This is the 4th Defender case I have had and I continue to return for each new phone I get! The case is a comfortable fit in my hands and the buttons provide a positive response when clicked. Installation of the phone is straightforward. The case is hard wearing and withstands drops and falls easily. I have never had any damage on my iPhones when they've been in the case.One issue I have found over the last 3 I have had, tends to come around the 18-24 month mark when the material on the outer case can begin to split a little, it tends to the then flap until I peel it off. Predominantly around the camera slot, (probably due to a high contact zone when holding the phone) It doesn't reduce the usability of the case at all it is just a minor area I have found.

The OtterBox ‘Defender’ really is perfectly designed and constructed for its purpose - namely, protecting very expensive and fragile mobile ‘phones. Three layers of protection are offered: polycarbonate, silicone and rubber. There are a plethora of YouTube clips demonstrating drops from as little as waist height to one purporting to be 100 feet. In all instances, the ‘Defender’ lives up to its name - it defends ! There are some people (and they are entitled to their views) who will object to the extra weight and bulk that this case adds to the mobile but I’m certainly not one of them ! I like my iPhone - and want it protected .

Bought for my husband who uses it on his phone for work, often on construction sites which are dirty and dusty. So far the phone cover has protected his phone perfectly. He finds Ita good size and easy to grip. Good value for money.

I have had several Otterboxes over the years, and they have generally been a good buy. This one is no different.The iPhone 15 Pro is a sleek design, marred only by the camera lump on the back. The case does a good job of enclosing the phone and providing a protective perimeter around the camera and the screen. I don't have a constant worry about banging or scratching the camera lenses any more.The case itself appears to have a good level of bump protection. The phone sits in a hard plastic shell that has a pliable rubber cover that clips into the plastic around the edges. The button action is positive and they stick out a bit more than the bare phone buttons - not a bad thing. There is a separate hard plastic holder that has a belt clip on the back, which can be used to prop up the phone in landscape mode. The holder is a kind of belt clip/stand/protection assembly but unless you are rake-thin and are used to carrying a Leatherman, Utility Pouch or Walkie-Talkie on your belt you will probably leave it at home after the first time you sit down without removing it.I was surprised that there was no clear secondary screen protector included in the package. Perhaps I am old-fashioned, but I think secondary screen protection is essential. No matter how good Gorilla Glass or Apple's "Ceramic Shield" is, it will scratch. If you want the full level of protection then don't forget to buy one.The phone can be mounted into the hard plastic holder screen-first, which provides excellent protection, but see my comment above...One thing to note is that you have to be very precise when you put the protector on - do it once you have put the phone in the case.All in all the case will serve well as intended. The hard plastic holder will end up in my desk drawer along with all the other ones from previous phones.

Have used otterbox defender cases for all my phones over the last 10 years or so, thanks to the combination of the sturdy case and the benefit of being able to clip the phone onto myy belt. Phones are big enough already, without the extra bulk of the case and the grippiness of the silcone outer.Great product, my only issuue is the need to replace the belt holders after a while as they get caught on something whilst I'm squeezing past something and I snap off a lug.This current one doesn't need the corner lugs to hold the phone as much so may not be as much of an issue when the time comes...

Very robust, the 3/4 layers took a bit of figuring out but, once I'd got the hang, very good. I don't think I'll have any use for the clip outer but, for anyone working with overalls etc I think it would be ideal. Very good belt clip.

This is a good tough rugged case, I had a couple now going back to my Samsung Galaxy Note 1 which had a plastic screen section so I didn't have to purchase a screen protector from Otterbox which cost me nearly as much as the original Galaxy Note case. It's a pity that they dropped it but I'll have to get used to having to replace the costly Otterbox tempered glass protectors when inevitably I will drop the phone and it will crack. Hopefully not but I miss having that built in plastic screen protector, it kept the rubbish from getting into the screen too.Ahh, so much for progress :-((UPDATE Oct 24It's so good that I ordered another one on Bolo Market Place but when it came on investigation it was clearly for an iPhone 14 Pro Max which is slightly different so if you have an 15 Pro Max and see a 14 Pro Max one going cheaply don't be tempted to buy it because they are not exactly the same. Just thought I'd mention that.
The best protection for you phone and purchase a screen cover to to protect your screen.
This manufacturer is fabulous. They even replaced one of my cases years ago. I would never buy any other brand. I dropped my recent past phone at least once a week and my old phone looks like brand new when out of the otterbox. Just bought a new phone this weekend and put on my new otterbox tonight.

It seems to be a great case. I had to watch YouTube to figure out how to put it on the phone. I have gotten great reviews from family who have the same phone and case and one who had dropped their phone from second story balcony and the phone didn’t get a crack or scratch with this case on it. With such a expensive phone it is well worth spending the money to protect it. I hope to never find out if I will be as lucky as others.
Black otter box
I have the 15 pro max and before I had the 13 pro max and have had this case for both. Every time I use any other case it always results in my phone smashing, so I don’t even bother getting anything but this now. This case is the best. I use it with a tempered glass screen protector and its holds up great. It’s very nice material and doesn’t slide out of my hands or anything. I recommend it 1000%
