    Considering that the brush roller design is what it is I must note that the bristles of this mini turbo brush head are a bit stiffer than the ones on the genuine thing and this reflects the efficiency of the cleaning process, not to mention that it can be a bit rough on more delicate/worn fabrics and high pile fluffy carpets (like mine - took way too much fluff than it was supposed to!). The claim made in the description that this motorized brush head can absorb stains is very bold and not true as stains are stains and a conventional vacuum cleaner (without wash function) can't make them disappear. As far as hair goes: the results are satisfying if we're talking long hair, but regular maintenance of the roller is a must as all the hairs end up rolled all on it; pet hair is a bit of a hit and miss with this type of brush head. Cleaning the stairs (if you have low pile carpet) is a breeze and the same goes for the car seats. Otherwise the dimensions, design and color resembles the genuine part with some exceptions, but it fits all models with quick release button (V7/V8/V10/V11/V12 and V15) - easy to put on and easy to take off. There is a small brush with cutting blade to assist with the hair removal, which is nice and handy.

    The bristles are stiff on this, more so than the dyson brush head. This negatively effected the clean on carpets but actually helped on hard floors and particularly my car boot floor and sides.I need to get another brush for my regular rugs and floors but its nice to have this for the other uses mentioned. It does have a use but isn't good as a direct replacement for me.
