5.0 out of 5 stars A variety of bands
Good product to suit all people with a good variety of band strengths
4.0 out of 5 stars Seem Ok. But
They seem to be Ok and arrived on time, but you may wish to know the kit only comes with 2 carabiner clips. My wife is recovering from a complete knee repacement op, so for her, this means when she needs to change from 1 exercise (eg: leg swing) to another (eg: pull up) with different power ratings she has to completely dismantle the first in order to assemble the second. I had to buy some additional carabiners for her, 6 for £4 not too bad, but maybe would have considered other options first.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for exercising at home or anywhere
This review is for Fitense Resistance Bands Set 6PCS. I ordered the Gray Gradient version, but in retrospect the Multiple Colours option would have been much better for telling the different bands apart. There is really very little visual difference between the grey shades and it doesn't help that the weight rating is only printed on one end of the tube. You get six tubes ranging from just under 5kg to just over 40kg, although in practice these ratings mean little as they are very hard to compare with fixed weights such as dumbells. They work your muscles differently from fixed weights, with the maximum resistance being when the tube is stretched taut, unlike dumbells which have a fixed weight but work your muscles most when held further from your body. The ability to mix, match and add different tubes gives great versatility and should provide options for a challenging resistance for most levels - certainly well beyond my limits, anyway! You also get accessories including hand grips, ankle cuffs, an under-door anchor, two carabiner clips and a carry bag. There's also a printed sheet of suggested exercises, which I found helpful.I'll mainly be using these tubes to build some upper body strength and I think they're ideally suited for that. The hand grips are a great feature and far more comfortable to use compared to plain resistance bands. They're lightweight and easy to transport so you can use them wherever you like, and take up much less space at home than a standard set of weights.Overall, I'd recommend these resistance tubes as a great option for anybody starting a set of home gym equipment, they're just so convenience and versatile for the price you pay.
5.0 out of 5 stars My first set of resistance bands (and I think I am onto a winner)
I am a man of a certain age where I have begun to notice that I easily pick up small aches and pains. I used to have a very active lifestyle, now less so. It is true what they say, when it comes to fitness and flexibility, use it or lose it. This is something I need to address!Offered these under Vine I thought I would give them a go. I have to make a disclaimer here, these are the first set of resistance bands I have used, I have no experience as to what makes a good or bad resistance band, I come to these as a complete novice. For me, what is essential is not only the supplied kit but being told how to use it, so I was glad to see that the box included a work out poster. Mine looks a tad dogeared but the suggested use of the bands is nice and clear and much appreciated. However, some seem a tad impractical, the band end disappears off into the ether to be tethered to presumably 'something' but what does one do where there is nothing suitable? The bands themselves are well made. I think it really good how they are colour coded plus they have their resistance sewn onto them. The ferrules at the end seem to grab the band well, I can't see them failing any time soon.Following the exercises that I can (as not all are practical), I think these resistance bands are the way to go. Easy to store, very gentle in use but, when I get the right resistance level, I can definitely feel benefit. The only thing I would change would be to include more suggested exercises that can be performed without the mythical anchor point.
4.0 out of 5 stars A nice set of resistance bands.
Exercise bands are great, you can take them anywhere with you, they provide great resistance for mobility exercises, and even strength training. Now, I don't know what makes one set of resistance bands great and what makes another set rubbish, but these seem to be good. They provide resistance from 10 to 90lbs per the manufacturer, but I'm not quite sure what this means. Is it just a rough guide or does it mean there is some science behind the rating. In any case since I don't go to the gym these have been providing me with the opportunity to get a bit of exercise at any time I need.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very impressive
Resistance bands have been around for the last 20-30 years now and when they first came out they were brilliant the however like most things mass production etc the quality drops. These however are a complete return to the good old days, with sold strong bands that are more cord/pipe then ribbon. Again with the skool designs you could mix n match to find the right level of resistance for your workout, and your not restricted by one single band either.270lbs in total, which just happens to be my current weight so to think these offer the equivalent of lifting myself and for resistance bands that is very impressive indeed. In many ways resistance bands are safer then free weights as they will only work by how much your muscles can pull them, they are not subject to gravity or will they pull you as if you have placed too many weights on a machine. You simply find your comfortable level and push it as far as you want to go.You get two handles suitable for every upper body exercises, ankle bracelets and a door anchor. It is worth telling your household what you are doing if you are going to use the door anchor as it will make repetitive banging and thudding noises.I love that you can pick the idea resistance and that your are not forced from one band to the next. For instance the red band is 70lbs in which you can Yellow (50lbs) and Green (20lbs) which you will probably find easier then the single red band alone. Unlike other bands that do not allow for mix n match your stuck with the bands you are given.Fully recommended.
Just What I Had Hoped For!
Once upon a time I had this really cool workout kit that was called something like the 'rubber band workout' or something like that. then I had another one that was like 'over the door workout' and I have no idea what happened to it, but I actually enjoyed the workout because it was fast and easy. So, when I came upon this, I decided to order it and maybe revisit that sort of workout. I am happy to report that while it is not a big rubber band, or the door pulley (uses your own weight, etc.) thing - it is actually the best of both of those! The bands are stretchy like a rubber band (resistance), there is a pulley type of system you can use (the door anchor), and I really like that I can start with lighter resistance and work my way up as needed. If you like resistance training, then you'll like this kit; and if you are a beginner, then you will appreciate the complete workout chart that comes with it.The cherry on the top is that it is very easy to travel with and comes with a drawstring storage bag that everything fits into.
Good company
One of the best customer care and made me enjoy the product even more

Great product
Works great use it daily to recover from an injury . May not be the most expensive but it does the job well
Nice set of resistance bands, well made for the price of less than a month's gym membership
I don't have a huge room in my basement where I can work out. In there I have a treadmill & elliptical. I don't have a lot of space for adding in a complex machine for resistance training. Having a set of resistance bands solves for that problem. This is a nice set, with 10, 20, 30, 50, 70 and 90 lb resistance bands. You can combine the bands to give resistance up to 270 lbs total, which is much more than I need from a home gym. The bands are thick & well made, I have no concerns about these snapping while I'm using them. The set comes with handles for upper body workouts, ankle straps for lower body and strap that you can hang over a door & close it. Admittedly I haven't used that. Not that I think it would snap, more because I'm not sure if my door can handle it.If you're like me, and don't like going to the gym, preferring to exercise in the convenience of your home, then this is a great set with some serious range of resistance. It has great value for the price, which is less than 1 month gym membership fees & if you tried to purchase a set of weights ranging between 10 to 270 lbs for your home, you would be spending $$hundreds & taking up a bunch of space.Even if you find you need more than 270 lbs of resistance, for this price point you could buy a second set and get yourself up to 540 lbs of resistance. If you're like me, and don't have a lot of room for a bunch of weight equipment, and aren't a fan of going to the gym, this is a great set to have for resistance training at home.
