5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent budget laser level
I generally use a vastly more expensive laser level and laser receiver, but due to their cost wanted something more economical for day to day use, and this model at £29.99 looked ideal. It arrives in a good box with preformed padding around it which holds it well. As the unit doesn't ship with an carry case I will be using this box for that purposes as it's easy to put back in the box.It arrives with a magnetic mount that fixes to its camera bolt and batteries. It's surprisingly small compared to my other unit but that's an advantage. It has both automatic levelling and fixed modes, and the latter is often missing from laser levels despite it being very useful for matching the line of existing items that are not vertical or horizontal. The lock also means the laser part is securely held when not in use. There are 4 brightness levels and the most powerful is very good.. Sadly there is no option for only horizontal or vertical beams which I like to use, but that's not a deal breaker. In use it provided accurate levels compared to both my existing unit and high end spirit levels.I also tried its pulsed mode with my existing laser receiver which extends the useful range and is also great for laying out markers and it worked fine with it.In summary this is a great little level and good value.
5.0 out of 5 stars A Well Presented, Good Quality, Bright LASER Level Making Setting Out in Large and Small Spaces Easy
This LASER Level is delivered in a smart cardboard box protected from damage by hard foam. I recommend you use the box to keep the delicate device safe. The device looks well made and comes with a pair of AA cells, a mounting bracket and a book of instructions.I attached the instructions which give clear information about the various settings available and how to get to them, but Bolo insisted I remove them for some reason. When not in use the level should be locked which prevents the inner workings being damaged by shocks. It is unlocked by sliding the large switch on the side of the device to the rear. As well as unlocking it this turns on the LASER. It should be handled carefully in the unlocked position, not only to protect the mechanism, but also to ensure the LASER is not directed towards anyone’s eyes.If the level is not mounted approximately level (within 4°) the small light on top of the device flashes red and the green lines of the LASER flash along with it. This indicates the reading is not accurate and the level’s angle should be adjusted until the light on top turns green and the LASER is steady. It is good that the LASER also indicates it is out of plum, as in certain use positions the light on top will be difficult to see.If the top button is pressed for five seconds when the device is in the locked mode the LASER will be turned on without the self-levelling device and the cross beams can be angled to any position. The LASER pulses every 5s to indicate it is not in the self-levelling mode. Another long press turns it off.If the button on top is quickly pressed the brightness of the LASER can be reduced to save power - there are four settings; full, 70%, 45% and 20%.As it comes the LASER level is of little use. It needs to be mounted at the height required for the measurement. To facilitate this it has a standard 1/4” mount to attach it to a tripod. It also comes with a bracket which enables the level to be mounted on any ferrous surface using magnets - it also has a screw hole so you can attach it to a wooden upright. In use the level was bright and accurate, allowing me to easily set up vertical and horizontal lines. If you have a lot of pictures to get in line around a large room this will be a very welcome addition to your tool kit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tile laying made easy
Doing up my kitchen this gadget was a great find, it's magnetic and a strong one at that. I used this to help keep my stick on tiles straight along the walls. It had a bright clear light that works on almost all surfaces I tried.I like the fact it comes with a clamp that could be easily attached to a work bench/ladder or so on.Very pleased with this, it made a tricky task easy I'm looking forward to trying it with the wall paper.
5.0 out of 5 stars Bright, Accurate, and Easy to Use
This CIGMAN green laser level has been a fantastic tool for my DIY projects. I've used it for everything from hanging pictures and shelves to installing cabinets, and it's made those tasks so much easier and more accurate. The green laser is incredibly bright and visible, even in daylight. It's much easier to see than the red lasers on some other levels I've used. The self-leveling feature is a real time-saver. You just turn it on, and it automatically levels itself within seconds. It also has a manual mode if you need to project lines at an angle. The accuracy of this level is impressive. I've double-checked its readings with a spirit level, and it's spot on. The 30m range is more than enough for indoor use, and the pulse mode extends that to 50m with a receiver (which I haven't needed yet). The included mounting bracket is handy for attaching the level to various surfaces, and the battery life seems to be pretty good so far. Overall, I'm really happy with this CIGMAN laser level. It's accurate, easy to use, and the bright green laser is a major plus. If you're looking for a reliable laser level for your DIY projects, I'd definitely recommend this one.
