    I got this for my nephew who’s an avid biker: he’s not a fair weather rider either, and is out in every season. He’s comprehensively tested this and thinks it’s the best thing he’s ever added to his bike.I have to clarify that neither he nor I fitted it ourselves: he paid a specialist to do it, but judging from what he said and the time it took it wasn’t a hard task.The most important aspect is that it really does what it says in the advertisement. It connected very easily and allowed him access to the apps he needed when riding. He has capacitive gloves and found using the screen faultless even in heavy rain. He’s most excited about the intercom function as it allows him to share music and talk to his girlfriend when she’s riding with him.In addition he’s also raved about the fact that he can use his phone mapping application for navigation now. The display is very easy to read and it’s just like having Siri riding pillion, according to him that is.As an uncle who’s scared of motorbikes I also appreciate that this is something that will help him when he’s riding, particularly the navigation, without having to do anything other than glance down at the display.It’s not a cheap piece of equipment, but when you consider how much you gain from having one it’s easy to justify the expense.Highly recommended.

    When I requested this item, it was selling for £249.99. Currently, the price is £229.99 and there is a £50 off voucher available plus a 10% off voucher.As is often the way with Vine, there’s not a lot of time to read everything before pressing the request button and I didn’t realise that this item is only for BMW motorbikes. Consequently, I can only comment on the product in broad terms.This is a good quality product that has the potential to make motorcyclists lives much easier and more comfortable since it facilitates access to maps, phone calls, music etc. A real bonus is that the rider and passenger can both listen to the same music, directions or speak to each other. It’s definitely waterproof because I tested it. You can also use the screen when it’s very wet. If you’re a motorcyclist with technical skills, you should be able to install the item yourself. If not, you’d do better to get it fitted professionally.This screen doesn’t come cheap until you consider the benefits. Given that it’s already £20 cheaper than when I requested it, the £50 off + 10% off brings the price down to a much more reasonable £162.

    I don't even know why I didn't get this type of product before because it is significantly easier to use it instead of keeping my phone all the time plugged in a waterproof case especially when I have to go for long rides and I have to use the maps. I cannot say too many things about the installation because I have asked the guys from the service to do it for me and what I can say is that it works even better than I expected and the unit is very well built. Of course, the screen is waterproof and the good part about it is that the touchscreen feature is also responsive even when it is completely soaked and I know this because I have been caught in heavy rain a couple of times and even with my motorcycle gloves on I was still able to access the apps that I wanted. It is very convenient to know that this device supports carplay and android auto, in my case because I use iphone for a long time the connectivity with the screen is stable enough and even when I am at the petrol station and I go inside and probably there is a distance of around 25- 30 min I have seen that the phone is still connected which is great. The cover that it has at the top is very practical especially when there is plenty of light because I can see better on the screen and based on the time of the day when for example I write daytime and there is full sunlight, I said the luminosity to the max and the screen is very visible and in the evening I reduce the brightness at the minimum not to get distracted while riding. The screen is stable on the handlebar of my motorcycle and even when I ride my bike on hard terrain, it still stays in place which is what I was expecting. I'm very happy with the functionality and build quality of this product but especially with the fact that I can use most of the features of my phone without having to touch it so I can focus better on riding my bike. Without any doubt, I have no complaints about this product, this is why I would definitely recommend it.
