5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Superb
This is a superb bit of kit. It is so beautifully put together and works so well I'd really like to give it 10 stars out of 5.When you open the packaging you are instantly aware that you are dealing with a quality item and that the manufacturers care about your experience. I know it's how it performs that counts but the way the item is boxed and the little touches, such as the envelope full of further information adds to the feeling that this product is a cut above the rest. Everything just looks so classy.Fortunately, the item lives up to expectations as it looks fantastic and performs brilliantly. It is quite small; measuring only 16cm x 12cm. The surface of the pad is slightly tilted and at its highest point it measures about 1cm in depth. It has a very minimalistic design with nothing visible from the front or above to break the clean lines. The controls are all on the side furthest away from you and are limited to a power switch; a Bluetooth connection button and a USB-C port. Further control over the device is available via the settings menu on your PC. Here you can customise the touch gestures and pad sensitivity to suit your preferences.Setting the pad up is straightforward and fuss free and you will be up and running in just a minute or so. The manual is excellent and it takes you through the process stage by stage. I only have one Windows device so I haven't been able to test the pad on its ability to switch devices but based on my experience of everything else I cannot imagine it will be anything other that effortless.Using it is a joy. It makes my life so much easier as it is so precise. I just love the range of control you have over your desktop and apps from this one little device. In summary, I am aware that I may be giving the impression that I am a bit of a fan of this track pad. Well, that is very much the case as I love using it. Given the quality I think the price of just under £45 is very reasonable and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Gesture control is so responsive and Bluetooth switching is smooth like butter!
When searching for a new Trackpad I had no idea there was such a big market for these devices. I nearly ordered the Apple Magic Trackpad but didn't like the price!Fortunately, I read the reviews, and the ProtoArc T1 Plus Wireless Trackpad was ultimately my preferred choice. The functions were mostly straightforward, with fast response time and Windows gesture control working out of the box. The Bluetooth worked the first time, but I had to add it a second time to get it to work, and then I could remove the old driver as it wouldn't allow it beforehand! The large trackpad surface area makes working on desktops a breeze. Getting used to the Left and Right buttons was difficult because they are longer now and I might find gesture control easier in the long run.Bluetooth switching is silky smooth although some older devices might need to catch up.I haven't tried it yet, but I am curious to know if stylus pens work on these touchpads.I highly recommend this Trackpad. It is a good contender, and its price is way below the Apply Magic Trackpad. Features are smooth like butter and charging is fast leaving you to work up to 50 hours before the next charge!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality trackpad
Upon opening the box I was surprised by the size of the track pad. It is considerably larger than the trackpad on my MacBook which I had originally thought was quite large. Connecting using Bluetooth was quick and easy both on my MacBook and Windows desktop. The trackpad is very easy to use and due to the size I rarely found myself running out of space.when dragging files etc. I really like that the trackpad supports a physical left and right click by pressing down on the lower left and right areas as I have never really adaptors to the lightly tap to click approach. Being Bluetooth I was able to place it on my desk exactly where I wanted it and did not have to worry about also having to accommodate a trailing cable. In terms of build quality it is pretty well made with and metal underside which gives it a little weight and makes it feel pretty robust. Overall, a really good trackpad offering great value for the price (£44.99 at teh time of review).
5.0 out of 5 stars Premium Large size trackpad.
Premium Large size trackpad.Ordered hoping it would be still usable with an IMac but can confirm definitely not, this is detected as a keyboard in apple OS, it however is still needed as i use a windows laptop for work so will be very handy for getting around large spreadsheets as i can now pan and zoom around them. The design is very reminiscent of apple so suits me just fine. It is very responsive to tracking, and is much better than the trackpad on my work laptop which is very small. this will also me a big improvement on my wrist as it can be comfortably laid flat on the desk. being able to use with a total of 3 different computers is a nice feature however do not see myself using this function as it will only ever be used on one device. This is for a trackpad on the high end side of quality, it is super slim with a larger than needed surface area, the silver looks stunning and the click of the buttons on the track pad are nice and solid. on the base are 4 rubber feet, now with the weight of this it is not going to slide around the desk any time soon.Considering the price of OEM trackpads this is very good value and even more so when you look at the leading brands price so a welcomed product for me and an easy 5 star product.
