    This toilet roll holder is smart looking, has a good, consistent finish to it and is lightweight. But the feature that I really like is the fixing plate shape. Usually these things are circular and you fix them to the wall with the provided screws and then the toilet roll holder fits onto the fixing plate/bracket and you tighten a small screw to stop the toilet roll holder from moving.The issue with circular fixing brackets is that, eventually, the toilet roll holder will start to slip and move but with this toilet roll holder, the fixing bracket is of a different shape and the screw that holds the toilet roll holder to the fixing bracket is tightened on to a flat surface. I added a couple of photos to show what I mean about the fixing bracket.This design update means the toilet roll holder will remain a lot more secure and shouldn't slip and move in the same way that other toilet roll holders do that have a circular fixing bracket.I'd happily recommend this and give it a 5-star rating.

    The media could not be loaded. I personally used it as a toilet roll holder to replace an old one that was coming off the wall. The only thing I didn't like was the fact I couldn't use adhesive + glue method to stick this on the wall, this must be drilled in to use it, it's light material but metalic, feels like probably aluminium with gold plated spray, it's brushed so it looks good.Putting it on isn't that hard, mark the bit in the middle with a pen, drill a hole in the wall the size of the plastic anchor, it only needs one screw to hold it up but you can use both in either hole out of the 3, the size is about 6mm drill bit, or just use one that's as big as the plastic anchor, tap the anchor gently in the hole or holes you've made, then place the metal plaste on the wall, one thing to note, the way it goes on if putting horizontally you will want to match the handle as it goes in one way where the screw on the side of it catches the metal plate, is the way it's going on.Any mistakes I guess you can just unscrew and re-position, once the metal plate is on the wall, then put the handle on and use the allen key provided to tighten and hold it on. What would make this better is providing some more plates, to allow me to take it off and put it somewhere else if I so choose, maybe another way to install it with an adhesive backing and some glue.Aesthetically it's top notch, materials are hard metal, and light so it can handle some weight with no issues, the screw on the side if that loosens up somehow it may fall off, this is why i removed a star. It isn't really that permanent.

    I'm no DIY expert but this was pretty easy to mount on the wall. The backplate has the holes for the screws and then the other bit slides over the top.Not a lot to say. It just works, feels like a decent quality and doesn't show finger marks so a good product.I would recommend this toilet roll holder.
