PrecisionBiotics Daily Good Bacteria is designed for those looking for a daily gut health supplement or support during and after antibiotic use. The formulation includes scientifically tested BB-12 and LA-5 bacterial culture strains, along with FOS fibers. PrecisionBiotics Daily Good Bacteria is formulated with 4 billion CFU of the scientifically studied Bifidobacterium BB-12 and Lactobacillus LA-5 bacterial strains. It also contains FOS (fructooligosaccharides), which acts as food for bacteria in the gut. Both strains are able to survive the gastrointestinal tract. A convenient daily capsule is suitable for those on antibiotics or for everyday ongoing use. When taking alongside antibiotic prescriptions, use during and after completion of the course. DIRECTIONS: Take 1 capsule daily with or without food. If taking alongside antibiotics, we recommend taking the capsule between the antibotic doses, and continuing daily after the course is complete. Suitable for ongoing use. Do not exceed the stated dosage. Food supplements are not substitutes for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of children. My daughter’s a dentist so I’m well aware of how a good dose of daily bacteria is good for us all. We chose these as they are soya free gluten-free and dairy free so have added these into my diet to improve my overall wellbeing.They are easy to swallow and don’t taste of anything going down. I’ve only been taking them for a week or so, so early days to say how I’m feeling but all good so far and definitely no adverse reactions.Will order again

I ordered this tub of "PrecisionBiotics Daily Good Bacteria - Daily Gut Health Probiotics supplement" as I've had a course of antibiotics over the summer and like many people, I'm starting to realise antibiotics can effect the good bacteria in your biome as well as the 'bad'. I decided to try these as I'd like to rebalance a little, if possible, and these specifically say you can take alongside or after antibiotic treatments (however it does mention not to take both at the same time of day).The tub contains 30 capsules, which at the recommended dose of one per day, represents a month's supply. With a price point of £22.49 currently that month's supply works out at 75p per daily dose, so I'm keen to see if I feel any beneficial effects ( its early days yet) for the outlay.I was pleased to see the supplement is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. It's also allergen-free, dairy free, soya free, and gluten free according to the tub's side.Made by a Spanish company, these capsules contain two types of bacterial strains - that's not many ( I've seen some supplements with fourteen!) but they are strains that are often mentioned as beneficial - Lactobacillus acidophilus and Lactobacillus animalis. Lactobiacillus is well studied and the different strains have different areas of effect so some research should help you decide if these are the right strains for you. They contain 4 billion CFU per capsule, which is, believe it or not, not a huge dose compared to some (I remember one supplement I had had 60 billion CFU, although that was at the other end of the scale!) The supplement also includes fructooligosaccharides (known as FOS) which is reported to increase efficacy.My pack had an impressive shelf life and is shelf stable, so doesn't need to be refrigerated. I've only taken a few so far, so it is early days to see if there are any effects, however, my digestive system appears to be taking them in its stride.I have had a few other types of pro and pre biotic in the past, and if I were to take these in the long run I feel I would still have to supplement them with other good bacteria strains, for example I personally think I would benefit from L Reuteri. Rather than give anecdotal effects from these I’ll stick to why I chose them. * I like that this product has focused on strains with good evidence behind them rather than high CFU counts.* They’ve included prebiotic plant sugars.* The capsules are small in size and are easy to swallow.My only slight criticism is that they come supplied in a very small container with quite an awkward lid. People with poor hand strength/dexterity etc may therefore have trouble opening the container.

My favourite thing about this product is not the supplements themselves but rather their incredibly useful carry case! Unlike other supplements I have taken before these come in a sleek case which has a lid you can open and shut securely so you can transport the capsules with ease. As for the capsules themselves they are small white pills which are incredibly easy to swallow. They don’t have a taste but I did notice a faint chemical scent when I first opened the tub which I presume may be due to preservatives. I haven’t had any issues taking these and although it’s not really possible to measure how effective they are I can confirm I haven’t had any adverse reactions.

This is the first time I've seen a probiotic advertised for use alongside antibiotics. Usually the antibiotic kills everything in the gut including any probiotics, so this one is presumably absorbed quickly enough to withstand the antibiotics. It does say to take it at a different time of day from the antibiotic doses. The dose is one capsule a day and you get one month's supply. They come in a little container which is easy to carry around and this is supplied within a box which lists the ingredients and gives you further information in a font size you can actually read, so this is preferable to those containers where the print is so small that you don't have a chance of reading it. They are quite expensive at £22.50 for a month's supply but I'm assuming they are superior quality to reflect the price.

If you want to add different probiotics to the mix you may as well try these. I suggest you research it first to see if these will help with any problems you have. Some of these alternative biotics are used to set yoghurt and such and no good otherwise. Make sure you eat some prebiotics before you take it. Onion, leak, spinach etc. So that one can feed the other and it can thrive and reproduce and help you far more. Don't have it with a hot drink or alcohol. This is a good buy.
