I added this to my existing Arc setup in my lounge. The arc although brilliant felt a little quiet, and its location above a fireplace meant it was great for most of the sound but the bass lacked punch.SetupPlugged this sub 4 behind my tv, and opened the Sonos App, it had already been detected so only took a few minutes to setup and retuned the setup.PerformanceWhilst it doesn’t absolutely blow you away with the difference, I watched a 4k movie with atmos and the overall volume was better, the sub fills the room rather than sounded like it’s behind me and there is absolutely no rattle or other noise beyond the crisp, deep sound.Why the 4?I had been considering a sub 3 for a year, but once the rumours were already a few months ago so decided to wait; either for a cheaper sub 3 or a sub 4.The Prime sale meant the price was only £120 more than the 3, and my rationale is it will support future devices longer and i’d never upgrade a 3 to a 4.No regrets at all, and the cold matte metallic feel of the sub looks and feels great.