Great, compact self-leveling laser-level with optional bracket & standard tripod-mount.
I have a manual laser level which is fine, but this self-leveling laser level is much faster and easier to use (because I don’t have to manually level the laser beam with a bubble-level). This Cigman laser-level runs on 2 AA batteries. Two alkaline AA batteries are included but I ran it on 2 AA NiMH rechargeable batteries, no problem. The laser has 4 brightness levels.A magnetic L-shaped bracket is included, in case you want to attach the laser-level to a steel surface. Otherwise you can set it on a fairly level surface or mount it to a tripod. It will self-level if it’s fairly level, but if it’s not within its self-leveling range, it will flash until you place it within its self-leveling range. At that point the laser crosshairs will be perfect. It does not come with a case. This thing is great--- compact and intuitive. Great product at a good price ($26.99 at the time of this review), so I’m giving it 5-stars.
Very bright laser even in daylight. Pendulum leveling works great. Batteries included!
The media could not be loaded. I had so many jobs that could have used an auto-leveling laser. This is one of those items that everyone should just keep one at home for those occasions you need to hang a picture, etc. I'm so glad I finally ordered one to add to my toolbox! The Cigman Laser level was well packaged in a foam lined box. You get the laser, a "L" bracket, two AA batteries and an instruction booklet. The laser itself is very compact, smaller than some tape measures. On end end there is a window to the laser. On top there is power button, which can also be used to set the mode (energy saving, pulse) of the laser. There is also an indicator light beside this button to tell you when the laser is level. On the bottom there is a standard threaded hole to mount on a tripod or on the "L" bracket. On the side there is a single sliding switch that either locks or unlocks the pendulum inside. Lastly the battery compartment is located on the back/bottom corner. It's made of, what feels like, durable plastic. No give when you press down on the side. Same for the L bracket. It is made of solid plastic. There is a single bolt that can be slid along one side of the "L" for mounting the laser level. On the other side of the "L" there are strong magnets so you can attach it to metallic surfaces. There is also a hanger hole if you need to mount it to a wall using a screw. Overall, I think the quality is excellent. After installing the batteries you can long press the power button to turn the laser on. It defaults to the brightest setting, which is easily viewable in daylight. You can single press the power button again to lower the brightness (energy saving mode). Even at low it can be seen in a bright room, but at less distance. The laser uses a pendulum inside to do the leveling. There is a slider switch that can lock the pendulum in place. If you lock it the laser cannot auto-level. The indicator LED by the power switch will be lit red. I guess in this mode you can take a level yourself and level the beam, good if you want to use the laser for angles and such. There is also a "pulse" mode when the pendulum is locked, which can be activated by long pressing the power button. The manual says this is useful when using the level outdoors as it will give higher brightness. If you unlock the pendulum though the laser will try to auto-level. Since it's such a compact device the pendulum cannot swing very much so it can only auto-level to a degree. In this case only +/-3 degrees. This means you need to manually try and get the laser as level as possible, then let the pendulum make the last bit level. The indicator light will help here as it will light red when it cannot level, and then green once you have gotten the level to within the pendulum tolerance. At that point the auto-leveler will level the laser. So there is a bit of work as the user here. You can't just place the level any which way and expect it to level for you. Once you get it close though, the leveler works great! Honestly it's pretty easy to use and to get it right.All-in-all the Cigman works great! It's built well and the laser is super bright. I don't really have any cons for this item. It even ships with batteries included, which is a rarity these days. Maybe one wish is it came with a case to protect the plastic window to the laser. Now this isn't one of the big and very expensive auto-leveling lasers you see the pro's use. This, I think, is more for home use, and useful at that. Just to set that expectation out there. 😉
BIEN !
Niver Luminoso
The media could not be loaded.
