!

I have to say i was worried when the box came as it was huge then when i opened it i saw that the box was huge to contain the huge litter tray. You really do have to have the space for this litter tray as it takes up a lot of valuable floor space.I am going to assume that this litter tray is aimed at a multi cat household as i think it's too much just for one cat.The litter tray uses clumping litter but the tray in which to put the litter is very shallow, much shallower than an ordinary litter tray. We set up the litter tray and had it alongside the old tray to get the cats used to it, we even tipped water onto the litter to get it to clump and activated the cleaning cycle. The cats hated it, the high sides that they have to jump over to get in and the noise were just too much.I have a neighbour who has cats so i cleaned it out and gave it to her for a week to try and would you believe it her 3 cats used it from day one.I think the success of the litter tray will come down to the cat or cats that are using it but it's a lot of money wasted if the cats won't use it.

As a multi-cat household i was very keen to try this however we haven’t really got on very well with it.Firstly the size is enormous, when the box arrived it was up to my waist so I was expecting it had a lot of packing material round it , but no, the surround of the tray is huge but the tray for the litter itself is small and quite shallow.We have 2 big 7kg cats and 1 smaller older cat. The older cat will not use this tray. The section that flips up to contain the waste litter is at the front and she won’t climb in over it. The other 2 have used it but prefer to use their older tray which we left nearby temporarily (as advised with other automatic trays) whilst introducing this new one. It is also quite noisy particularly when the rake reaches either end of travel as there is a clonk sound. This scared my cats for the first few days.The set up instructions are non existent. The paper leaflet links to an online video that shows you how to take it apart to clean, but no set up tips. Also I felt the plastic of this tray feels thin, bendy and not great quality. The colour reminds me of an old fashioned printer.Another down side is that the rake sits within the tray, one of our cats is a prolific digger and twice now he has got his claws/paw caught in the rake and had to tug it to get it free. The first time he must have dislodged the rake from it’s fixing as it ended up getting stuck at an angle across the tray whilst going through the cleaning run, it took a lot of effort to manage to get it relocated as it was wedged.The other issue is that despite using really good quality litter that clumps well in the normal tray. The shallow depth of this tray combined with the fact it triggers 10 minutes after the cat uses it doesn’t seem sufficient for the litter to clump properly. It keeps getting clumped onto the rake and also there are quite a few small lumps of broken up wet litter spread throughout the box. When the litter is up to the full mark initially it also scoops a lot of clean litter into the box.Overall I feel this is expensive for what it is, it doesn’t not seem to contain smell as well as their standard covered litter tray, although maybe the covered version of this would be better.

Well worth the money, I have been thinking about getting one of these for a long time but always wondered if it was worth it, but I can assure you it is.With the automatic cleaning, I have started to save on Cat Litter as I use a lot less than I was using before, as the automated litter sends the filter through the Cat Litter when the sensor is triggered.This has been a god send while we've been on Holidays as I can now leave the Cat Litter to be changed/filtered automatically.I can then simply empty and refill on my arrival back home.The Pet Safe litter tray is very well made and feels robust enough to be well used for years before needing any sort of part replacement etc. it definitely feels built to last. I followed the Guide that came with the Litter tray to get my cats used to it in their environment and have them use this one, instead of their old one and it worked a treat, the cats are now well away with their new litter tray and love it as much as I do.Would 100% recommend getting one if your thinking about it.
Ho dovuto fare il reso...
Non so se era un difetto, ma la griglia non scorreva per tutto il percorso della lettiera e si bloccava a metà e quindi ho fatto il reso. Bolo da questo punto di vista è eccezionale, ma la lettiera no! Che peccato. Ho sperato tanto che funzionasse
