When I saw the price of this set, it made my eyes water. This is a pretty expensive set, but when it arrived, we were taken by the build quality of the stand. Not only is it very sturdy, but its also made from tough, resilient plastic, it's hollow, yes but it's still very worthy, especially if you plan to get this for a bunch of children, as in our case.In our opinion though, the counters were of a poorer quality. They're hollow and the plastic is not of the same resilient nature as is the stand. The original Connect 4 game has solid, imprinted counters of great quality. But not this version by a third party.The game itself is in-between the size of the traditional Connect 4 game, and a giant garden version. You would need to get down to ground level to play this game if you place it on the floor. You can't stand to play it as it come to midshin-height (about the height of the seat of your sofa).The counters are supplied in a garish green and yellow combo. I much prefer the original yellow and red version.We like the addition of a collection net to the base of the game - it avoids the counters getting everywhere. There are also a four towers, one on each corner, which can be used to hold the counters as you play.I would recommend this set, if it was price better. Personally, at the current price, I wouldn't buy it, unless it was much closer to £40.4 stars

The media could not be loaded. We recently got the Giant Connect 4 Strategy Game, and it has been a huge hit with the kids! They’ve had a blast playing it both indoors and outside, and it's perfect for family gatherings or parties. The game is well-made with sturdy materials that hold up great, even with energetic play. It’s good quality and has provided endless fun while encouraging a bit of strategy for all ages. Highly recommend for families looking to add something fun and durable to their game collection.

You can set it up on a table or the floor for smaller kids.This larger connect 4 game was £41.99 at order time.Would have preferred the original colours for the discs at least.Brings back fun connect 4 gaming memories.The only reason this is not 5 stars for me is because the price tag is more than 4X the original classic game. But it’s easily 4.5/5. The storage bag is nice so you can store it away when not being used.

Just about the right size for younger kids.A 4 and 7 year old are happy playing with this, although much of the fun is in releasing all of the counters on the floor once the frame is full, rather than the strategy of the game.Plastic construction means that this will be suitable for outdoors when the summer returns

The Mrs and I both remember playing connect 4 as kids and it was great fun do we decided to pick this up for our little one.The whole thing is plastic and quite stable. The big difference is the size. It is quite a bit bigger than the standard sized one, it has a net at the bottom to catch the pieces, and the pieces have a hole in the middle which makes it much easier for little hands to play with it.I like the stacking handles at the side they make life much easier and less chance of pieces roling off around the house. It is easy to learn and play. Our neighbours kids picked it up during the 1st game and were happily playing it off and on all afternoon. Good quality, value not good at £59.99 at time of review. The media could not be loaded. The size a medium so it's big enough for the novelty but you are still able to pack it away. Also you pull the tabs from the side to release. It was super easy to assemble.

A nice giant size connect four game. It was easy to put together although the net basket isn't very useful. It is stable when built and works equally well outside or Inside. The storage bag is a little small to be practical but overall it's a good enjoyable toy.

Kids love playing connect four and thought this would be great addition for our backyard. On arrival, pieces are easy to set up and in five minutes kids are already playing. While plastic it is durable. Being able to adjust the height is helpful so it’s not so low to the ground. All in all great value. Can’t wait to use it when friends come over!
